REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF LIGHTENING PROTECTION SYSTEM EARTHING SYSTEM AND WATER HEATERS GEYSERS REPAIR MAINTENANCE TO CEILING FANS EXHAUST FAN WALL FAN AIR CIRCULATOR FAN ETC

Dismentling, Removing the existing disturbed/displaced Copper/Aluminium/GI strips of any sizes from the roof/wall of building, and keeping in a safe custody for taking credit or for re-using serviceable strips in the work complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable Copper/Aluminium/GI strips of any size as retrieved from taking down item by straightening, removing the kinks along the length and refixing the same with and including new porcelain insulators/saddles/screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Aluminium strip of size 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground level all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Care should be taken by using all safety devices to ensure safety while working.

Supply and fix in repairs copper strip of size 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Air Termination, single pointed Aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long including taking down old unserviceable air termination rod, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Test Point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexognal head screw all as directed .

M&L for demolition of existing earth chamber including removing the demolised material to the distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 mtr above the starting point and construction of new earth chamber only in same location as per Electrical plate No.3 as shown in SSR Part I 2009 (Section-19) on Page No. 497 inclding excavation on any type of soil, returning filling, removal of surplus material to a distance of 50 metere with specification PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for bed and chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for earth Pit cover 50mm thick with 8mm dia TMT bars at 140mm C/C bothways (instead of CI cover) with lifting handle and fixing of funnel complete with colour code all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for copper sulphate crystal industrial grade approx 97% of purity the chemical mixing in water as per direction, and pouring the solution in existing earth pits including necessary earth work reqd at site and cleaning of adjacent area of earth pit and check the earth conductive value after pouring of solution and submite the test results to Engineer - In - Charge complete all as directed. Note: (i) Total quantity brought by contractor shall be diposited in MES store. (ii) The locations of earthing pits and quntity CUSO4 to be poured shall be directed by Engineer-in-charge/JE (E&M)

M & L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.3 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to GI earth lead 4 mm wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts/bracing and washers all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removal and refilling of soil and funnel with wire mesh and GI watering pipe 20mm dia, Chamber in PCC 1:3:6, type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and 40mm thick cover in RCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars at 150mm c/c on both ways, with flush type handle with 16mm dia round bars and 15 mm dia GI pipe upto 7.5m for protection and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.
