Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 M wide and not exc 1.5 M in depth for pipe line, etc in soft/ loose soil getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (Soils) from site to a distance not exc 50 M away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5mtr above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commmisioning of DI Pipe as per IS 8329, class K-7 with inside cement mortar lining with spigot and socket ends laid in trenches including rubber tyton joints complete all as specified and as directed at site for the following sizes :- Note : - Joints shall be measured and paid for separetely under respective item of this BOQ.

Supplying, laying, jointing, welding & testing MS Pipe (Heavy duty class 'C') laid in trenches or on floors for connections to centrifugal pump sets for suction, pump to header and to connect out going water main CI/DI pipe line complete all as directed. Note:- MS Flanges and Flange joints complete with jointing materials shall be measured and paid for separetely under respective item of this BOQ.

Supply, installation and testing of flanged ends water meter of following sizes ISI marked woltman type, Class 'B' and making good connection with flanged ends, with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts fixing in horizontal/inclined/vertical position complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Flange joints including jointing materials shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.

Supply, installation and testing flanged ends strainer/dirt box of following sizes with stainless steel mesh suitable for cold water meter to avoid foreign material entering into meter and making good connection with flanged ends, with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts fixing in horizontal/inclind/vertical position complete all as sepcified and as directed. Contruction of valves pit chamber having internal dimension 90cmx90cmx90cm (internal height) with PCC (1:4:8) using 40mm graded stone aggregate for fdn (15mm thick), 23 cm brick wall in cement mortar 1:4, 10mm thick rendering all around the brick work in cement mortar 1:6, PCC (1:2:4) type B1 coping with 20mm graded aggregate for grounting MS frame including 3.15 mm thick MS top sheet cover with locking arrangement including 50 mm pad lock ISI marked of approved make with triple key arrangements. Supply, fixing, jointing & testing Cast Iron Sluice Valve of following dia bore as under, ISI Marked, flanged ends drilled pressure rating PN-1.0, PD Short body, confirming to IS 14846 -2000, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Flanged joints complete with jointing material shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.

M&L for painting on steel and iron surfaces with two coat of synthetic enamel paint as per existing colour scheme or pattern after preparation of old painted surface of any description over 10 cm in width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.

Making bore hole under the road in any type of soil through trenchless technology by HDD (horizontal direction drilling method) including perparing and setting up the plant and euipment, perparing new pipe work like excavation shoring/ strutting etc drilling, stringing reaming pulling back the new work on the path alignment proper disposal of drilling fluid and the ground penetrating radar survey to protect existing utilities at the pipe installation location restoration of site after completion all inclusive as per IndSTT No 2.3 2.2 second edition 2008 code of practice of trenchless technology suitting indian condition for making horizontal bore size of 400 mm dia suitable for HDPE pipe insertion under the road crossing hard standing including HDPE pipe size 300 mm nominal bore 28.30 mm minimum wall thickness of grade PE 80 for protection of MS pipe to any depth all as specified and directed. Note : MS pipe of suitable bore shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of this BOQ.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-I (with 20mm graded aggregate) as in coping, grounting, finished even and smooth without using extra cement as on brick work/plastering/flooring complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour for cutting of MS/DI pipe in the position for reducing to required length for insertion of new tees, branches etc of 100 mm to 150 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.
