Group A – Dock Hire and Service Charges
Dock Hire Charges including cleaning the dock floor
First Day including dock block preparation as per docking plan keel blocks for 1st version as per docking plan to facilitate dry dock repairs, blasting & painting of the areas in way of the LOA 82.60 m, Breadth 14.0 m.
Following Days till undocking the vessel. Payment will be made as per actuals. However, after the given period, if no repair or survey work in progress, due to delay caused by the yard, payment of Dock hire during such period shall be bourne by the contractor.
Wharfage for carry out Afloat repairs and survey of the vessel along with mooring / unmooring assistance (including Tug & pilotage) - Summer Draught- 4.20 m - Payment will be made as per actuals. However, after the given period, if no repair or survey work in progress, due to delay caused by the yard, payment of wharfage during such period shall be bourne by the contractor.
Ship to be dry docked & undocked (including Tug & pilotage)
Providing continuous Shore power supply – AC 50Hz., 3 phase 415V; including cost of Connection and Disconnection of Shore power Supply. Payment will be made as per actual meter readings.
Cooling Water supply to refrigeration / AC Machinery (per day per line), 2½” Braided hose – including cost of Connection & Disconnection of Cooling water lines. Payment will be made as per actuals. However, after the given period, if no repair or survey work in progress, due to delay caused by the yard, payment of Cooling water supply during such period shall be bourne by the contractor.
Sea Water supply to ballast tank - 2 Lines including cost of connection & disconnection of Sea water lines. Sea water supply to ballast tanks including cost of hoses and connection & disconnection of water lines. Forepeak, No.09 (P & S), No.08 (P & S) and forepeak.

Providing Fire Patrol - 3 men per Shift (Shift is 08 Hours) and 2 shifts in a day.
Fire line to be kept charged (3 bar) all the time when the vessel is in dry-dock. including cost of connection and disconnection of lines. Payment will be made as per actuals. However, after the given period, if no repair or survey work in progress, due to delay caused by the yard, payment of fire line during such period shall be bourne by the contractor.
Fresh water supply from shore line –Estimated for approximately 10 tons per day including cost of connection and disconnection of fresh water lines. Payment will be made as per actuals.
Galley refuge removal and disposal, during entire dry docking and afloat repair period

Group B – Repair Works Deck Side
Washing, Cleaning and Surface Preparation
Ships entire under water area to be high pressure water washed (Pressure – 250 Bar) to remove the marine growth as soon as the vessel docked and clean the underwater area with fresh Water thoroughly. Remove and refit the sea chest gratings (High Sea chest (P), Low Sea chest (S), Emg. Fire pump sea chest, Port side gratings of Bow thruster, and Stbd side gratings of bow thruster). Sea chest to be cleaned properly and inspected and Same to be presented for survey. After washing and cleaning, survey of underwater hull (100%) up to Wind + Water line including propeller, nozzles, annular guard chamber and other appendages including inside of the sea chests, sea suction gratings etc to be carried out by IRS Surveyor. All Bottom plugs to be opened, if required washer to renew. After the work completion refitted the bottom plugs, cross bar to be welded sealed with M-seal & vacuum test to be carried out.Thereafter all the above areas to be properly chopped, scraped and cleaned. Copper slag blast to the IRS recommended underwater hull areas to SA - 2.5 standard after taking all precautions and protections to the sensors. Surface prepration of the above area to be done before painting as per the recommendation of Paint manufacturers and satisfaction of the IRS Surveyor and DGLL representative. Payment will be made as per actual area. Cost inclusive of support, stagging and all preparatory works complete.
The entire hull area above water line up to the Main Deck including Port and Stbd side ships to be sweep blasted with S.A 1.0 standard after taking all precautions, and the entire area to be shown to the Surveyor / DGLL’s representatives. The rate is inclusive of support, staging, covering the Window glasses (Accom. Windows, Port Holes, Bridge Window, etc), deck machineries with suitable material (cardboard & plastic sheet) to avoid damage during dry dock works.Payment will be made as per actual area.
All decks including bulwark (Forecastle Deck area - 120 Sqm, Main Deck area - 59 Sqm, Poop Deck area – 72 Sqm, Boat deck area – 230 Sqm, Funnel / Bridge deck area – 136 Sqm, Monkey Island area - 180 Sqm, Quarter Deck area – 40 Sqm), to be properly chopped, scraped, cleaned and blasted with S.A 1.0 standard, as required, after taking all precautions, and the entire area to be low pressure fresh water washed after surface cleaning and mopping and shown to the Surveyor / DGLL’s representatives. The rate is inclusive of support, staging, covering the Window glasses (Accom. UT Gauging and Steel Renewal
Cropping and renewal steel in hull (under water line & above water line), super structure, and deck steel plates includes associated plates, brackets, beams, frames, angles, stiffeners or any other structural items, which are found wasted as per UTG report and as marked by Ship staff, or by IRS Surveyor. The rate inclusive of, men, material, support, staging, preparatory works, tests, and application of one coat of approved primer on renewed steel plates. All plates must conform to All plates must conform to IRS Specification. (Consider Specific Weight of steel 7.85 gms / cub.cm ). Test certificate to be submitted to ship. Payment will be made as per actual.
Steel renewal works in the forecast deck, main deck, Monkey Island, AHU room deck plates, Bulkhead steel structures, Bulwark, etc., includes associated plates, brackets, beams, frames, angles, stiffeners or any other structural items, which are found wasted as marked by Ship staff, or by IRS Surveyor. Antenna, bulkhead, deck head insulation panels, electrical cable, tray, panels, ducts, electrical fittings, motors, blowers, evaporators pipelines and other movable item required for the renewal of steel to be removed and refitted. The rate inclusive of, men, material, support, staging, preparatory works, tests and application of one coat of approved primer on renewed steel plates. All plates must conform to All plates must conform to IRS Specification. (Consider Specific Weight of steel 7.85 gms / cub.cm ). Test certificate to be submitted to ship. The rate inclusive of, men, material, support, staging, preparatory works, tests and application of one coat of approved primer on renewed steel plates. All plates must conform to IRS Specification. Removal & refitting of Sacrificial Aluminium anodes of underwater area, sea, chests & Ballast water Tank. To be checked and if necessary to renew after surveyors inspection/ recommendation as required including supply of Anodes as per sample, specification as per existing composition. The work includes removal, cleaning & fitment of Sea-Chest, gratings, along with renewal of securing bolts & nuts, and lashing wire of gratings. Anodes to be renewed as per recommendation of Surveyor. Test certificate from the appropriate authority to be provided. Composition of the Anode: Aluminum – 94.5%, Zinc – 5.5%, Maximum variation allowed: +5% in chemical composition. This work shall be carried out as per existing Anode plan of vessel.

Painting to Hull, Deck and Super Structure
Entire under water area of Hull, Fire Pump Sea Chest, sea suction gratings including inside of the sea chest (High Sea Chest, Low Sea Chest, FW Gen Sea Chest, And Emg etc to be painted by airless spray as per approved painting scheme of the vessel. The painting scheme shall be 5 coats of 60 months scheme as per paint manufacturer. The paint manufacturer’s representative to certify the surface preparation before application of each coat of paint. Before commencing paint work all underwater areas sensors covered with 06 mm plywood and polythene sheets, bottom plug area to be covered by polythene sheet and make sure all cropped and renewal area to be tested as per surveyor recommendations. Antifouling certificate to be provided from paint manufacturer and endorsed by IRS Class. Wet and Dry film thickness, atmospheric condition suitability for painting, quality of the coating etc shall be as per paint manufacturer’s specifications. This work includes supply of Paint as per approved paint scheme and staging as required. Payment will be made as per actual area.

Painting of Hull Markings, Letters and Symbols after proper surface preparation includes Scraping, wire brushing and disc sanding etc. as required - Port and Stbd Plimsoll marks, forward, midship and aft draft marks, Ship’s name in English and Hindi. Port of registry in English and Hindi, IMO number, Propeller & Bow thruster marking on both port and Stbd, DGLL Logo on both port and Stbd to be painted as per paint scheme. This work includes supply of Paint as per approved paint scheme and staging as required.
Stencilling and Markings - On completion of steel renewal and painting works ship’s deck and bulkhead markings to be done including SAFETY FIRST and IMO number on bulkhead in bold and big size.
Anchor and Anchor Cable (Anchor type - Sockless Anchor ,08 Cable length on each side, Weight of Anchor 1325 Kg, Length of Shank 1760 mm)
Anchor and Anchor cables to be disconnected from the bitter end, lowered and ranged on the dock floor. Both Anchor and anchor chain to be high pressure water washed with Fresh water, scrapped and chipped. Anchors with swivels to be inspected by IRS Surveyors and repairs to be carried out as per instruction. Anchor cables to be gauges and calibrated. All joining shackles to be opened and anchor should be made free movement. The chains and joining shackles to be renewed based on the calibration report. After surveyor’s inspection same to be marked with canvas and seizing wire. Bitter end to be connected and chains to be taken back in chain locker after cleaning & painting of chain locker as per scheme and three copies of calibration report to be submitted to Ship staff.
The spare anchor to be taken ashore and make rust free and painted as per scheme and to be inspected by IRS Surveyors
Port and Stbd chain locker water to be drained,mud amd muck to be removed.Area to be cleaned,hard scrapping and wire brushing to be done thoroughly.Both Port and Stbd chain locker to be applying one coat of Epoxy primer 50Mic. DFT and one coat of HB Black 50 Mic.DFT. Approx area - 100 sq.mtrs per locker.
Cleaning and painting of FW tank, ballast tank, Dirty Oil tank, F.O Tank, void space, etc after inspection and recommendation of IRS surveyor as CSH plan including Ventilation, gas free inspection & certificate and staging arrangements as per requirement. Arrangement to carry out testing of tanks as per Surveyor requirement. Under this item, there are total 33 No. of tanks listed out and the Details of tanks and its volume is at Annex –VIII (B). The job includes, 1. Opening and boxing back of manhole cover of tanks with new joints / gaskets (Cost and supply by yard) and bolts and nuts (yard supply), including chipping and painting of man hole cover as required. 2. Bailing out water/ oil, removal of mud muck etc., from the tank and to be disposed off to shore / oil drum after draining the tank by opening draining plug. 3. Forced Ventilation to be provided throughout the working period. 4. Hard scrapping, wire brushing, spot chipping on rusted areas and cleaning/mopping of complete tank for surveyor’s inspection (including disposal off debris generated etc.), carryout chemical cleaning & mopping the oil/sump tanks as required (Chemical cost & supply by yard). 5. Pressure testing of tanks and showing to Surveyors for inspection. 6. Applying two coats of paint in buoyancy space 7. F/W tanks to be painted with pure epoxy solvent free good grade paint 8. Void spaces to be cleaned and painted as required. 9. Fuel oil and other lubes to be transferred to suitable arrangements and same to be transferred to vessel after completion of work.
Ballast tanks, coffer dam and void space - List of tanks and approximate capacity of the tanks is provided in the Annex –VIII (B) and payment will be made as per actual capacity of the tanks.
Fresh Water Tanks - List of tanks and approximate capacity of the tanks is provided in the Annex –VIII (B) and payment will be made as per actual capacity of the tanks.
Fuel Oil Tank, Dirty Oil Tank, Lube Oil Tank, Sludge Tanks and Service Tank - List of tanks and approximate capacity of the tanks is provided in the Annex –VIII (B) and payment will be made as per actual capacity of the tanks.
Main Deck Wooden sheathing - The wooden planks of main deck area to be cleaned and inspected and damaged wooden planks at main deck area shall be renewed with good quality seasoned wood suitable for deck working and caulking to be carried out to avoid water penetration. Studs welded with nut renewed as required, missing wooden plugs over studs to be provided and caulked with cotton yarn and battery compound for water integrity. All materials are under shipyard scope. Wood used to be hard wood. Total running for caulking and battery compound application – 480 mtrs. Wooden sheathing size – 130 x 50 mm. Side chamfering of wooden piece – 125 x 50 mm. Stud welded and secured with nut M12 x 35 mm (l). Wooden plug for wooden sheathing size – M20 x 30 mm (l). Cost inclusive of support, stagging and all preparatory works complete.
Hull, Deck, Deck Fittings, Deck Machineries and Load Line Requirements (Port holes, Cargo Hatch Cover, buoy pockets, weather tight doors & Hatch covers). Cost inclusive of all materials, men, support, stagging and all preparatory works complete.
Anchor windlass chain leading roller (P & S) to be serviced. Scope includes removal and refitting after overhauling. Any parts / spares if required to be renewed.
Mooring operation accessories – All fair leads of forward and aft mooring station to be removed, overhauled, and refitted. Missing top bolts or lubricating points to be provided any parts and spares to be renewed, as required. All spares are under shipyard scope. Total Dead man roller fairlead – 07 Nos., Total Rectangular roller fairlead - 06 Nos.
Main deck buoy chain vertical chain guider (P) & (S) to be overhauled. Scope includes removal and refitting after overhauling. Any spares / parts, if required to be renewed. All spares / parts required under shipyard scope.
Main deck buoys mooring chain stopper assembly to be overhauled. Scope includes removal and refitting after overhauling of chain stopper assembly. Chain stopper threaded handle locking arrangements to be cropped and renewed. Any spares/parts if required to be renewed. Cost inclusive of all materials, men, support, stagging and all preparatory works complete.
All port holes rubber packings to be renewed & leak test to be carried out for water integrity. Approx. Dimension 132 cm (l) x 12 mm (w) x 12 mm (t).

Weather tight doors rubber beading to be renewed. Chalk test and leak test to be carried out after renewal. Scope includes removal of old rubber beading and renewal with new after proper surface preparation. While removing rubber beading, if any compression bar and retaining channel found defective same to be cropped and renewed. Mechanical ventilators, mechanical ventilation mushroom heads and ventilators ducts - All mushroom ventilator heads to be serviced. Rubber beading to be renewed after proper surface preparation, wire meshes renewed as required, rubber beading retaining channel and compression bar to be checked and renewed as required. 01 no. flap closing spindle is non-functional same to be repaired and made operational. If any air vent hood to be renewed, it should be class approved and certificate to be issued. However, the rates shall be quoted exclusive of Customs Duty, GST on Customs Duty, but inclusive of insurance, Freight charges, cost of local clearing and forwarding, bank charges, cost for transportation including landed onboard and other overhead charges, etc. The customs duty and GST on customs duty for the imported spares shall be reimbursed by DGLL as per actual on production of proof of payment made by the contractor. Any removal and refitting of platforms and chequered plates, any associated pipe lines and any sensor cable connections to be done by Yard.
Rudders (make- Rolls - Royce, type- FB, System - RRM700007620, Rudder No. 3357 – 3358, Rudder Area : 4.7 Sqm, Chord Length : 1.75m, Height: 2.7m, Max Rudder Angle - 45°, Balance Ratio - 34.3%, Amount of Grease In the trunk - 90 liters). The work includes, 1. Port and Stbd. rudder bottom plug to be opened and checked for water. Plug to be fitted back after pressure testing and cemented after flushing rudder space with yard supplied fish oil. 2. Port and Stbd. rudder drop and jumping clearances to be taken and recorded (Before dismantling and After Assembly). 3. Port & Stbd Rudder to be unshipped and placed for inspection of the Surveyor and fitted back after overhauling and renewal of spares. Both rudders to pressure tested and oil float coated internally. If any deep pitting or holes found, same to be repaired with suitable material and method. Cost including satisfactory trails after repairs. 4. Rudder stock to be unshipped. Stock to be cleaned, placed for inspection of the Surveyor inspected for any damages at bush and bearing area and calibrated. After completion of all repairs, satisfactory sea trials to be shown to Ship staff and IRS. Greasing passage to rudder bush to be ensured clear.

The work includes, 1. Both port and stbd. propellers to be dismantled along with accessories along with propeller tail shafts, intermediate shafts & bearings to be drawn from stern gear system and to be placed for inspection by Surveyor. Propeller shaft drop to measured and recorded. Tip clearances between Kort nozzles and propeller blades to be taken and to record. 2. DP / MP test of propeller blades and tail shaft to be conducted and shown to surveyor & ship staff. After DP / MP test on bearing areas and servicing of propeller shaft, same to be fitted back in position including coupling, after inspection / survey of IRS. Propeller shaft Fwd & Aft Liners / bushes to be calibrated, renewed as required and all seals are to be renewed (Liners, fwd & aft seal yard supply). Both stern tube forward and aft seals to be renewed after calibration. Stern bush to present survey. 3. P&S Propeller hubs to dismantle, blades to be removed from the Hub and fitted back with new 'O' rings (Yard supply). Tighten the holding bolts to required torque. After completion of repairs, satisfactory trials to be shown to ship staff (Seals/O-rings yard supply). DP/MP Test of propellers shall be carried out and propeller cone to be shown to Surveyor’s satisfaction. Propellers to be Calibrated and correct the indication on bridge console, ECR and local with actual pitch angle of propeller. 4. Port and Stbd. propeller blades to be cleaned and polished by buffing, dressed up and one coat of oil to be applied. 5. Oil in all systems to be drained, collected and given for proper disposal and necessary receipt to be given by yard. Renew the lubricating oil of both stern tubes and C.P Propeller and gravity tanks. ( Grade : Servo EP 150, Qty – 600 ltrs. Including Both Stern tube and gravity tanks) 6. Rope guards to be removed and fitted back after completion of work. Kort nozzle inner and outer surface inspection to be carried out and any pitting due to erosion or corrosion to be build up with suitable material and method. 7. Propeller shaft grounding system on P and S sides to be inspected and renew or repair the parts, if required. All spares / parts shall be under the scope of yard.

Oil in the system to be drained, collected and given for proper disposal and receipt to be issued by yard. 2. Propeller tunnel inspection to be carried out and any pitting due to erosion or corrosion to be build up with suitable material and method. Bow thruster full over hauling to be carried out. All blade seals are to be renewed. Bow thruster blades to be polished and greased. lubricating oil to be renewed (Grade: Servo Marine -EP 150. Qty -150 Ltrs) 3. Bow thruster propeller blades tip clearance to be taken and recorded. 4. Main electric motor coupling and coupling pad inspection to be carried out and if necessary required parts to be replaced.Solenoid valve to be overhauled. Pitch controlling hydraulic ram to be serviced and defective parts to be renewed. Calibrate and correct the indication on bridge console with actual pitch angle of propeller.

The scope includes, Both main engine governors to be overhauled and load condition of both man engine to be made similar as per the bridge and local control; Currently Stbd governor not fully opening while starting the engine, thus required more air pressure or manually pulling out the governor for starting. In normal engine operation also Stbd governor not coming to desired load. Both governor functions to be made similar and shown to ship for the satisfactory operation during engine trial. All pressure gauges, temperature gauges, sensors, pressure switches, pressure, temperature transmitters are to be calibrated. Defective components to be replaced (Engine RPM gauge, Lube oil pre. Gauge, Lube oil temp. gauge, F W temp. gauge and Exhaust temp. gauge). All alarms and trips to be tried out to the satisfaction of ship staff.
Steering Gear (port & Stbd) - Make: Scan Steering. The scope includes, 4 Nos. of hydraulic rams to be overhauled with new oil seals; 4 Nos. of hydraulic pumps are to be overhauled; 4 Nos. of valve blocks to be overhauled; Calibrate and correct the indication on bridge console and local with actual angle of rudder; Rudder indicator to be provided for port & Stbd system in the steering gear room and After completion of overhauling both systems operation (mid ship, hard port and hard starboard in individual mode and synchro mode) to be shown to ship staff. Main Air Compressors, Bottles & Air Drier – SD 0090 - Make: J P SAUER & SOHN, Type: WP 33 L ( SM 103, Qty – 02 ltrs). Full overhauling of main air compressors to be carried out. The scope includes Safety valves of 1st and 2nd stage to be renewed; No.2 air compressors 2nd stage cylinder heads to be renewed; Oil level & temperature control switches to be renewed; Electromagnetic drain valves to be serviced; Non return valves to be serviced and Both air compressors resilient mountings to be renewed (4 Nos. of mounts on each air compressor).
Two numbers main air bottle and one emergency air bottle valve head assembly and associated valves to be overhauled. All defective components to be replaced. Deep freezer compressors - Refrigerant Capacity: 50Kg, Sump Capacity: 3.5 Ltr/Unit, - Make: GEA Bock - Model: F4, Sr. No. AW90664B001 / AW90654B001. As per IMO circular all CFC refrigerants to be replaced with suitable eco-friendly refrigerant by 1st January 2020, in such case alteration to be made on DF system accordingly. The required components to be replaced for the modification. The scope includes, Both Deep Freezer compressors to be completely overhauled under the supervision of OEM; After overhauling of compressor and the system satisfactory operation to be shown to ship staff; Entire system gas and system oil to be collected and send for disposal and receipt to be issued by yard; New compressor oil compatible with new refrigerant as per capacity of compressors and flushing purposes and also spare oil for one full replenishment to be procured and supplied by yard; 50 kg of new refrigerant to be supplied as spare by yard; All pressure switches and pressures gauges to be checked for compatibility with operating range / parameters of new refrigerant, if not same to be procured and replaced; All TEVs to be checked for compatibility with new refrigerant for proper functioning of evaporator coil, if not same to be procured and replaced (3 Nos.); System drier core elements to be renewed and two drier core elements as spare to be procured and supplied by yard (3 Nos.); Entire DF system valve’s seats, valves and gland bushes to renew, the system to be pressure tested, rectify all the leaks, vacuum to be carried out and new refrigerants to be filled (Number of valves – Shutdown valves 22 mm size 03 nos; 26mm size 04 nos; 32mm size 03 nos); Sight glass of the receiver is broken, new sight glass to be fitted for the receiver (1 No); Defrosting sequence to be changed as per OEM requirements; 01 No. of Deep freezers defrosting coils to be renewed; Veg room – Analogue temperature gauge to be fitted near the entrance door (Range: -38oC to +50oC. RO Plant - Make: SLCE SD22 - 3 yearly routine maintenance to be carried out for RO plant as per OEM recommendation. The scope includes; 9 kW Hp pump and its motor to be overhauled; 1.10 kW Low pressure Feeding pump and its motor to be overhauled; 0.75 kW Cleaning pump to be overhauled; Control panels to be overhauled and defective spares to be renewed. 08 Nos. of Membranes to be renewed (Ship supply) and All membrane fastening clamps to be renewed. Sanitary exhaust blower - Make: Crompton greaves, volt-415, kw-3.7, 3ph, 5-amp. The Scope includes, full overhauling to be carried out on sanitary exhaust blower on monkey island and blower to be dynamically balanced; Presently too much vibration and abnormal noise is observed while running, the foundation to be strengthened / modified and resilient mountings to renew to eliminate / minimize vibration; The blower with base foundation to be relocated to some other location to minimise the vibration / noise; Any additional ducting required for relocating the blower to be fabricated and installed by the shipyard. After completion of the work blower to be tried out to the satisfaction of ship staff. Removal and refitting of any structures/electrical connections required for removal blower and to and fro transportation of associated items from vessel are under yard scope. CO2 Flooding system - Recommendation by SHM during 10 yearly routine maintenance. The scope includes, 1. Renewal of Pilot loop lines ¼” copper tube for CO2 cylinders are fatigued to be replaced with flexible tubes. Quantity 18 Nos. 2. Master valve to main engine & auxiliary engine room valve is leaking. Both valves to be renewed. All materials ae under ship yard scope.
Fuel oil sampling points to be provided on both sides of bunker manifold. (for taking representative samples of the fuel oil being used onboard the ship in accordance with MEPC.1 Circ.864/Rev.1 is to be fitted for compliance with MARPOL annex VI, Reg 14.11 adopted vide IMO Res.MEP.324(75) )
Sewage Treatment Plant - Make: DETEGASA, Model: DELTA PR-540. The Scope includes, STP Tanks to be opened up, ventilated, gas freed, man entry permitted, cleaned, and presented for survey; Complete maintenance to be carried out and apply two coat of epoxy paint - Volume 8.47 Cum; All air lines / valves and other associated system lines to be checked and defective items to be renewed; STP’s chlorine dosage pump solenoid to be renewed; No.1 air blower motor to be overhauled. If any internal shorting found, the motor to be rewinded; Both air blower to be overhauled and new carbon blade to be provided; STP’s electrical control panel to be serviced and defective components to be renewed and secured; Both air compressors motors protection system to be upgraded to either current monitoring relay or other relevant type of motor protection relay. Fitment of new 30 Ton Derrick winch motors. (For Slew, Topping up and runner Motor) - MAKE: BEN BUCHELE - MODEL: KDKF 225M, 38kw,66A, 415v, 3ph, 4 speed. The scope includes ship supplied new motors to be fitted for slew, runner and top up winch; New compatible type electrical control panel to be provided with all motor safeties. Necessary modification and connections to be given and satisfactory operation of all three motors and safeties to the satisfaction of ship staff. Buoy chain capstan Motor - Make: Ben Buchele, 415volt, 3 phase, 20 kw. The Scope includes Ship supplied new motor to be fitted in place; Drive coupler sleeve to be removed from old motor and fitted on new motor; Electrical control panel to be serviced. All main contactors and control contactors, control transformer’s and relays are very old. All items to thoroughly inspected and defective parts to be serviced / renewed; Necessary modification and connection to be given and satisfactory operation to be shown to ship staff. Group F - Electrical equipments:The works pertaining to Generators / Alternators to be executed in consultation with OEM.The Yard/Bidder shall engage the OEM to execute the job at the satisfaction of IRS Surveyor/ship staff.The rate shall inclusive of all spares,cost of OEM Engineers,Transportation of spares and associated charges complete Duty exemption certificate will not be issued by DGLL.However the rate shall be quoted exclusive of customs duty,GST on Customs duty,but inclusive of insurance,Freight charges,cost of local clearing and forwarding,bank charges,cost of transportation including landed onboard and other overhead chareges,etc.The custom duty and GST on custom duty for the imported spares shall be reimburshed by DGLL as per actual on production of proof of payment made by the contractor.
Main generator - make: Taiyo, Capacity: 600 KVA 415 v 50 Hz. - Main generators are to be fully overhauled / serviced. The scope includes, Rotor has to be taken out from the alternator. Main stator and exciter winding has to be cleaned thoroughly with vacuum and electro solve chemicals. Insulation varnish has to be applied as per norms and dry out the stator winding in the Oven. After completion of overhaul, Insulation resistance has to be measured and recorded for both stator and exciter windings; Bearings and oil seals to be renewed; Generators are to be presented for CSM survey. Air gap of all Main alternators to be taken and recorded After the overhauling satisfactory operation (including paralleling and load sharing) to be shown the satisfaction of the ship staff. The scope includes taking out the generator out of the ship, if any cutting on hull, removal and refitting of machineries, disconnecting and reconnection of electrical cables, support, staging etc. are comes under the yard scope. MSB & ESB – Make – Marine Electricals - MSB & ESB switchboard 30 monthly routine maintenance to be carried out. Any defective components to be replaced. The scope includes, all protection of Alternators & MSB safeties to be tried out. Step down Transformers - Following transformers to overhaul, Insulation resistance to be recorded before and after overhauling. a) Main transformers in electrical workshop (30KVA x 415v/240volt) - 4 Nos. and b) Emergency transformer in emergency generator room (16KVA x 415/240 volt) - 2 Nos. The scope includes, all terminals, fuses and connections are to be inspected and tightened. All defective components to be replaced. All material under shipyard scope.
The following Motors are to be overhauled and shown to IRS surveyor. Motors to be overhauled with new bearing (SKF) and seal; Stator winding has to be thoroughly cleaned with Electro clean; Insulation varnish should be applied on the stator windings and dry out in the oven; Check the PTC thermistor and space heater (wherever applicable), renew if defective; If any of the motor winding found earthing / burn t/ internally shorted, same need to be rewound; If any of the motor cooling fan (plastic) found defective / missing, same need to be renewed; If any mechanical defect (ie: bearing housing worn out in the motor end covers/heavy scoring in the motor shaft where bearing seats) same need to be attend. All sensors to be checked, cleaned & defective sensors and Manual call points to be renewed. Fire detector panel’s all alarms (24-volt failure, wire break / sensor fault, fire and smoke detection) to be tried out and shown to ship staff. At least one spare detectors of each type to be provided as spare. Manual call point – make; Fulleon – 02 nos, Heat detector – Make: Hochki, Model: DCD AE3M, supply voltage : 9.5 – 30 v DC- 02 Nos,Smoke Detector – Make Appolo, Model: series 56, Supply voltage 9 to 30 vDC- 02 Nos. Bridge window wiper – Make: Jung A Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. - Type: Straight line type., Model: WSI-H1-V-PI, series-801 Bridge window wiper non-operational and drive unit is damaged. New wiper to be fitted in place with same make or any other reputed brand. Procuring and fitment under shipyard scope.
