REPAIRS/RESURFACING OF CERTAIN ROADS, REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE ITEMS AND ROAD PAINTING INSIDE FORT WILLIAM UNDER GE(FW) KOLKATA

Material and labour of repair to potholes of not exc 1.00 Sqm each & depth of pot holes exc 30 mm including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. and cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5Kg/10 Sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder VG-30@ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and rolled & consolidated with 8 to 10 tonne power roller,complete all as specified and directed (Mixing of premix will be done in hot mix plant laying by mechanical paver) complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer [email protected] kg per 10 Sq metre complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidate thickness with 5.50% binder(Paving bitumen of VG-30 Grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using 8-12 ton capacity mechanical power roller complete all as specified & directed. Note: - (a) Bituminous Premix Asphaltic Semi Dence concrete will be spread through Mechanical paver Machine only. (b)No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of binder as per design mixed is more that specified quantity. (c) The contractor is advised to assess the realistic quantity of binder for the design mix specified above before quoting. if considered necessary, they may get the design mix done on their own before quoting the Tender. However, the design mix done prior to quoting of Tender shall not be considered for incorporation in the work after conclusion of contract and have to be done as specified above.

Material and labour for premix bitumen macadam using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 4% minimum binder content by weight of total mix,laid/rolled with 8 to 10 tonne capacity of power roller and compacted to required gradient and camber, (Consolidate thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of binder as per design mix is more than the specified quantity.

Supply and fixing in repair two way solar reflective type road stud of alluminium alloy body of size 100mm x 100mm x 24 mm with PAMA striplens reflector, fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.. Make - Dark Eye model no DA 972, OSCAR safety solutions model no OS-786 , 3M as approved by GE

Supply and fixing of solar stud (blinker) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm with aluminium alloy shell, Mono-crystaline solar panel 2.4 V/0.3 Watt, one Ni-mh rechargable battery 1.2V, six LEDs, fixed to road with epoxy based resin adhesive after necessary preparation of surface including taking out existing old one and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed. Material & labour for applying a tack coat over existing bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg/Sqm of 20/30 bitumen and providing and laying 20mm thick bitumen mastic asphalt on prepared surface strictly in accordance with IS specification No 5317-2002( As latest modified) with mastic i.e. bitumen of grade 20/30 @ 4.50 Kg/ Sqm (Minimum) mixed with stone dust (lime stone powder with calcium value 80%) @ 0.008 cum/Sqm and stone chipping of size 12.5mm and 10mm @ 0.0096 cum/sqm and sand @ 0.004 cum per Sqm and inerting stone graded of 22mm size with 0.017 Kg/Sqm of 20/30 bitumen per Sqm for anti skiding including all tools and plants etc complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: 1. No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of binder as per design mix is more than the specified quantity. 2. TheContractor is adviced to assess the realistic quantity of binder for the Design Mix specified above before quoting. If considered necessary, they may get the Design Mix done on their own before quoting the Tender. However, the Design Mix done prior to quoting of Tender shall not be considered for incorporation in the work after conclusion of Contract.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up old manhole cover with frame (heavy duty) and raising / refixing proper position, set in cement mortar 1:3 and haunching with PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20m graded stone aggregate) concrete surround finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Note: Schedule of credit (SCHEDULE OF CREDIT) amount of Rs ________ mentioned on Page No ____ shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ.
