Dismantling of Thermax make, SM-10 model Steam Boiler of Laundry Plant at Lalla Ded Hospital, Srinagar. The job includes detachment of front doors and back door. The job includes cleaning of tubes, combustion chamber, and blower assembly from inside and outside. The cleaning shall be done thoroughly with wire brushes, dhoti cloth etc. The tubes shall then be subject to high pressure water spray. After cleaning, requisite repairs shall be carried out to the boiler including welding wherever required. The boiler shall then be reassembled and refitted using new fire seals of asbestos rope of suitable size and replacement of all defective nuts and bolts. The job includes providing of all consumables like wire brushes, tube cleaning brushes, dhoti cloth, steam jointing sheets, asbestos rope of two sizes, nuts, bolts etc.

Complete descalling of Steam Boiler using about 130 Kgs of Max Clean descalling compound of ‘Thermax’ make to be mixed with water filled in the boiler. This solution shall be given continuous circulation inside the boiler with the help of a pump as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. The contractor shall make his own arrangement for pump, piping, tank, etc., required for descalling. After descalling the boiler shall be washed thoroughly with water to remove all traces of acid. The job includes hydraulic pressure testing of boiler for detection of possible leaked boiler tubes etc.

Complete dismantling of the burner (Thermax Oertli) type industrial Pressure jet of the SM 10 model steam boiler. After dismantling necessary repairs like cleaning, setting of the electrode diffuser plate, burner nozzle, oil pump etc are to be carried out.

Providing and fitting of the 6 inch. Dia steam pressure gauge of rating 0 - 50 kg/cm²

Providing and fitting of gun metal globe valve (IBR) 25 mm dia (Make : SIM/SANT/AUDCO)

Dismounting of steam pipes 25 mm dia along with glass wool and cladding . The job includes rectifying of leakages of the piping by welding at the damaged portions . The same are to be refitted back at the original position.
