   Railway reserve the right to procure the materials from sources having satisfactory past performance of supply,Installation and commissioning of same/similar item as per clause 16.4 of Eastern Railway General Tender conditions Or firm should have successfully supplied,Installated and commissioned same or similar item for minimum value of 35% of estimated cost of this tender during previous 03 years from tender opening date. Note: 1.Estimated value of the tender is Rs. 18997321.50 2.Similar item means " IOT based Water level indicator system"

   Firms should agree for prototype approval as per RDSO letter NO. MC/CB/LF/WLI dated 20.03.2026 before supply of material. Firms should also confirm possession of mandatory tests/certificates for prototype as mentioned in RDSO letter NO. MC/CB/LF/WLI dated 20.03.2026.

   In terms of Railway Boards letter No. 2020/RS/(G)/779/2/Pt.1 (E3322671)Dated: 20.08.2024 and in keeping with the Public Procurement (Preference in Make India) Order, 2017 as amended time to time, it has been found that there is sufficient Local capacity and competition in supply in the tendered item of required quality and therefore public procurement of this tendered item is restricted to Class I local supplier only(Class I local supplier means a supplier having local content to or more than 50%) The vendors who do not qualify to be Class I local suppliers should not quote in the tender as their offer shall not be considered for any ordering. In case any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class I local supplier for the tendered item participates in the tender it does so at it sown risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the vendor.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Validity of Offer: No deviation from the offer validity period stipulated in the tender is permitted. Firm will have to submit quotation with a validity for a minimum period of 90 [ninety] days otherwise their offer will be summarily rejected.
