Construction of Chaura to Majhgaon road Km 0.000 to 24.400 HP.05.071

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area in all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock & hard rocks. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/ excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section 300 & 1600 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means and labour if required. During the mobilisation period, contractor should take the advanced x-sec in 15m interval of whole road length in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his representative. In case the advanced X-sec has been taken in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge representative, in that case the same has to be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account,filling of unevenness blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer in-charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or 3874.39 cum. (Three thousand eight hundred seventy four and point thirty nine) cubic metre at the rate of Rupees 300/- only (Rupees three hundred) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement including setting out, true to the lines, grades, width and side slopes in accordance with drawing including spreading the embankment material with motor grader in successive layer of in layer 200mm (two hundred millimetre) uniforms thickness and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 ( eight to ten) tonne static weight to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per MORD Technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits within all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading by mechanical means to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred) kN static roller to meet requirement of Table 300.2 complete as per MORD technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drain and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling/wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides, bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not executing 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing & Laying Filter media behind abutments, wing walls, return walls and retaining walls with granular material complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1200 and 1600 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated 1:4:8 (One Cement is to four sand is to eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (fortymilimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawing and MoRD technical specification rural roads section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 including carriage of materials upto all leadslifts and as per thedirection of Engineer-in- Charge.The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing weap holes in brick masonry/ stone masonry/ plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred milimetre) dia (inner dia) PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slop of 1(v);20 (H) towards drawing face complete as perdrawings and MoRD technical specificationssection 1200 and as per entire satisfaction, directin by Engineer-In-Charge and including carriage of materails within all leads and lifts.The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing and fixing drainage spouts complete with 100mm (one hundred millimeter) dia galvanized mild steel down pipe corrosion resistant structural steel grating complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1400 and as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidental . The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm (four millimetre) dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100mm x 100mm (one hundred millimetre into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% (ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 40kg (forty kilogram) each as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 1300 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate isincluding octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing and laying of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501.
