SCHEDULE A BOQ

Attending unserviceable/ non functional hanger/wall/surface (for lights etc of any type/size fitted on poles/walls/post/pillars/hangers etc) by deploying technically qualified and experinced techinicians to find out defective/taking out unserviceable parts such as electronic driver, pvc insulated copper conductor cable for connecting street light fittings etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection/loose connection, screws,nuts & bolts and insulation tap to insulate the LT joint etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed for at complete AF Station Sulur.

Note for item No 02 : The following items are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate :-

(a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained skilled electrician shall be produced before commencement of work.

(b) 'Supply only' items to be delivered/ supplied to AGE E/M store yard as per qty asked by Engineer-in-Charge with in one calender month from the date of commencement of contract and these items will be issued from AGE E/M store yard for attending unserviceable/ defective street light complaints.

(c) Contractor or his Authorised Representitive has to inspect all Hanger/flood Lights on Daily basis at their own arrangement between 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM and maintain the record in Register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the very Next day.

(d) A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Hanger Lights will be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every FRIDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User alongwith Contractor or his authorised Representitive.

(e) Contractor has to arrange own T&P for repairing and testing of the Street/ Security Lights, defect rectification of Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair.

(f) Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Hangers Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and Equipments to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS.

(g) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(h) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the JE/Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The JE/Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the double rate per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforceabove as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer is this regards shall be final and binding.

(j) Contractor has to ensure serviceability of Hanger lights on Daily basis in any Weather Condition at their own arrangement.

(k) Contractor shall provide conveyance to the deployed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department.

(l) Vehicle mounted ladder for maintaining services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department.

(m) Materials required for the repairing of the lights shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s). But labour required for taking down, dismantling, repairing and replacing parts and reinstalling and testing the street lights fittings shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

(n) Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

(o) All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the persons deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident/injury of any type. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this part.

(p) All type of T & P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts/ washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

(q) Attending and repairing complaint for one light of any type shall be measured and paid as one Job.

(r) Earth work (if necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items.

(s) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent work at and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

(t) Contractor shall provide contact details of his responsible person(s) for any emergency.

(u) Any Materials replaced which are not specified in SCHEDULE OF CREDIT will be deposited to MES STORE YARD without any extra Cost to the Department.

M&L for taking down of ceiling fan of size 1200/1400mm for safety checking by replacing defective parts/painting/rewinding and re-fixing the ceiling fan after repairs,all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note:- The cost for replacement of unserviceable parts of minor nature such as screws, lugs, insulation tape, nuts, bolts, washers etc after cleaning the metal surface, greasing/lubricant etc to make it functional and making connection by replacing PVC insulated unsheathed cable of copper conduct of size 1.5 Sqmm from ceiling rose/ connector fan (minimum 0.50 Mtr length) including cost of labour for taking down defective parts are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate all as directed.

Note for item No 11 :- The following items shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate (a) In each job, checking the functioning of fan including its connections, cleaning of fan, greasing of fan and mechanical check i.e. tightening of loose screw, nuts, bolts, etc are inclusive in unit quoted rate.

(b) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having qualified in ITI ( electrician Trade), documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced, before commencement of work.

(c) The entire job will be carried out in Air Force stn Sulur and necessary documents showing qtr No, bldg No supported with user signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge and will be deposited to concerned JE (E/M) within 24 hrs.

(d) Maitenance of documents ie complaint slip/complaint register & other stationery required shall be of contractor's responsibility.

(e) Necessary T&P such as ladder, required manpower for taking down and refixing after repair shall be of contractor's responsibility.

(f) All types of T&P, PVC insulation tape, minor nuts, bolts, washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by contractor without any cost to the department.

(g) Any fan found defective/not working shall be brought to AGE E/M store yard & re-fixed after repairing.

(h) In case of major defects, entire job shall be completed within 10 days from the date of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @100/- per day shall be recovered.

(j) In case of minor defects, entire job shall be completed within12 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ 50/- per job shall be recovered.

(k) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent/ routine works and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

M&L painting the ceiling fan 1200mm /1400 mm sweep with one coat of syntetic enamel paint as existing colour and writing the MES No- as directed by Engr in Charge. Note:- (i)Painting of ceiling fan shall be done inside MES complex only. (ii) Taking down and re hanging of fan shall be measured and paid under relevent item here in above seperately.

Material and labour for winding of ceiling fan motor 1200 mm sweep of any make with super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge (wt of copper winding wire per fan 350 to 500 gms) including cutting and getting out old burnt winding, sleeve work, varnishing with E class insulation varnish, threading, connections with twin core copper flexible wire of size 0.0076mm of length not more than one meter with each fan complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Motor shall be wound with machine inside MES complex only.

Description all as per Sl item No 26 here in above but ceiling fan of 1400 mm sweep

Material and labour for winding of Exhuast fan 450 mm sweep of any make with super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge (wt of copper winding wire per fan 250 to 500 gms) including cutting and getting out old burnt winding, sleeve work, varnishing with E class insulation varnish, threading, connections with twin core copper flexible wire of size 0.0076mm of length not more than one meter with each fan complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Motor shall be wound with machine inside MES complex only.

M&L Earthing with Galvanised Earth Plate Electrode 600x600x 6mm thick burried directly in Ground (Earth Pit not less than 2.25 Metre below Ground Level) with Top edge of the Plate not less than 1.50 Metre below Ground Level, connected with Galvanised Earth Strip of size 25x6mm (upto 7.5m length) by means of Bolts, Nuts, Check Nuts and Washers of GI or Steel and connected Earthing Testing Point/Bus-bar including GI 40mm bore (dia) light grade Protection Pipe, Earth Plate surrounded by a packed thickness of Char Coal or Coke Dust mixed with Common Salt, Magneisum Sulphate (1 : 1 : 0.5) in alternate layers of not exc 150mm thick, PCC Pit in Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (20mm graded stone aggregate) and Pre-cast RCC Cover Slab of size 350x350x50 mm in Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate), reinforced with 10mm dia TMT Bars @ 100mm Centre to Centre in both ways, GI Wire Mesh, Funnel with GI Watering Pipe 20mm bore (dia) medium grade including necessary Excavation in any type of soil, Returning, Filling in and Removal of surplus Spoil disposal to out side MD land and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I and Testing on Completion including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as per specified and as directed.

Note for Item here in above :- (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

(b) After completion of work earthing shall be tested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.

(c) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab.

(d) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

M&L in repairs Galvanised Earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end complete all as per specified and as directed.

Disconnecting & taking out unserviceable one and replacemet with new Switch flame proof rotary type with termination box in LM6, 16A, single pole 250V.

Disconnecting & taking out unserviceable one and replacemet with new LED light fitting 2x16 Watt flame proof, CMRI certified recommended for gas/ vapor group of IIA & IIIB, Zone 1 & 2 and IP 65 protection with die cast aluminum hosing with heat resistant toughened glass with LED tube light fixtures driver, holders, connector etc. Complete with all accessories prewired and including connecting up with three core flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size.

Disconnecting & taking out unserviceable one and replacemet with new switch flame proof switch socket and plug combined in LM6 cable termination box in LM6, 16A, 250V, 2P + earth,

Disconnecting & taking out unserviceable one and replacemet with new flame proof exhaust fan 300mm sweep 230 volts, with all accessories fixed on wall/ceiling including writing MES No with synthetic enamel paint all specified and directed. Make : Sudhir or equivalent in Bajaj, Baliga. Note:- Old Unserviceable flame proof exhaust fan hall be deposited to MES store yard.
