Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, (fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets etc. to be measured separately), removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody for re-use at site/Sch of credit and making good disturbed surface of walls, floors, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Point wiring complete with HRFR PVC insulated unsheathed , 1100 V grade conforming to IS 694 , 1.5 Sqmm (Norminal area) multistranded , copper conductor cable drawn through in stove enamelled steel conduit medium grade , minimum 20 mm dia conceled in wall , ISI Marked, and connect accessories, concealed/mounting on suface of walls / ceilings /roofs etc including provision of HRFR PVC insulated unsheathed 1.5 Sqmm muiltistranded green colour copper conductor cable as earth connectivity and connecting to common earth dolly for One light point controlled by one way one switch SP 5 Amp, 240 Volts complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement of switch flame proof rotary type with termination box in LM6 , 16 Amps , single pole 240 volts complete all as specified.

M&L in replacement of concealed sub main wiring with multistranded FR copper conductor cable PVC sheathed in and including concealed suitable PVC conduit with two runs of 6.0 Sqmm and one run of 4 Sqmm FR copper conductor as earth wire and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (The work includes cutting of Chasis and making good the disturbed surfaces).

M&L in replacement of concealed sub main wiring with multistranded FR copper conductor cable PVC sheathed in and including concealed suitable PVC conduit with two runs of 10.0 Sqmm and one run of 6 Sqmm FR copper conductor as earth wire and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. M&L for Re-fixing of tube light fitting of any capacity dismantled under Item No 1 above, to the same locations after repairing if required and making all necessary connections, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F as in repair Flame Proof MCB Distribution Box 8 way, 240 Volts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of old flamefroof light fitting in to Flame Proof LED tube light T-8 , 4 feet Tube light fitting with rod, clear cool white , 20 Watt, 240 Volts complete with accessories internally pre-wired and including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable of suitable size, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. S&F as in repair Flame Proof bulb fitting, 30 watt LED FLP well glass lamp, 240 Volts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking up old existing unserviceable GI earth plate with GI strip earthing and connected items upto test point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

M&L in replacement for plate earthing with copper plate 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm thick electrode and 25 x 3mm copper strip as earthing lead buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 4.0 m deep below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 3.25 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and including copper strip 25 x 3mm (with Brass nuts, bolts & check nuts with breezing) and connect to earth plate at one end and to test point other end providing watering pipe 50mm bore light grade from top end of plate upto 30cm above GL with top end plug/ cap including (30 x30 x 30) cm PCC 1:2:4 flushing to GL. 40mm bore GI light grade protection pipe to strip complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and RCC cover) complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I. The 50mm dia watering pipe shall be drilled 03 Nos 5mm dia hole above PCC block nearest to ground level to enter rain water in the pit complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : No joint in copper strip shall be accepted between earth electrode to test point. The single length copper strip shall be provided to earth plate to test point.

M&L, for maintenance free earthing complete with set of 04 earth electrode of UL Listed Tested for 250 micron copper bonded low carbon steel core of 3 meter long, 17.2mm dia buried directly in ground and tapered at the bottom (150-175 mm dia digging or auguring of earth to the required depth as specified and directed) along with a 20mm Dia. (b) For sites with the soil resistivity in between 21 to 50 Ohm mtr, the Earthing system shall consist of 7 Nos. vertical electrodes and 38 metres of copper strip of size 25 x 3mm in a ring with hub and spoke arrangement. (c) For sites with the soil resistivity in between 50 to 75 Ohm mtr, the Earthing system shall consists of 10 Nos. vertical electrodes and 50 metres of copper strip of size 25 x 3mm in a ring with hub and spoke arrangement.

Note: 1) Soil Resistivity test is mandatory for all the Earthing pit locations prior to start the work Under the approved make Engineers Guidence. 2) Earthing system shall be designed so as to achieve test result less than 1 Ohms depending upon the soil conditions for the minimum 5 Years under warranty with 35% Increment in Ohmic value only with same soil resistivity. 3) Copper strip to be extended upto the equipment and power room. It should be routed in the side wall of the under ground ducts fixed with ceramic/porcelain/PVC spacers and hot sleeves. 4) Ready made polymer chamber with cover of suitable size should be provided directly. 5) Copper strip should be of 20x3mm as directed above. 6) Authorized manufacturer certificate is mandatory for same.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall / roof and connecting air termination to test point with 20 x 3 mm copper strip including taking down existing aluminium/GI strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge . Note :- (i) Laying / fixing of strip from air termination to test point shall be in one run i.e. there shall be no joint in between air termination. In case joint is required, it shall be jointed with nut & bolt joint with breezing full contact of strip. ii) Strip shall be fixed on insulator at the interval not more than 900mm in such a manner at any place it shall not touch to wall/ roof / any metalic body. (Cost of insulator shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items of Sch of works as supply only)

M & L for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze /brass size (75 x 75 x10) mm drilled and 3 nos brass screwed 8 mm dia ,10 mm long hex.head screw complete including GI fabricated test point box size 150mm x 100mm x 75mm height with front openable made out of not less than 0.6 mm thick PGI sheet including painting complete all as specified and as directed by engr- in charge.

Supply only porcelin viterous white/ brown/ green insulators of sizes 25mm x 25mm having provision of two holes for fixing on roof / wall under strip/ channel on top for running of down conductors to maintain gap between wall and down conductors etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for repair of earthing pit with brick work and PCC 1:3:6 including RCC pit cover of size 300x300mmx50mm thick with provision of opening handle complete including necessary watering, ramming and compact of soil near the earth pit complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge .

M & L for improvment of the earth resistance by using salt and charcoal and checking and measuring the earth resistance of earthing for lightening arrester and equipment earthing with earth resistance tester every months with compiling the following -: (a) Collecting the water from near by source and filling in earth pit before one day from checking the earth resistance.(80Ltr water and 05Kgs salt in each earthing) (b) Tightening of earth strip connection on test point and earth pit. (c) The earth resistance value of all earthing pit should be recorded in resister duly signed by JE E/M. (d) pouring salt and charcoal for improving the earth resistance.

Notes:- (a) The amount of Rs.1,07,125/- against Schedule of Credit on Page No. 103 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance.
