SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROADS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS UNDER GE(AF) BAMRAULI

Preparing of existing old black top or bituminous macadum surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 Kg per ten square metre complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal,spreading, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified.

M&L 75 mm or less consolidated thickness premix bituminous macadam using binder paving bitumen grade VG-30 at the rate of 4% of total mix weight by using Hot mix plant for mixing and mechanical paver for laid/rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Work shall be executed as per approved design mix from NABL Govt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE. (ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

M&L Providing bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG-30 and filler of cement @2% , using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Work shall be executed as per approved design mix from NABL Govt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE.Cement shall be used as fillar at minimum 2% by weight of total mix. In case of variation in the mix design in the percentage of fillar content on plus side, nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 1.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like in white/yellow shade on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Road marking work shall be carried out in accordance with manufacture's instructions and as specified. (ii) Refer MORTH specification of Para 803.4.2.1 and 800.4.2.2 on bituminous surface in white colour or yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 and MORTH specification Para 803.4.3.3

S&F in replacement of cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions including fixing arrangement complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Dark eye or Greenlite as approved.

S&F in replacement of solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one Nl-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10.000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions complete all as specifed and as directed. Make:- Dark eye or Greenlite as approved.

S&F in replacement of metal delinator having size 1100mm longX 100mm X 20mm mild steel rectangular (medium grade) powder coated and pasted with twin colour reflective tape strips embedded in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggrgate of size 200mmx200mmx200mm including necessary excavation and earth work on various locations having weight 2-3 Kg complete as per manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Dark eye or 3M as approved.

S&F in replacement of Traffic Mirror (Convex) 800mm dia, made out of ABS or Fibre or Plastic body fixed in position with mild steel post of 75mm dia with 6mm thick mild steel base plate 100mm dia, 1.0 M high embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in block of size 300mmx300mmx600 mm duly anchored in ground on various location 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 and applying three coat of white wash including preparation of surface and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to exposed surfaces of mild steel surfaces with imported outdoor Polycarbonate convex mirror of 800mm diameter with 130 degree plus actual viewing angle equipped with adjusting swivel and mounting bracket for infinite adjustment.complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Dark eye cat part No CM/04(1) or equivalent as approved

S&F in repairs rumble strips made up of ABS plastic PU material rubber and black and yellow colour of size 500mmx375mm X50mm anti resistance moisture and temperature including fixing using achor bolts and epxoy mortar grout complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Dark eye cat part No DA-1008 or equivalent in 3M as approved
