Round the clock Operation of DG Sets for academic area, west campus, main and admin building at IIT Delhi.

Round the clock operation [in four shifts i.e. General Shift, Morning Shift, Evening Shift and Night Shift on everyday] of different capacities of DG Sets installed for Academic Area, West Campus and Main and Admin Building in the IIT Delhi Campus. Scope of work includes: Manual operation of DG Sets and Switch gears/ breakers for supplying of DG power as and when required during main supply failure including cleaning of DG sets and premises. Logging of DG sets operations as per prescribed proforma. Daily checking and recording of Diesel consumption and availability, Condition of batteries. Filling of Diesel in Diesel tank and transporting of Diesel from site to site as and when required. Tools and Tackles shall be provided by the contractor to the staff engaged for the work. Contractor shall depute qualified staff for round the clock operation of D.G Sets as under: (i) Highly Skilled Foreman : 01No. (ii) Skilled/ Operator [Mechanic grade] : 14 Nos. (iii) Helper Grade : 10 Nos. Note:- 01 Job means -- Carrying out the scheduled work by deputing the above mentioned manpower and fulfilling Terms & Conditions as stipulated for a period of one month.
