Material and labour for Preparation of old plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls including brooming down, steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash including cleaning the floor/ joinery surfaces , glass panes all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment including preparation of wall surfaces and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper over a coat of alkali resistant primer all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted wood and wood based surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete walls/ ceiling surfaces in patches etc. of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water; rubbish off the premises etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces as on walls, finished even and smooth without using extra cement etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on fair faces of concrete surfaces as in ceilings, finished even and smooth without using extra cement etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of new wall surface and apply two coats of oil bond distemper over a coat of alkali resistant a primer, 3mm thick wall care putty including cleaning the floor/ joinery surfaces, glass panes all as directed by Engineer in Charge

Note for item No.1.00 to 18.00:- 1) Use of all scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, etc., necessary for execution of work and protective measures. 2) Removing of nails, making good holes, cracks, etc. 3) Work in patches, and in narrow widths. bands, cornices, pilasters, etc. and cutting in edges to line, where necessary. 4) Spreading and removing coverings to doors, windows, floors, fittings, etc., to protect them from splashes. 5) Removing and replacing furniture, movable cupboard, chicks, blinds, etc. 6) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wiring, etc. of drops and splashes and leaving premise, clean and tidy. 7) Quantity of material required for the entire work shall be made available in two phases as directed and kept in safe custody of MES. 8) Rates quoted for item No.1.00 to 18.00 are deemed to be inclusive of cost of these provisions i.e., Note No.1 to 7.
