Cleaning of septic tank/ manholes by dewatering by mechnical means by using sewage tanker vehicles fitted with suction pumps complete all as specified and as directed. (capacity of 8000kg per load). Note (for srl item No 01 to 10) :- (i) Safety precaution should be taken before cleaning of septic tank during the period of contract. If any casualty contractor is fully responsible and no claim whatsoever will be entertained due to non-compliance of safety precautions. (ii) The contractor should deploy his rep to collect complaint slips at the O/o AGE B/R-I at 0900hrs daily. The complaint slips will be deposited by 1700hrs on the same day. The contractor will deploy two labourers on daily basis to attend complaints and shall be available at Thanjavur Air base between 0900hrs to 1700hrs daily. (iii) For removal of sewage mucks, no manual labour will be allowed. Only mechanical means is authorised / permitted.
Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5m wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc. and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick using soils complete all as specified and as directed.
Removing excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point as in soils complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L in repairs Concrete bed to 150 mm bore drain pipes in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 incl packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed.
S&Fin repair 150mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length , laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and as directed.
Demolition of brick work, stone / boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L brick work with subclass ‘B’ old size bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm size graded stone aggregate) as in benching/copings including necessary use and waste of form work complete all as specified and as directed.
Rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.
Cutting in to existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 smooth finished and reforming benching as required for bore of pipe 100/150 mm complete all as specified and as directed.
