REPAIR/ RESURFACING TO ROAD AT TATTOO GROUND AND HAFT CHINAR UNDER GE 970 EWS

Repair to potholes, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 (60/70 grade) @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete using binder (Bitumen) VG-30 @ 5% by weight of total mix mixed in automatic hot mix plant, well rammed & rolled, depth of potholes exc 30mm, rolling and making good to match existing road surface etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note : 1. Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @ 5 % of total mix by weight. However in case of any variation in weight of binder as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted @ Rs. 60/- per Kg of bitumen.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and thickness exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep, complete all as specified and directed.

Premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 50mm to 75mm) laid /rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using binder content VG-30 @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for 75mm thick (Compacted thickness)WBM, with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3(50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8 to 12 tone power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of WBM/BM surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tone power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @ 5.5 % of total mix by weight. However in case of any variation in weight of binder as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted @ Rs. 60/- per Kg of bitumen.

Thermoplastic road marking paint not less than 2mm thick, white or golden yellow in colour, conforming to BS-6088, in lines, arrow, dashes & letters, applied hot, using application unit and retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gm/Sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacture's instructions etc including racking out/ removing existing paint complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian/STP Ltd/Automat/3M.

S&F in repair acrylic dual directional delinator having 100mm dia cube corner height intensity reflector (signal red/yellow/white) held in strong ABS plastic body mounted over CRC steel tube 47mm dia of 16 gauge sheet support of total height 600mm having flared/welded foot for firm grip to base. Acrylic reflector and ABS body procted in a welded mesh cage. All steel parts stove enamelled and baked to 120°C or powder coated to make all weather resistant. vertical support tube to have a plastic sheet reflector all around and embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B2 block of size 30x30x30 cm including necessary earth work in replacement of damaged reflector complete all as specified and directed. Make : Greenlite CAT Part No. GPL11-01 (600mm high) or equivalent of 3M/SINOR/ dark eye, as approved by GE.

S&F in repair dual directional speed breaker having high intensity cube corner reflector ultrasonic welded to high impact resistant ABS plastic body of colour yellow and black of size 250x345x50mm (height) provided with 4 steel nails. Shape of side body to have interlocking pattern to keep all speed breakers in row complete all as specified and directed. Make : Greenlite CAT Part No. GPL 07-06 or equivalent of 3M/SINOR/ dark eye, as approved by GE.

Dual directional reflective cat eye of aluminium casted stud 100x100mm having 3 round plastic ABS discs containing 21x2=42 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/ Red/ Yellow a side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12mm of length 120mm for fixing to road by hammering, including taking out unserviceable/broken cat eye of any description etc complete all as specified and directed Make : Greenlite Cat Part No : 01-01 or equivalent of 3M/SINOR/ dark eye, as approved by GE.
