M&L for five layer prefabricated atactic polypropylene polymer (APP) modified 3 mm thick membrance (weight not less 3 kg/sqm) reinforced with 160 gms polester non - woven fabric with scratched tool before finishing roof surface. When the concrete surface is still green, 10 mm thhick 1 : 4 cement plaster shall be laid on the roof surface shall be throughly wire brushed washed dried up and cleaned of all foreign matter and dust prior to the application of primer on the dried surface one coat of approved bituminous primer, having density in the range of 0.87 to 0.89 / kg at 25 degree and viscosting of 70 to 160 CPS manufactured by the same manufacturer @ 0.40 liters/sqm shall be applied. APP membrane shall be laid on primed surface tourch application method after allowing 24 hours of primer to dry. Laying of APP membrance shall be commenced at the lowest level and worked upto the crest. APP membrane will normally be laid in length at right angle to the direction of slope complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

The overlaps shall be of minimum 100 mm longitudinal direction and 150 mm on the transverse direction. All overlaps shall be bonded with bitumen primer and levelled by the heating the overlaps with brutane torch. This treatment shall be done by the approved authorised applicator. Guarantee of treatment shall be for 10 years. There arter App membrane shall be painting with two coat of water proofing paint with aluminium finish. Independent testing of membrane for the approval technical parameters specified herein after shall be carried out the approved laboratories like National test house or any other Govt approved laboratory having facilities for the testing of membrance NOTE : Quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for M & L for 10MM thick cement plaster (1 : 4)

M&L for 2 coat of aluminium paint incl preparation of newly or previously untreated surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth, not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cast iron work grade FG 150, unmachined, in brackets, gully traps, gratings, railing, frames, manhole covers and similar articles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing water proofing treatment to RCC sunken slab as specified and directed as under (a) cleaning the exisiting RCC sunken slab and vertical wall/RCC beam and hacking the surface (b) 15 mm thick plastering over the floor & vertical surface in CM 1:4, mixed with liquid water proofing compound @ 200 per 50 kg of cement trowelled to even and smooth finish without using extra cement (c) Filling the sunken portion with water for 72 hrs and carrying out the ponding test. (Any leakage/seepage noticed shall be repaired) (d) Applying two coats of elastometric acrylic water proof coating make : Dr Fixit of pidilite, Tapecrete from Cico or equivalent in sika as per sqm in each coat with roller application (Note: each coat of elastomeric acrylic compound requires 6-8 hrs to dry up itself second coat shall be applied on getting the first coat completely dired up. Min quantity required for coating as per manufacture instruction) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
