CERTAIN REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT OF WINDOW, VENTILATORS, RAILING WORK IN MARRIED AND OFFICE BUILDING IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-II UNDER GE (ARMY) SURATGARH AT SURATGARH MIL STN

Notes:- (i) 100 percent nonperishable items of the work shall be deposited by the L1 bidder within 30 days after placing of work order. (ii) The critical path network shall be submitted by L1 bidder immediately after the acceptance of tender and approved by GE. (iii) The bidders must ensure to visit the site, check relevant documents and makes of materials required to be incorporated under the subject from concern Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) Material obtained from demolition/dismantled and the serviceable material (other than reused in the work) shall be the property of the Govt and shall be removed and deposited in the MES Store Yard without any extra cost to Govt. (v) In case of non-availability of any make mentioned under list of Makes, the L1 Bidder shall obtain non-availability / non-manufacturing certificate from the concern OEM / authorised dealers and submitted to Accepting Officer, the L1 bidder may be incorporated Group-I category makes as approved by HQ CE SWC Jaipur / HQ CE BTZ in the works after prior approval of Accepting Officer. (vi) L1 Bidder shall produce E-way bill alongwith test certificate from OEM / manufacturer for costly items / major items of amount above Rs 50,000/- along with RAR’s and Final Bill. (vii) L1 Bidder shall be maintained an album containing Photos of all the material brought at site and each stage wise work progress and kept at site. Same shall be deposited in Engineer-in-Charge office after completion of work. (viii) The cost of all the above provisions shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of bidder, nothing extra shall be paid to the bidder.

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down steel window / ventilator of any description and of any type with or without guard bars and making good the disturbed portion complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster on stone surface/brick surfaces of walls including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) including demolition of brick work, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour casement (Openable) window area exceeding 1.00 sqm but not exceeding 2.00 sqm each made of extruded profiles with wall thickness of 2.3mm ( + – 0.2mm). Window profile with hollow section with multi chamber, frame (60mm x 58mm), sash (60mm x 73mm), T profile (One vertical length in between two shutters) (60mm x 74mm), Glazing bead (35mm x 20mm) will be mitered cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware and drainage of water etc., making arrangement for fixing of hardware. EPDM gasket 1.2 +– 0.2mm thick, galvanized steel Frame (28mm x 21.5mm), sash (31mm x 27.5mm). T profile (27mm x 17mm) to be inserted in required profile, frame will be fixed to the wall with 8 mm x 100mm long fasteners. Hardware: [casement handle made of zinc alloyed (white powder coated), But Hinges of'zinc alloyed (white powder coated), transmission gear made of mild steel with multi point locking system]. Note: The unit rate quoted by contractor excludes cost of glass and includes all other connected accessories. Net opening will be measured for payment purpose.

Supply and fixing factory made uPVC white colour fixed glazed window/ventilator made of (small series) frame 47 x 50 mm mullion 47 x 68 mm both having wall thickness of 1.9 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead of appropriate dimension (Area upto 0.75 sqm.) comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame and mullion (where ever required) extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, G.I. fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, mullion (if required) shall be also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Glass shall be paid separately). Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Supply and fixing factory made uPVC white colour Three track three panels sliding window with fly proof S.S wire mesh (Two nos. glazed & one no. wire mesh panels) upto 1.50m height made of (big series) frame 116 x 45 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. (Area of window above 1.75 sqm) comprising of uPVC multi chambered frame, with inbuilt roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, wool pile, zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook, zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight bearing capacity to be 40 kg), G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. S&F as in repair double action floor spring hydraulically regulated made up of minimum 1.25mm thick aluminium alloy sheet foundation box, main body with stainless steel cover, governing pivot made of brass, other parts made out of mild steel heavy duty & fixed (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F as in repair stainless steel wire cloth 0.63mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with tinned tacks or stainless steel wire staples complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F aluminium alloy wire cloth, 0.45mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with aluminium wire staples

M&L for brass mortice lock set with handles 175mm and 6 lever locking mechanism complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, cooler stand 12mm sq guard bar, framework of water tanks and similar works of quality Fe 290 (Gde E-165) etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (where ever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Drawing for the same is enclosed with tender documents.

S&F anodised aluminium frames for doors, windows, ventilators with one or more rebates including jointing cleats for fixing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) for shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge

S&F Anodised aluminium grill (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design/pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre, including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium standard section around the opening, all complete as per requirement and direction of Engineer in-charge

M&L for 18-20mm thick Granite (Z Black type south) slab of approved shade as in cooking platforms, steps, jambs, pillars, window cills and the like etc, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match with shade of Granite stone including cutting, grinding and polishing (mirror polish i.e. full granite polish as per local trade practice) over & including 15mm thick screed bed (bedding layer) in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The exposed edges of granite stone slab shall be made full round & polished to mirror finish and rate quoted shall deemed to include this provision.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on fair face surface of brick masonary or concrete surface of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faced surface of brick masonary or concrete surface of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of walls & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint over a coat of cement base primer and filling cement based putty in cracks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of new plastered and unplastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of appropirate primer over and including 2mm thick layer of ready made wall care putty including sand papering after filling the putty to make surface smooth and ready for receiving painting complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F 5.5mm thick sheet glass ordianary quality glazing with neoprene/ EPDM rubber gasket in squares, area exceeding 0.50 Sqm in each pane area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .
