REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF REWINDING OVERHAULING OIL TOP UP AND OTHER ALLIED WORK OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER OF VARIOUS CAPACITY AT DOMESTIC AREA AT AFS, KANPUR

Attending to transformer complaint 24 hrs for capacity up to 63 KVA to 400 KVA tripping including meggering of the cables and checking the physical condition of the transformer and assessing the physical condition and checking oil level, conducting electrical LT testing like, measuring of IR values, ratio test, magnetic balance test, oil BDV test to assess the health of the windings and if found satisfactory, then connections of the cable terminations and make arrangement for charging the transformer, if transformer is found faulty, then recommended for the further repair/rewinding works to be carried out put back the transformer into service all as specified and directed.

All as per item no. 01 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 500 KVA to 2000 KVA 11/0.415 KV

Overhauling of transformers of capacity up to 63 to 400 KVA opening of top cover in situ or at wksp by unscrewing all nuts, bolts & washers, draining out transformer oil upto required level and keeping in clean container for repair/replacement of HT/LT bushings, tap changer, physical check of any defects, for lifting of core assy, for cleaning/repair and refixing top cover complete with RC 70 C rubberised cork sheet gasket sheet, existing/nuts, bolts & washers for transformer indoor/outdoor type. The transformer to be put inside the hearting chamber for IR values improvement , refilling of oil for transformer all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) HT/LT bushings, stud, tap changer, nuts, bolts & washers required new shall be measured separately as supply only and fixing element shall be deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate. (b) silicon oil proof gasket shall be inclusive of quoted rate. (c) Transportation and loading and unloading charge to be measured and paid included in quoted rate.

all as per item No. 03 here-in-above but for transformer capacity 500 KVA to 2000 KVA, 11/0.415 KV.

Note for serial item No 3 to 4 :- (a) New transformer oil to be bought in company sealed ISI marked container with test certificate (b) Filtration/dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at the location where transformer installed and required pipe connection from filter machine to transformer shall be made and rate shall be inclusive of quoted rate. (c) Necessary filter/dehydration plant having pressure gauge, hour meter, temperature gauge to be brought at site by contractor and to be kept permanently inside Air Force station till completion of work and rate deemed to be included in the quoted rate. In any condition, in-out of the filter machine during the progress of the work will not be allowed. (d) Transformer oil test report before and after dehydration/filtration shall be submitted duly authenticated by executives.

Dehydration/ filtration of transformer oil of existing transformer installed at site with portable plant at a temp 60-70 deg. C and achieving di electric strength of not less than 50 KV for 1 minute in 4 mm gap as per IS 335 of 1983 including top up transformer oil upto the level complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Conducting field testing of di-electric strength and acidity test of Tr. Oil to be carried out with acidity test kit before and after filtration. (ii) Transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) The Contractor shall arrange his own the electric power required for testing/ de-hydration if required.

Supply and topping of new insulation oil (transformer oil IS-335 of 1983 marked) filtered and tested upto 70 KV di-electric strength at 2.5 mm gap in insulated sealed drum duly ISI marked complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (i) Purchase Voucher and test certificate will be produced by Contractor at the time of claiming payment. (ii) Before topping up transformer oil sealed container shall be got checked at MES store yard.

M&L for replacement of breather assembly made with polycarbonate base and clear acylic glass of size to accommodate 2.0 kg of silicagel for transformer complete all as specified and directed

M&L for replacement of silica gel grains in the breather assembly of transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of transformer temperature guage dial type having temp range 0 to minimum 120 degree celsius complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of transformer explosion vent gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out manually repairable/servicable transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 2000 KVA from its position up to road n. exc 50 mtr and transportation by vehicle to other location n exc 5 KM inside Air Force station including all cable/earth connections all as specified and directed. (Note :- Rate for dismantling of HT/LT cable & earthing and reconnection of cable and earthing after installation deemed to be included in the quoted rate (b) Necessary crane for lifting of transformer and vehicle for transportation shall be arranged by the contractor and deemed to be included in the quoted rate)

M&L for core & chamber cleaning by lifting up carefully transformer core after dismantling carefully terminal connections from core to HT/LT bushings, tap changer assy. Drainout all oil and keeping in clean container, flushing with transformer oil for cleaning of core/winding cleaning of transformer tank by removing all sludge, re-install core with tap changer, all connection complete all as specified and directed for the transformer 63 to 2000 KVA, 11/0.415 KV transformer . (Note :- HT/LT bushing, brass rods, de-hydration/topping up of oil as required, shall be measured separately under appropriate item, (b) The work shall be carried out inside Air Force Staion, Chakeri (c) Transformer oil used flushing shall be retained and re-used after filtration and dehydration (d) Empty transformer oil container shall be arranged by the contractor and inclusive in quoted rate)

M&L for rewinding of HV/LV coil after lifting up carefully transformer core after dismantling carefully terminal connections from winding to tap changer assy and to HT/LT bushing , drain out all oil and keeping in clean container, dismantling core, dismantling all HT & LT coils from core for rewinding, testing and reassembling complte complete with HT/LT coils to core, required necessary numkax paper insulation press board, precompressed board off sizes, vernishing , heating to acchive insulation level not less than 1000 megaohms at both HT & LT side, core at transformer chamber, tap chanager assy, terminal connection, refilling of oil complete for the transformercapacity 63 to 2000 KVA , 11/0.415 KV transformer. (Note :- opening of top cover, reqinding of HT/LT coils, transformer oil, nuts, bolts & washers, HT/LT bushing, required new measured separately under relevent item)

M&L for rewinding of HT Coils suitable for 11000 volts grade with new DPC/Super enamelled copper wire having class-F insulation as per exisiting size and turns for capacity of transformer 63 to 2000 KVA

M&L for rewinding of LT Coils suitable for 1100 volts grade with new DPC/Super enamelled copper strip having class-F insulation as per exisiting size and turns for capacity of transformer 63 to 2000 KVA

M&L for off load tape changer assy including rotating wheel having 7 position of transformfer including dismantling and taking out unsv one and dismantling all winding terminal connections and reconnection after replacement complete upto transformer capacity 63 to 2000 KVA 11/0.415 KV

M&L for buchholz relay including necessary electric connectin to siren/panel complete upto transformer 63 to 2000 KVA. 11/0.415 KV

M&L for overhauling, servicing, cleaning of buchholz relay in situ at transformer original position and rectification of oil leakage from pipe with proper cork sheet gasket after dismantling and refixing, testing for proper functioning including complete connection all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning & painting of HV terminal box by dismantling of HT 3 core cable connection from transformer HT 11 KV side, cleaning & painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of complete HT cable box inside, cleaning of HT cable kit with suitable cleaning agent, checking for any loose cable end terminals and replaced as necessary and crimping with suitable tools, refixing to transformer, sealing of space between cable and cable box hole using suitable packing material, connection of cable earth terminal to specified point including testing all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning & painting of LV terminal box by dismantling of HT 4 core cable connection from transformer HT 11 KV side, cleaning & painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of complete HT cable box inside, cleaning of LV cable kit with suitable cleaning agent, checking for any loose cable end terminals and replaced as necessary and crimping with suitable tools, refixing to transformer, sealing of space between cable and cable box hole using suitable media, connection of cable earth terminal to specified point including fixing of required copper strip fdor LT cable connection testing all as specified and directed ( Copper strip shall be measured as supply only)

S & F in replacement of insulating mat 2.5 mm thick suitable for voltage up to 11 KV having dimensions of 2M x1M x 25mm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for adhesive type computerised cut sticker blue back ground with white letter of sticker size 100X400 mm on body of transformer showing capacity of transformer in KVA and M/C No all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for complete painting of transformer outer surface in situ/wksp with one coat of synthetic enamel paint using sprayer for transformer capacity 63 to 2000 KVA after prliminary preparation of old painted surface (Note : during process of painting , transformer will be under shut down for the period and the rate deemed to be included for running the sprayer machine with alternative arrangment by the contractor. (ii) After completion of painting HT/LT outdoor bushing, cable termination joint, oil inspection glass meters and name plates to be made clean using volatile cleaner)

M&L for cleaning of entire indoor sub station building inside wall, cleaning floor and out side wall, plinth protection with suitable brush/broom/wiper removing wild vegetation around sub station building complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) If cleaning not carried out as per the time given by Engr-in-Charge double penalty of the quoted rate shall be recovered from the contractor.(ii) Each sub station cleaning will be measured as one job.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized strip 32 X 6mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or of steel, earth lead protected by 40mm dia GI pipe light grade watering pipe 20mm dia GI light grade GI wire messed funnel, alternative layer of charcoal and salt, PCC chamber, recessed for and including RCC cover including all necessary excavation and earth work, earth strips connected to HT/LT equipment testing the earthing after completion all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Pt- I 2009 print, complete all as specified & directed. Note:- GI earth strip and GI protection pipe beyond 7.5 Mtr long measured and paid separately

Dismantling, taking out all earth connection of strip from any type panel board/transformer to earth electrode any size and replace the worn out earth strip proper clamp, shadle,nut/bolts and washers connect all joint with new nuts/bolts and washers to in original position all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth Gi strip/copper measured and paid separetely.

Supply only copper strip of size 32 x 6 mm all as specified and as directed .

Supply only GI earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm all as specified and as directed .

S&F in replacement of HT VCB copper alloy bus bar air insulated, appropriate size and lengh with 11 kv grade polipro power line protector (sleeve) for designed to insulated bare busbar to prevent accidents due to electrocution/ ionisation. The protector should have excellent UV resistance, abrasion registance, fire resistance properties, good dielectric strengh & maintenance free complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for periodical cleaning of complete transformer out surface including HT/LT bushing, radiators, marshaling box with volatile agent at every alternate 3 month to keep the complete outside surface dry clean all as specified and directed. Note :- Each job measured in one Quarter as one unit.

M&L for danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bone in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamp, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25X20 cm size all as specified and directed

S & F in replacement of insulating mat 3.0 mm thick suitable for 33 KV having dimensions of 2M x1M x 25mm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
