Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Non-illuminated Airfield signages at Aligarh Airport

Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Non-illuminated Mandatory / Information Operational Area Guidance Sign Boards (such as Runway Location/Designation Signage, Runway Vacation Sign, VOR Checkpoint Signage, Runway Exit Sign, Road Holding Position Sign, etc.) of various sizes suitable for Aerodrome Reference Code 2B, conforming to ICAO Annex-14 specifications. The signage shall be made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet with information pasted on the front side using self-adhesive 3M HIP retro-reflective sheet. The aluminium sheet shall be fixed to the back support frame made of aluminium extrusion using aluminium alloy rivets.The work shall include the provision of base plates with frangible couplings for mounting 50 mm dia anodized, powder-coated aluminium pipe legs (minimum two or as required) on existing concrete pedestals using M10 anchor bolts and painting of the rear surface of the aluminium sheet with two or more coats of epoxy paint over an appropriate priming coat, complete in all respects as per technical specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of extra base plates suitable for fixing frangible couplings for mounting 50 mm dia aluminium pipe legs, including all necessary hardware such as nut bolts etc., complete in all respects as per site requirement.

Supply of extra frangible couplings suitable for fixing over the base plates for mounting 50 mm dia aluminium pipe legs complete as required.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. (a) Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for : (a) Foundations, footings, bases for columns

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : (a) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) Note: This item shall be executed for the construction of pedestal for fixing/installing the signages.
