Providing MS casing pipe around RCC cast-in-situ bored piles of different diameters in position including cost of all materials, fabrication, handling etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.
Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.
b) 3 m to 6 m depth (i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.
Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in layers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m.
Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works.

Supplying, fitting and placing un-coated HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Foundation including initial traightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. ii) a. Tor Steel rods / HYSD bars / TMT bars (SAIL/ TATA/ RINL ) (Fe 415 /Fe 500 /Fe 500D, conforms to IS: 1786)
Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. b) Where staging is not required
Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.
Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Sub structure with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Providing and laying Cement concrete Wearing coat M-30 grade with graded stone chips 19mm down including screening and cleaning approved stone chips and sand as necessary laying, finishing complete to camber and grade, curing with water, including cost and carriage of all materials and hire charges for form work including reinforcement complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications vide clause no. 2702 of MoRT&H’s Specification for Road & Bridge Works.
Making filter with well graded 40 mm down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden malllet after laying to achieve designed section as per direction of the Engineer- in - Charge (measurements will be on finished work / in stack after deducting necessary void) (b) 1st class brick ballast

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1956 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 1957, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for thework including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to bemade on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per ISspecified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7%of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15% of weight for finished structal membersweighing less than 22.5 Kg. / m. may beincreased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment beingmade for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level fromthe ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initiial 8m. or part thereof. Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).
Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). Supplying & laying Double Wall Corrugated (with external annular corrugation and smooth internal walls) High Density Polyethelene Pipes conforming to IS 16098 (Part-I):2013 having Stiffness Class of SN 8 with Ring Stiffness not less than 8.00 KN/Sqm. and Impact Resistance TIR value not more than 10% including necessary jointing materials for onpressure underground Drainage, Sewerage & Cross drainage application. Supplying, spreading and consolidating Moorum to a depth of 75 mm at desired density and C.B.R. as per specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessary, and lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2 to 3 days, mending cracks by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants etc. complete as per specification.
Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 x 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1½:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm. is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.)
Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. (II) By Mechanical Means b) Reinforced Cement Concrete
Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments,repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of. B) Beyond 1.000 km and upto 2.000 km
Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (a) Ordinary soil/local soil/soil mixed with moorum or kankar/silt dry or moist/slushy silt/sticky soil.
Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.
Supplying at site and laying in position UVstabilized polypropylene woven geotextile of 430 gsm as filter, as per specification, including cost of preparing the bed, placing the geotextile as per profile with at least 15cm lapping, wherever required and anchorage at top, sewing / welding the overlapped portion, storage and transportation by all means, complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1.Payment to be made on measurement of finished surface without lapping, but including anchoring length at top. 2.Payment will be made subject to the result of 3rd Party Testing, to be done by the Engineer-in-chargede part mentally. Paragraphs 2.7.7, 2.7.9 and 2.7.10 under the Chapter of “Specification for Works” in the USoR shall be reproduced
and included in the tender document as “Specification & Special Terms & Conditions for Geotextile” in case of use of this item in the estimate. 3. This particular item is to be used in special cases, either in continuation of previous usage or after offering adequate justification from techno-economical angles.
