Design and Analysis of Pre-Cast Panelled Barrication Work
Preparing numerical analysis and design of permanent safety barrication system using input parameters of various physical and shear parameters from geotecnical investigation report. including preparation of construction drawings, detalied specification, construction methodology, material specification etc. IMS Building Site as specified by Engineer Incharge

Geotechnical Investigation
Making bore holes of 100 -150mm dia below existing soil ground surface upto minimum 35.0m depth or as required by auger drilling as per IS 1892 – 1979 through all type of soils or refusal strata whichever occurs earlier ( Refusal strata shall mean when SPT field ‘N’ value reaches 100 for 30 cm or less penetration of SPT sampler) and recording SPT, Collection of all samples etc for testing as per IS specification etc complete.

Execution of slope protection work including all labour, equipments, raw materials etc. complete
Removal of vegetation, bushes, shrubs in lower and upper section including stacking of useful material, disposing of material from hill slope within BARC area as directed by Engineer - in - charge.
Scrubbing loose boulders of any size on the surface, collecting the loose boulders at the bottom of slope including all lifts & machinery etc complete and disposing of material from hill slope within BARC area as directed by Engineer - in - charge.
(Toe Support upto 8 m maximum height) Providing, installing, fixing permanent earth retaining structure using Soldier piles /H-beams with waler beams, pre-cast concrete panels of required thickness with as per requirement weep hole with filter media, MS clamps or other suitable arrangement etc, strutting, shoring or using anchors for all lead, lift and depth including boring holes for soldier piles/ strutting structural members up to required depths and filling holes, embedding soldier piles below the ground level and casted with M25 grade concrete all as per approved structural design/ drawings, Particular specifications, IS :3764 (Excavation work - Code of Safety), and other BIS codes.Good well compacted earth shall be backfilled behind soldier piles (paid in relevant item) as per the drawing. Soldier Pile a) The embedded depth of pile shall be maximum up to 10 m or as per design b) Spacing of Piles is app 1.5m C/C 47 Nos Total.c) 750 mm Dia Piles with NPB 400 upto full depth. d) Max upto 7- 8 M Height of Permanent Earth Retaining Structure. e) Size of Precast Pannel for Compound wall/ Soldier Piling of ( 600 mm width x 120 mm thickness x 1400 mm long) Reinforcement shall be single layer # 16 mm both ways @ c/c 100 mm.f) The Weight of Structural Steel ( Vertical members is NPB 400,10mm thick ms plate for splicing of vertical members on web and on flange ) made of SAIL/RINL/TATA steel/JSPL/JSW/any other manufacturers confirming to IS 2062 required to be fabricated and fixed in Soldier Piles is approx 55-60 MT . The Cleat Angle 50mm x 50mm x 5mm for holding the precast pannel along the face of vertical beams installed exposed height of app 7 to 8 m is approx 1.5-2 MT. waler beams- Horizontal Members (2 nos NPB 250 at 3 m from Soldier pile top, MS Plate - 10 mm for Splicing on web and on flange) of Waller Beam with capacity to take 50 MT load of Anchor, Anchor at 3 m c/c spacing, total length of Anchor shall be 14 m length (8 m free length and 6 m fixed length used cement for Grouting of Anchors) including anchor bearing plate 450x450x60/20 mm thick with Stiffener Plates on both side of waller beam. All including weight approx 20 MT ( made of SAIL/RINL/TATA steel/JSPL/JSW/any other manufacturers confirming to IS 2062) HT Strands for Anchor (12.7 mm Thickness, 0.778 Kg per Rmt ), Total fabrication length of anchor 16m ( 14 m embeded and 2m exposed for stressing purpose ) IMPORTANT NOTE: The Schedule of Quantities Referred below is only limited for the purpose of assessing the quantum of work involved by the tenderers. It is not meant for subsequent measurement and payment in the course of execution of the work. Before submitting of tenders, the tenderer shall have to satisfy themselves that the quantities given in the tender documents for the various items and components of the work are correct. Defeciencies noticed, if any, should be immediately brought to the Notice of the Chief Engineer, BARC.The Contractor Shall execute the work as per drawings and specifications as given in Tender documents, and shall have no claim for any payment on account of deviations and variations in quantity of above item, unless they are authorized deviations from the parameters, drawings and specifications. Tenderer shall include all the Items as per Drawings even though the same is not mentioned above.
Providing and Painting with Epoxy P U paint using 2 coats of (120Micron dry film thickness)Epoxy P U high build coating as finishing coat over a priming coat of EPILUX-13 High Build primer of 50 micron thickness over steel surfaces at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer'specification s including peparation of surface by cleaning with wire brush and rubbing,scraping,applyings and paper,making free of Rust,dust,dirtetc.filling the holes,joint,cracks if any using epoxy putty complete.all as per manufacturers technical data and as directed at site to achieveminimum over all dryFilm thickness of 170micron (50Micron primer Coat + 120 micron finishing Coat). On STEEL surfaces.
Murum filling of specified thickness in layers of not more than 300mm thickness including supplying required materials and consolidation etc. complete (using murrum available at BARCcampus with a lead of up to 4 Km)
Removal of existing steel structures including credit for removal of Bounder Arrestor @ 80 Rm including cutting by gas welding and taking out all dismantled materials and taking away from BARC complex etc. all complete including mobilisation and demobilisation of manpower and all required T&P.
Drilling and installation of 32 mm dia. / Self Drilling Anchor up to designed depth and spacings as per approved specification and also including cost of MS plate of approved size, hexagonal nut & washer, epoxy coat, threading of anchor bar at one end and including cost of non shrink grouting of anchor with labour and all required machinery as per technical specification and as directed by Engineer - In - charge.
Supply of 32 mm dia tor steel bar of grade Fe 500 as per approved specification and make. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials
Supply of Self drilling bolts R32 having nominal OD of 32 mm and Nominal ID of 20 mm (+/- 1 mm) and minimum nominal weigth 2.7 kg/m of the specified length, having yield load >= 230 kN as per approved specification and make.
Providing and fixing Rhomboidal shaped Cable Panel/Net of 10 millimeter diameter of steel wire rope of size 300 millimeter x 300 millimeter with suitable connection at each intermediate and end junctions having minimum tear resistance of 15kN meeting the minimum requirements. Punch Strength of Rhomboidal Cable Panel/Net : 370 KN with max displacement of 33 cm. Each Rhomboidal cable Panel/Net shall be made of one single Cable including top and bottom support rope, lacing wire or rope required to connect the nets and all accessories such as U-clamps, turn buckles, thimbles, including safety, all other ancillary works, material, machinery, labour etc. complete as per detailed technical specifications attached and as directed by Engineer-incharge.
Providing and spreading steel wire grid/mesh Geo-composite grade of machanical woven double twisted hexagonal shaped steel wire mesh interlaced during manufacturing with 8mm steel rope in longitudinal direction at 3.0m spacing (mesh wire dia 2.7mm/3.7 mm heavily Zn+PVC coated type 10x12) including top and bottom support rope, lacing wire or rope required to connect the nets and all accessories such as U-clamps, thimbles, including safety, all other ancillary works, material machinery, labour, etc. complete the easily accessible location including top and bottom with all lifts, etc. complete as per technical specifications or equivalent or of higher specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and installation of dyanamic Rock fall barriers of 8600 kJ capacity corrosion protection barriers to make safe enviroment to work underneath the lossely placed boulders which include interception steel mesh - comprising of ring net/cable wire rope, threaded bolt anchor, ground plate with concrete foundation and reinforced with steel rods B450 C, HEA steel post (4m) with primary net, upstream cable with energy dissipating device, up hill wire rope anchor including non shrink grouting.
