Excavation of earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for Rural Roads August, 2004 (Two Thousand Four),C-1603.1, 1603.2 (Clause - One Thousand Six Hundred Three point One, One Thousand Six Hundred Three point Two) to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials by all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places. in specified manner, systematically with due consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions to the entire satisfaction as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth plying of traffic. All useful material such as stones, shingle, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side not less than 78.20 cubic metre ( Seven Eight Point Two Zero ) in all cases, failing which recovery at the rate of Rupees @ 300/ only (Rupees Three Hundred Only) Amounting to Rs. 23460/- ( Twenty Three Thousand Four Hundred & Sixty )only per cubic meter shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.including haulage of mateial with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work,jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohabited) and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering whereever required,settling out to required lines,levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer in charge at site according to the HP.PWD specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site (to be arranged by the contractor) including payment of prescribed dumping charges of M.C. if levilled any to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge through all modes of transporation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith its levelling, fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, mechineries, tools, equipment and safety measures and incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transporation and used/removed as per the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. any loss to the public and private properity during the course of execution and disposal of servicable and unservicable materials shall be the absolute responsiblity of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidential charges and as directed by the Engineer in Charge:- All kinds of soil.

Providing and laying stone soling hand packed Kharanja stone soiling filling earth or moorum in required gradient waterin etc. complete, including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring & shuttering-All work upto plinth level in cement concrete 1 : 6 : 12 (One cement : six coarse sand : twelve graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size ) including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge, including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Random rubble masonry/ polygonal rubble masonry (uncoursed/ brought to courses) with hard stone approved quality in foundation and plinth incuding levelling up cement concrete 1 : 6 : 12 ( One cement : six sand : twelve graded stone aggregate 20 mm ( twenty milimetre ) nominal size) in cement mortar1 : 6(One cement : six sand) in breast wall and retaining walls ), including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of dry rubble masonry in breast wall and retaining wall revetment walls and parapets etc., including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring & shuttering-All work upto plinth level in cement concrete 1 : 4 : 8 (One cement : four coarse sand : eight graded stone aggregate 40 mm ( forty milimetre ) nominal size ) including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone/ boulder of selected of hard stone of approved quality in filling behind retaining wall & under flooring, including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm ( three point fifteen millimeter ) thick welded with angle iron in frame 30X 30X5mm ( thirty X thirty X five millimeter ) so as to give a fair finish including centering ,shuttering, strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies , height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4.00 meters ( four meters ) and removal of the same for insitu- reinfoced concrete and plain concrete work including all leads and lifts of materials or as per the directions of Engineer in Charge.

Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts Circular including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
