REPAIR MAINT AND REPLACEMENT OF STREET LIGHT FITTINGS AND SUMMER APPLIANCE OF ARMY UNITS OF DHARMUND UNDER AGE (I) BHALRA

Supply Laying, jointing in repair with suitable thimble and cable gland, testing and commissioning or fixing in Wall or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable with XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty ) with aluminium conductor cable of size 16 Sqmm 4 core , 1100 volts, grade including taking down UNSV cable all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply Laying, jointing in repair with suitable thimble and cable gland, testing and commissioning or fixing in Wall or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable with XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty ) with aluminium conductor cable of size 10 Sqmm 2 core , 1100 volts, grade including taking down UNSV cable all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note for item No. 01 to 02. 1. The rate quoted by the contractor deemed to be inclusive of suitable size aluminium lugs at any required length at both ends of cable. 2. Suitable size of cable chromium plated stainless steel grands etc.

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foudation of poles/cable,stay assy, cable trench etc and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and laying dry river sand laid in trenches as cable cushioning 80mm below and 150mm above the cable and punned to 180mm and covering all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Punned qty will be measured and paid.

S & L brick covering with width equil to length of brick as the mechanical protction to cable with well burned sub class 'B' laid in trenches flat complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Cutting existing road surfaces or hard standing 0.45 mtr depth and 0.3 mtr width (22 CM thick comprising bituminous topping) for laying of pipes/cables and making good to the disturbed surfaces to match with existing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Rate quoted by the contractor deemed to be inclusive of PCC 1:2:4 to be required to making good the disturbed surface to match with existing.

M & L for Horizontal drilling hole at a depth upto 1 mtr below the normal ground level of suitable size to insert pipe upto 40-80 mm dia across the road across the horizontal position at different location complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for GI tubing (light grade) with all necessary fitting laid in trenches/under road crossing, or fixed on poles/walls/under floor etc complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes:- a) 40 mm dia bore
