Clearing jungle uploading of tank vegitation grass brush wood,trees and sapling of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1.00 meter above ground and removal of rubish upto a distance of 20 meter outside the periphery of the area cleared upto 30 cm girth.

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all hights and depth, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil , ordinaryrock and hard rock with rock breaker including breaking rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution , etc. and to protect stabality of hill side . Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting / excavation , including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades , side slopes, width, chamber, super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in - Charges, in conformity with the requirement of techanical specification for Rural Road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation wodth including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut matereial inspecified manner,tremming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as dirrected by the Engineer-in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of useful stone that is nil cubic meter in all cases falling which recovery @ Rupees 300/- only (Rupees three hundereed only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earthwork in excavation for all type of roads, structures such as retaining wall, breast wall, culvert, drain and parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiesling / wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibeted) as per drawing and technical specification true to lines and grades. Dimesions and other particulars as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1606.1 (One six zero six point one) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all lead and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. All work of excavation by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosions, damage to hill side & any structure near about, water pollutions etc., and to protect stability of hill side rock. Stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable excavated materials in specified manners to dumping site(to be arranged by the contractor), trimming, filling of unevenness blindages and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of execution shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost of all cases.

Excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of earth work including spade work, pick work, jumper work blasting work including where blasting is prohibited and chiselling / wedging out of rock and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering whereever required upto all leads and lifts and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm. layer when required into plinths, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth to the dumping site through all mode of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means alongwith its leveling at dumping site and complete the work by mechanised means and labour ( If any required) further any loss of the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolutely responsibility of the contractor which shall have to duly compensated by him in all respect.
