Mechanized cleaning of canteen drainage lines, sewer lines, storm water lines and all interconnecting lines between the chambers of various depths and removing muck, solids from manholes /Inspection chambers/septic tanks/collection wells of Canteen and toilets within the BARC premises & BARC Hospital, by high quality truck mounted Jetting cum Suction machine (Single vehicle for both operations) of minimum 6000 litres capacity and disposing off the same at the designated site within the BARC premises or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The quoted rate shall include providing manpower such as one driver, operator & helper (3 nos.) with tools, all PPE's and all safety equipments required to carry out the job. Note: (1)Pumping arrangements for water shall be made by contractor at his own cost. Water for jetting will be provided by department. (2)The jetting cum suction machine vehicle shall work 8 (eight) hours and 30 (Thirty ) minutes per day basis with 30 (Thirty ) minutes of break, inside the BARC premises and the hours will be calculated after reaching at working place, site, representative buildings etc. Parking space will be given at the time of continuous work condition with prior approval from competent authority. (3) All PPE's and all safety equipments are to be arranged by the Contractor at his own cost. (4) Payment shall be made according to hours calculated per vehicle on pro-rata basis. Also, in case of emergency night duty working hours, payment will be paid on pro-rata basis only and no extra payment shall be done. (5) In case emergency viz. if there is severe chockage at multiple locations, separate vechicle shall be arranged on the same day to carry out the work. (6) In case of failure of vehicle during cleaning operation, alternate vehicle shall be arranged by the contractor without any delay. (7) BARC being a strategic Organisation, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid PVC, driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. (8)The make and model of the vehicle should be of not more than 8 years old, roadworthy all valid documents. (9)The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically and always with tyres of good condition. (10)The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. (11)The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. (12)The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. (13)The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, but excluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). (14)The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. (15)The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. (16)No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract.

Supply of unskilled manpower for carrying out emergency pumping operations like dewatering in flood prone areas during monsoon with necessary tools,PPE's etc. and minimum two numbers of labour per day upto maximum any numbers of labours as directed by Project Engineer to work for eight hours per day.(Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis) . Note: Dewatering pumps,pipes,electrical connection, MCB etc. will be provided by department.

Core cutting in RCC beyond 100 mm up to and including 150 mm Dia

Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having minimum SSC with Trade certificate in Masonary/Plumber/Carpenter/Painter Trade of less than one year duration from ITI/Government Recognised Vocational Training Institute or experienced Technician retired from Government service. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job as single Day work for 6 working days per week for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the technician will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per day as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis per day. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Technician exclusively for the particular job. (5) The Technician should be engage after scrutiny of by EIC of CED,BARC and approved by Competent authority and deployed by competent authority and the deployed technician will report to BARC Engineer/EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of technician is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation , for not providing technical support, Rs. 1247/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on contractor.

Dismantling and demolition of existing closed underground RCC drain roof slab of various sizes carefully cooling tower, etc. by using DUST FREE DIAMOND WIRE SAW CUTTING / WALL SAWING / SUITABLE BLADE CUTTING SYSTEM with remote operation arrangements. Lowering the cut slabs carefully without damaging adjacent structures using suitable capacity cranes, stacking of unserviceable materials at designated locations inside the plant premises upto a lead of 2 km as per the the drawings and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement shall be as per cutting cross sectional area of RCC structures only) ( Crane required for cutting operation and lowering of slab will be paid under relevant item) Note: 1. Pneumatic/Electric breaker/chipper shall not be used for breaking of RCC and other components of slab. 2. The quoted rate shall include for all tools & Tackles, Providing hooks to handl the cut slab, core cutting, equipment's, machinery, consumables, gas cutting, welding, scaffolding, temporary support systems,& dismantling at any height, safety arrangements as per BARC requirements. 3. Height of the terrace slab from the Finish Floor level. is 10.50 m (approx.). 4. No material from slab cutting shall be allowed to be taken outside BARC. 5. The volume of debris shall be calculated on slab sizes and measurement will be paid for same quantity. 6. Structural steel scaffolding is compulsory for whole slab bottom and it shall not be measured separately for payment. 7. Only RCC slab cutting area shall be measured for payment. 8. Minimum slab area cutting should not be less than 1.2 SqM.
