Removing the window/ split type AC of 1.5/ 2 ton capacity of any make from any location for carrying out servicing complete as and when directed and installing back at original location, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rate of following deemed to be included in quoted rate :- a) Cleaning the body, evaporator and condenser with detergent, combing the pins and flushing with air blower b) Checking electrical connection, cleaning, Greasing, oiling, fan/blower motor, cleaning of air filter with blower c) Wrapping suction and discharge pipe with foam insulation and white roll ,changing drainage pipe when necessary d) The unit rate quoted by the tenderer inclusive for Removing, servicing, installation, commissioning and testing of all equipment’s, tools and plants, and back in on final position complete (e) The work shall be done by a specialized team of Engineer/Technicians of OEM. Supply and fixing as in repair of Copper tubing of size 1/2" flare size conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repair of Copper tubing of size 1/4" flare size conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in repair of Copper tubing of size 5/8" flare size conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and directed.

Repair and maintenance of inverter type split AC of any capacity / any Make from any location including attending breakdown calls, routine maintenance and servicing ,testing and commissioning all as specified and directed here under :- a) Cleaning the body, evaporator and condenser with detergent, combing the pins and flushing with air blower. b) Checking electrical connection, cleaning, Greasing, oiling, fan motor, cleaning of air filter with blower. Material and labour for repairing the leakage in the steel water tank of water cooler of any capacity by welding brazing/ soldering complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Multi capacitors 4.5 µfd for cooling appliances including taking down existing unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Carbon (filter) 12” size incl taking down old unsv complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of filter for water cooler of any size any make complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Multi capacitors 6 µfd for cooling appliances including taking down existing unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and charging of refrigerant gas R-134a to water cooler, refrigerator and deep freezer air conditioner of any type, make and capacity all as specified and directed. (i) Empty cylinder shall be returned to contractor. (ii) Payment shall be made for net weight of gas filled.

Material and labour for taking down of ceiling fan of size 1200/1400mm for safety checking by replacing defective parts/painting/rewinding and re-fixing the ceiling fan after repairs, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note:- The replacement of unserviceable items like capacitor, Bearings, Bush, Canopy, down rod and winding etc. shall be made as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge which will be measured and paid separately under respective items as Supply only. However, parts of minor nature such as screws, lugs, insulation tape, nuts, bolts, washers etc after cleaning the metal surface, greasing/lubricant etc to make it functional and making connection by replacing PVC insulated unsheathed cable of copper conduct of size 1.5 Sqmm from ceiling rose/ connector fan (minimum 0.50 Mtr length) including cost of labour for above replacement are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate all as directed.

Note:- The following items shall be deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate quoted against Sl Item No 114. (a) In each job, checking the functioning of fan including its connections, cleaning of fan, greasing of fan and mechanical check i.e. tightening of loose screw, nuts, bolts, etc are inclusive in unit quoted rate.

(b) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having qualified in ITI ( electrician Trade), documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced, before commencement of work.

(c) The entire job will be carried out in AFTC, 2 DC area and Air Force stn Jalahalli

(d) Replacement of unserviceable parts like rubber bush, clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, safety pin, bearing etc will be paid under respective item here-in-after as supply only through proper documentation.

(e) Necessary T&P such as ladder, required manpower for taking down and refixing after repair shall be of contractor's responsibility.

(f) All types of T&P, PVC insulation tape, minor nuts, bolts, washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by contractor without any cost to the department.

(g) Any fan found defective/not working shall be brought to AGE E/M store yard & re-fixed after repairing.

(h) In case of major defects, entire job shall be completed within 10 days from the date of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @100/- per day shall be recovered.

Attending complaints for non-functional/ unserviceable street light/perimeter lights/high mast light/flood light etc of any type/size fitted on poles/walls/post/pillars etc) by deploying technically qualified and experienced technicians to find out defects and taking out unserviceable parts such as electronic driver, pvc insulated copper conductor cable for connecting street light fittings etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection/loose connection, screws,nuts & bolts and insulation tape to insulate the LT joint etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed at AF Station West Area Jalahalli.

Note : The following items are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate :-

The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to the Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

Contractor has to ensure serviceability of all Street/ Security Lights in DOMESTIC & TECHNICAL AREA of AFTC, 2 DC area and AFS Jalahalli on Daily basis in any weather condition at their own arrangement.

Contractor or his Authorised Representative has to inspect all Street/ Security Lights on Daily basis at their own arrangement between 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM and maintain the record in Register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the very regular basis. (Every succeding day)

A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Street/Security Lights will be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every MONDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User along with Contractor or his authorised Representative.

Contractor has to arrange own moveable Generator of suitable capacity for repairing and testing of the Street/ Security Lights, defect rectification of Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair. No Electricity shall be provided by the Department on this account.

Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and Equipment's to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS.

Contractor shall provide conveyance to the employed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department.

Vehicle mounted ladder for maitenance services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department.

Material required for the repairing of the lights shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s) . But labour required for taking down, dismantling, repairing and replacing parts and reinstalling and testing the lights fittings shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Aluminium Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the tradesmen deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

All type of T & P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts/ washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

Attending and repairing complaint for one light of any type shall be measured and paid as one Job.

Earth work (if necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items.

In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Charge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than condition 67 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regards shall be final and binding.

The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

M&L in repair Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit, including taking down old u/s earth pit cover, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing old unserviceable copper strip etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note : - All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Material and labour for Brazing of copper/Aluminium for continuity, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of floor mounted, free standing OEM made type tested LT Feeder pillar panels, with canopy, as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of CPRI approved IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycarbonate, should be weather/vermin proof, anti -acid, anti-corrossive, UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1, fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11, UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties, RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thermoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosure should be above 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel should be fitted with one No. polycarbonate IP 65, 9 W LED translucent bulk head luminaire color lamp not less than 6500K, PF > 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance. Panel shall be fitted outside with one No. of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 600 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following switch gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded aggregate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level, complete all as speified and directed and comprising of the following:-

(a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 400 Amps 36 KA - 01 No. (Incomer). (b) Change over switch 400A, 4P front operated - 01 No. (c) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 160 Amps 25 KA - 02 Nos (O/G). (d) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 125 Amps 25 KA - 02 Nos (O/G). (e) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 100 Amps 10 KA - 01 No (O/G) (f) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 63 Amps 10 KA - 01 No (O/G) (g) MCB SPN of 240 V of capacity 40 Amps 10 KA - 01 No. (h) Multifunction Meter (V,I,PF) with suitable capacity of CT's - 01 No. (j) Indicating lamp (R-Y-B) set LED type with backup MCB for 3 Phase Supply - 01 set. (k) Space for spare feeder - 01 No. Note :- (i) The contractor shall submit CPRI approved IP65 certificate and all type test reports of polycarbonate modular enclosure as per norms mentioned above in BOQ alongwith the make approval. (ii) The Contractor shall submit the drawing for approval of GE before executing the work. (iii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Note :- An amount of Rs 1,99,145.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
