REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS, LT PANELS UNDER AGE E/M-II OF GE (N) MAMUN

Maintenance and servicing of DG sets (any make, type and capacity) including replacement of defective/burn out parts by new spares such as replacement of oil, oil filter, air filter, fan belt, hosepipe, checking turbocharger, oil leakage, tightening of mounting screws & nuts, gaskets, V-belts, cleaning of oil sump, refilling and top up of oil, coolant, wornout clamps, checking inlet & Exhaust manifold cap, screws, fan hub & water pump, complete control wiring inlcuding electrical connections, On/Off switch, nut and bolts, cleaning of alternator with vaccum cleaner, greassing of bearing, cleaning of radiator fins using blower, inside tank with solution (caustic soda with water), trial & testing etc complete to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge, for the following capacity DG sets :- Note :- (1) Supply only of spares/parts required for maintenance shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ (2) All the checks of DG set (as per menufacturer's instructions) shall be got carried out by the contractor to the satisfaction of Engineer in Charge. Contractor's quoted rates shall deemed to be included this fact into account and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (3) The DG set shall be tested on load (30 minuts) as per rated capacity for the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- Charge.

Supply only rubber hose pipe of any size set with clamp suitable for following capacities of DG sets

(a) DG set of 50 to 63 KVA of any make any type

(b) DG set of 75 to 160 KVA of any make any type

Supply and fixing copper cable multi stranded (set of two- red & black cable) suitable for 12/24 volts battery, replacing the same with of existing size and equal length complete, fixed with new brass terminals at both ends including taking down of old from the existing battery as directed complete.

Supply of engine oil (filling in /toping up of engine oil) multi grade 20-W-40 in engine complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of defective alternator, any capacity from the existing foundation and from Engine after removing all electrical connections, transporting to approved/authorised/ directed workshop, opening and taking out burnt winding, cleaning the stator assembly rewinding with super enameled copper wire as per existing gauge, applying insulating varnishing of ‘F’ class, baking in oven re-assembling the alternator, transporting back to site, re-installing in same position, carrying out alignment of complete DG set, making/ connecting up all electrical connections, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note : - (a) Contractor's quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of all minor accessories i.e sleeves, nut bolt, washers etc, making good the disturbed surfaces. (b) The Alternator shall be tested on load as per rated capacity for the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F push button for self starter /or Key arrangement for starting DG set as per sample complete all as specifed and directed.

S & F door hinges for canopy of any capacity of DG set door including nut, bolt, drilling of hole, welding as per directed complete all as specifed and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair battery terminals brass, suitable for 95 AH to 180 AH battery ( as per sample) complete all as specifed and directed.

Dismantling the radiator assembly from the DG set of 50 KVA to 160 KVA capacity carefully for necessary repair, cleaning properly, soldering cooling tube if found weak/leakage, replacement of nuts, bolts, rubber mounting bushes etc, refixing at the same position including testing complete all as specifed and directed.

S & F in replacement connecting and commissioing lead acid battery 12 volts 180 AH complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L for providing new AVR unit suitable for 50 KVA to 160 KVA DG Set including taking down of old AVR unit, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old unserviceable Diesel/oil pressure pipewith brass nozzle/brass terminal of existing size and replacing the same with new of existing size and equal length suitable for 50 KVA to 160 KVA DG Set including hose clamps, etc acomplete all as specified and as directed.

S &F in repair asbestos rope 12 mm dia of superior quality for wrapping with the exhaust pipe of the DG set complete (as per sample) complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the defective self starter assembly of 12/24 volts, necessary repair with replacement of defective spares such as, carbon brushes with spring, bearing, bushes, defective burnt wiring and soldering after repair, re-assembling and refixing at site including testing complete all as as directed.

M & L for opening the cylinder head of the engine and oil sump carefully for replacement of head gasket, piston ring, compression ring, piston, crank shaft including sump gasket complete refixing the head and sump to arrest oil leakage with engine complete with proper alignment and testing the engine on load to achiveve designed parameters all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge of capacity 50 KVA to 160 KVA.

Supply and filling in coollant (as per manufacturer's recommonded grade) in engine complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of Diesel pipe suitable for existing size of 50 KVA to 160 KVA DG Set including both side hose clamp, etc complete.

S & F battery charging unit industrial type floor mounted heavy duty, with steel enclousure, volt meter, Ammeter, Toggle switch, charger ON0OFF switches suitable for charging 2 Nos of lead acid battery 12-24 V DC (20 Amp) out put type and suitable for 230 Volts incoming AC supply all as specified and directed

S & F in repairs change over switch 4 pole 415 volts 50Hz front handle operate type of capacity 400 Amps (On load open execution) with encloser 2mm thick CRCA sheet powder coated weather proof fixed on MS angle frame bedded in PCC 1:2:4 etc with earth work including necessary spreaders/cable lugs/nut, bolt and washers if required complete all as specified and directed

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6mm buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers etc and connected to and including GI strip of size 25x4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of brass and protected by light grade 40mm dia GI pipe connected to equipments and GI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover 50mm thick and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type C2 (including excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre) and testing after completion all as specified and shown on plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 making test point and all connections complete all as specified & directed.

S & F in repairs Galvanised iron strip 25x4 mm buried in ground/fixed on walls/ceilings by using suitable size GI saddles etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs phase Indicator Lamps (LED type) showing R,Y, B phase (as per sample) complete all as specified and directed .

S & F in repairs change over switch 4 pole 415 volts front operate type of capacity 250 Amps (On load open execution) including necessary spreaders/cable lugs/nut, bolt and washers if required complete all as specified and directed

S & F in repairs of 3 pole power Contactor AC control 150 Amp capacity complete including fixing arrangement all as direcetd.

S & F in replacement smart integrated solar street light 20W including galvanised steel pole (50mm dia GI pole length not less then 6 Mtr) inb built in Mono Crystalline panel, Lithium Ferro Phospate battery, MPPT charge controller and PIR sensor with colour Temperature including necessary fixing arrangement by providing with necessary nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs of Mild steel Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment cut to required shape and size for cable duct or any other description and including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Charges for attending break down of DG set of 50 to 160 KVA capacity for fault finding incl attending repairs as and when required such as No start condition of DG and repairing, starting the DG set till smooth running and setting up the alignment/ required parameters of all major parts such as fan belt, AVR, RPM, sensors, actuators, Engine sagety units, bty chargers, AMF relays, fuel/ oil levels, speed governer, micro processor based control panel, Injector pumps etc as required in ground as orderby Engineer-in-Charge all as directed.

M&L in replacement providing new rectifier diode unit suitable for 50 KVA to 160 KVA DG Sets as sample, size in repairs including taking down of old rectifier unit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix electrical insulation rubber mating ISI marked and size 1 m x 2 m x 6 mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs MCCB 4 Pole, 250 Amp, adjustable over load and short circuit with Micro processor release setting, 50 kA at 415V, 50Hz, complete all as specified and direcetd.
