Development of lawn including 150mm digging and levelling the surface of the earth, area cleaning, collection, (supply if mentioned below) & planting Korean grass of good quality including conveyance, cost of korean grass and plants etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Trimming road side tree branches gives hindrance to road side and along the compound wall, including cutting, collecting and disposing the trimmed branches at places shown by departmental Engineer (In IGCAR Plant site fallen trees shall be disposed to the disposal yard through the CTS gate) with all lead complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes of tree branches.

Providing and laying the following sizes PVC water supply line with Finolex / Varun / Truebore or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6 kg/sq.cm pressure and specials conforming & marked to IS:4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reducers, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tail pieces, caps etc., and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Planting the plants / saplings in required site taken from nursery, including formation of pits, spreading & filling of red earth and farm yard manure to an average thickness of 50mm, conveyance from nursery, planting and initial watering all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The rate shall excluding the cost of red earth and farm yard manure used for planting operation which will be paid under relevant item.

Rectifying the PVC / CPVC / UPVC pipe line burst of the following dia of water line by removing the damaged portion of PVC pipes, replacing with new pipes and restoring the water supply including cutting the damaged pipes, cleaning / scrubbing the surface, fixing the new pipe with necessary solvent cement of approved make etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost for pipe and specials will be paid separately under relevant item.

40mm to 50mm OD

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area (Non- sprinklers area) by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate as mentioned in specification will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 1500 sq. m /day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. Cutting plants should be handed over to nursery for sampling by the contractor as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 8. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours.

Supply and spreading of Fertilizer (urea), neem cake including cost of fertilizer and neem cake etc., all as per specification for Orchard plants / trees at the rate of 0.01kg/Sqm for fertilizer and 0.005kg/Sqm of neem cake, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides / growth regulators in the lawn area and hedges by sprayer etc., including cost of collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides /growth regulators etc., all as per specification.

Conveying the surplus excavated earth & debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for 1st 1 kilometre or part thereof

Levelling, bull-dozing the heeped / dumped loosened earth / debris etc., by hiring JCB / Bull-dozer etc., including transporting, operating the vehicle, operating the vehicle by engaging driver/operator with valid driving license, diesel charges, insurance and admissible taxes, labour if any required etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Clearing light jungle area of all kinds of shrubs, bulb weeds, grass, small plants, branches including cutting all unwanted plants, branches, twigs, wild growth, thorny leaves etc. complete, and disposing the same as place specified by Engineer, transporting at contractors own cost complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The unwanted cut bulb weeds, wild grass, unwanted vegetation are to be periodically collected and transported to dumping yard. During execution period any damages shall be rectified to the original at contractor cost. The measurement for payment shall be taken prior to cut the jungle and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include the cost of labour, transportation, loading, and unloading at dumpyard or place as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal and uprooting of tree roots with necessary excavation, cutting the lateral roots, conveying the uprooted tree roots at the places as directed including filling the excavated pits all as per specification - Upto a Girth of 600mm.

Supplying and fixing the following dia. of PVC specials of make Finolex / Truebore or other approved equivalent make with ISI mark suitable for class III PVC pipe (6Kg/Sq.cm) including transporting, unloading at work site etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and planting of following plants/saplings of good quality & healthy appearance with blooming nature etc., including excavation, transportation, planting, refilling with suitable excavated soil mixed with red earth, manure or sludge as directed (cost of red earth, manure or sludge to be paid separately under relevant item) and initial watering all as per standard practice complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The plants having 30cm to 60cm height (unless otherwise mentioned below), well developed, fresh and healthy nature.
