a) Supply and delivery of Multi Jet brass water meter with removal mechanism confirming to ISO 4064 Class B or IS 779 Standards with type test certificates for Routine Test, IP 68 Test certificates issued by FCRI/NABL Accredited Lab. The water meter shall have magnetic or mechanical drivers or shall be versatile for installation in Horizontal position. The meters shall be hydrodynamically or hydrostatically balanced. The runner, runner chamber, pointers of the meter shall be as per ISO 4064 Class B specification. Dry dial excavated counter housing fully protected against flooding ensuring easy reading in all climatic conditions. The meters shall be inferential, Dry-Dial Type, Class B with straight reading Cyclometer with inbuilt filter basket, Meter body shall be of Brass body confirming to DCB2 material specifications and suitable for drinking water applications. The body shall be painted, or powder coated. | 1.01The process connections shall be screwed ends with BSP Threads. Each water meter shall be tested for a maximum pressure rating up to 16 Bar. Water meter shall be supplied with manufacturer Calibration & hydrotest certificate. The dimensions must comply to IS 779 standards and with 5 years warranty. (TWAD rate 2024-25 , WD-M1368). | |||||
| 1.02b)Supply and delivery of protection box of size 20cm x 30cm for fixing of Water Meter. The box should be rectangular base in construction and material of construction should be weather resistant polyethylene (PE) blue /black .Reinforcement rips should be provided at the walls of the box. Box should be at two components comprising body and lid. Lid should be press fitted to the body. No hinges should be used for opened /closed. Operation meter box should be provided with built in lock. The body as inlet and outlet windows to pass the pipe through suitable for use with pipes of sizes up to 1” .Base of the box should be designed in such a way .That the box can be installed to the floor/wall using anchor Bolts / screws without grouting the entire base of the meter Box .Provision for fixing Name plate showing the name of the Department etc., complete and as directed by the TWAD Board Officers.
