REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER PUMP SETS, CONTROL PANELS, WATER PIPE LINE, VALVES, CLEANING OF UG SUMP AND ASSOCIATED WORK AT POWAI, BORIVALI, WORLI, CG MALAD

Taking out unserviceable submersible pump set 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz of 03 to 05 HP including vertical column GI pipes of any size alongwith submersible cable from existing borewell at any depth and kept in safe custody for reinstallation after repairs and including lowering the submersible pump set into the borewell duly reconnecting and jointing of new or taken out vertical column GI pipes of any length along with new or taken out submersible cable by providing water proof jointing complete carefully by using necessary chain pulley /T&P / tripod etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) New column GI pipes and submersible cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling the submersible pump set of capacity 3 HP to 5 HP, 3 Phase, 415V, 50Hz of any type/make and carrying out servicing, overhauling, greasing and examine carefully ,repairs and replacement of minor spare parts such as pump shaft key, rotor key, sand guard, pump fixing stud, oil seal, neck ring, guide vane, adopter bearing bush, suction strainer, nuts, bolts and washers etc and including replacement of spares Viz: Counter thrust bearing , thrust bearing with CI housing , pump sleeves , motorbearing bush , impeller radial flow of stain less , impeller mix flow SS , revolving plate , cable etc. and assembling and refixing of pump and motor , including painting to pump and motor with two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surfaces . Testing after repair , complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be included of all replacement of minor spare parts other than supply only. (ii) The cost of transport to civil trade shop for repairs is deemed to be included in rate quoted by the contractor. Cleaning the semi underground/terrace reservoir of cap upto 45000 Ltrs by draining the complete water and removing the complete mud/ silt and and washing the complete inner surface of the tank by mechanical method and writing the date of cleaning on surface of tank with white synthetic enamelled paint on black background including covered the opening hole of tank with chicked wire mesh with iron frame , hinges and locking arrangement complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Each tank at different location (ii) T&P, material, labour involved in cleaning shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

M & L for carry out water quality anyalsis for bacterial , chemical and biological analysis including for collection of water samples from the Pump House at powai, Panvel, Murud janjira or form location as specified by Engineer-in-charge and testing from Govt approved testing laboratory , submitting of report from minium following parameters . (a) Turbudity (NTU) (b) pH (c ) Total Hardness as CsCO2(mg/l) (d) Iron as Fe(mg/l) (e) Magnesium as Mg (mg/l) (f) E-coli or thermotolerant coliform bacteria (g) Remarks of Govt testing lab . Development of bore well of upto 780 mm bore and not less than 50 meters deep of as per existingdepth at the pressure not less than 6kgs/SqCm by using suitable air Compressor and connecteditemems to improve the yield of bore well incl replacing of broken casing with as per existing type and sizel inci welding, cuting, lowering, dismantling, boring, PCC complete all as specified and directed NOTE: (i) Transportation of air compressor / boring machine along with tools and accessories at differentlocation for devolopment of bore well shall be the responsibility of contractor and the rate quoted will be deemed in the quoted rate). (ii) M&L for removing the blockage in bore well casing pipe at the depth not less then 50 meters from ground level by means of bocky or any means without damaging the casing (filter and blind pipe) upto the depth of bore. (iii) Replacement of damaged/broken casing pipe or unaligned/iregular then the same will be replaced / repaired or aligned by proper way for smooth unctioning of borewell without any cost to the dept. (iv) Payment will be made only after successfully testing the yield of water. Note: Above all maintenance works shall be done in all areas of Mumbai Area under GE Daman all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
