Charges for leading, lifting and transportation of iron and steel materials, from Central stores to site for Cooling Tower-III.

Charges for marking & cutting the corroded and eroded MS hot water pipe of size 1600mm Ø and its supporting structure in the existing Hot water header pipe line at 11 m height for pipe replacement work [The required Material will be supplied by TNPGCL].

Charges for fabrication of 1600 mm dia hot water pipe line, by cutting, bending and welding the 10 mm thick MS plate to the required size.

Charges for erecting the new MS pipe of size 1600mm Ø in the existing Hot water header pipe line and devolution of the removed corroded and eroded pipe to Central stores/MTPS-I.

Charges for Edge preparation and welding the newly laid MS Pipe of size 1600 mm Ø in the existing hot water header pipe at 11 m height.

Charges for Petty Iron Works for fabrication and fixing of pipe supporting structures required for 1600mm hot water header pipe line at 11 meter height to facilitate the replacement of worn out pipe line (Required 10 mm Thick MS palte,200 x 75 mm MS Channel and 'I' Beam will be supplied by Contractor Scope).

Charges for providing & dismantling of Scaffolding & Platform arrangements required for erection, welding of MS Pipe of size 1600mm Ø and its supporting structure (Eastern & western sides) in the existing hot water header pipe at 11 m height in Cooling Tower-III by using steel poles (Required scaffolding materials and its transportation to work spot from outside MTPS-I are under contractor scope).

Loading the mill rejects from mill reject yard area and weighing in departmental weigh bridge and transporting to Cooling Tower - III Hot water riser pipe area by using Contractor’s vehicle and unloading the same. After completion of the work again loading the unloaded mill reject from Cooling Tower-III area and unloaded at mill reject area.

Hire charges for vehicle per Ton for transporting of mill reject from mill reject yard to Cooling Tower - III Hot water riser pipe line area, after completion work the unloaded mill reject return back to mill reject yard.

Dismantling the existing sun shield roof structure provided over the Hot water basin at the eastern side of CT-III by removing the bolts and nuts in the base plate at equal intervals and place it on the fan floor/ lowering it to the ground to facilitate the renewal of corroded/eroded pipe of size 1600mm Ø, and re-erect the sun shield roof structure in its position using suitable bolts and nuts. If necessary, duly carrying out of the renewal of eroded sun shield structure by using suitable MS materials which include cutting, drilling and welding charges, cost of welding electrodes, necessary scaffolding arrangement, cost of screws and bolts & nuts for fixing the powder coated roofing sheets removed during dismantling and assembling of the sun shield roof structure.

Charges for painting with one coat of epoxy red oxide primer and one coat of epoxy high build coal tar on the inner surface of newly laid MS Pipe of size 1600mm Ø in the existing hot water header pipe at 11m height.

Hire charges for 1 No. 40 T mobile crane for holding and locking the 1600mm Ø pipe at 11 meter height during replacement of corroded/ eroded M.S pipe of size 1600mm Ø in the existing hot water header pipe line outside the cooling tower-III.

Hire charges for machinery Heavy goods vehicle (JCB) for laying the mill reject for the movement of 40 Ton mobile crane from road side to CT-III (ie., adjacent to Clarifier-IV) hot water raiser pipe area and collecting the mill reject after completion of work.

Cost of 10 mm Thick MS plate as per:IS 2062 for Sl.No.3 & 6

Cost of 200 x 75mm MS channel and 200 x 100 mm MS ‘I’ Beam for Sl.No.6
