Note : - The cleaning of Septic tank, soak pits,Man holes and Sewer lines shall be done mechanically with all safety preventive measures for the workmen employed and cost of the same including accidental coverage insurance shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted in corresponding items.

Cleaning of septic tanks by bailing out fluid, removing sediments, sludges washing septic tanks floor and walls with fresh water cleaned with wire brush, filling with fresh water and little quantity of well digested sludge complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following capacity of septic tanks. Note: The quoted rate shall be inclusive of following:- (i) Solids/sludges removed from septic tank to be disposed off out of defence land on contractor own arrangment. (ii) Surrounding area of septic tank shall be cleared off from shrubs and other wild growth alround 3metre away from the outer edge of the wall. (iii) Vehicle gate pass/trip sheet duly entered with Engine No.Reg No. and signed by the Engineer-in-Charge shall be submitted in support of RAR/FB payment.
