Repair and replacement to water pipe line network at Mil Stn Dappar under GE (P) Dappar

Dismantling and taking up submersible pumps set of any capacity and any size from bore well with the help of chain pulley block including dismaintling the MS/GI column pipe and electrical mechanical connection transportation from site to authorised workshop at Ambala /Chandigarh for carrying out necessary repairs /replacement of defective / worn out parts and back to site, lowering the submercible pump set in to borewell after testing including connecting coulmn pipe and cable connection etc, after completion of the work testing of pump set on load to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and reading the data complete. Note :- (i) T&P required for raising & lowering, the pumps and pipes will be arranged by contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contrator for this items. (ii) Small items such as nuts, bolts washers and rubber gasket required will be included in the item rate. (iii) Spare parts for repair will be measured and paid separately.

Supply, jointing, testing and commissioning GI pipe heavy duty 80mm internal dia (3 mtr long with both ends threaded and fitted with heavy duty MS flanges 14mm thick, two Nos groves for submersible cable continuous welded and drilled 4 Nos hole, complete as column pipe including jointing material such as bolts, nuts, washers and rubber gasket etc complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement of Cross arms, bracings, supports,clamps Iron fabricated from structrual steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one perimer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar incl all quoins, arches, pillars, in any situation etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster from brick wall including raking out joints ,hacking for key scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as above hereinbefore ser item no. 7 but except brick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.(Serviceble Old bricks obtain from ser item No shall be reused after cleaning).

Material and labour 15 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick walls or concrete external surfaces finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in coping complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F Mild steel, plain, black sheet in steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required having 1.6 mm thickness of sheet against worn out MS sheet etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently with welding, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) of Fe-410W(GdeE-250) qualityB against worn out channel, angle iron etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L taking out 100mm dia sluice valves and re-facing, regrinding replacing stuffing boxes of sluice valve spindle and gland plate replacement of gasket, nuts, bolts, washers and reassembling in existing state including excavation and earth work and making the disturbed surface as per existing surface after making the sluice valve serviceable to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Description all as per ser item no 5.00 here-in-before but Sluice Valve of 150 mm dia

Demolation and taking out old damaged earth pit PCC chamber with cover. M&L for preparation of new PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 cover duly reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 Kg/sqm and CI frame and other provisions all as shown electrical plate No-03 of SSR-2009 Part-I complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down old pipeline GI/CI/DI and connections from trenches or any position for re-fixing alongwith pipe or removel all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge for following sizes:- (a) 20 mm

S & F GI tubing medium grade galvanised 20 mm dia with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in trenches floor all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge.

Supply and fix Gun-metal gate valves 20 mm dia,with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge.

Labour for boring underground upto 100 mm bore for road crossing 3 mtr to 10 mtr not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of electric cable and GI tubing in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Supply and fix D-Joint of 100 mm dia in CI pipe line to stop leakage with all necessary items which is required for to stop leakage including necessary excavation and refilling all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for laying of CI / GI pipes laying in trenches and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in trenches including , leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft / loose soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at level nexc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour Earthing by using MS galvanised earth plate of size, 60x60cmx 6.3mm thick, as earth electrode surrounded by charcoal salt buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground with top edge of the earth plate at a depth less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with 15cm thick layers of mixture of charcoal dust and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm size by mean of bolts, nuts, checknuts, and washers of galvanised iron connected to main switch board or main control board and proteced in CI pipe light grade 40mm dia all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR part-I including necessary exc. and earth work. The rate also include testing, 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering, funnel, wire mesh, PCC chambers in cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 40mm thick RCC(1:2:4) type B-1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15mm c/c both ways and CI frame etc. and testing complete including taking out old unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of digital water level indicator device, operating on single phase supply, direct display in 150mm size digit system in meter/centimeter of water level of sumps/overhead tank ensuring alarm while water fall or rise at predetermined limit, One minute auto-off alarm. The entire unit must operate through a compact electronic circuit, which must ensure reliable operation at 230V +/-5% with reliable in digit display % alarm at low and high level of sumps/overhead tank. . The circuit must be housed in a MS CRC sheet box with nylon moulded connection strips. The level must be of resistance transducer, which is unaffected by corrosion and other contacts available in water. The product must be controlled by a microswitch . The whole unit must be electronically controlled and upper level and lower level indicator must be highly sensitive micro switch all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make as per approved makes by E-in-C.

Supply and fixing in repairs Chequered Channel Cover of exgisting sizes 300 x300x6 mm thick or as required at site but 6 mm thick square cut notched (Ordinary & counter sunk) forming hole without any attachment including reparing existing cable trench with cement concrete 1:3:6 aggregate complete including one coat of black bituminous paint over a coat of primer complete including taking out old broken plate from site all as directed by Engr-in-charge, Make- TATA/LIGHTEX
