SPECIAL REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF RUSTED GI/CI PIPE INTO PP-R PIPE IN DOMESTIC AREA WITH ALLIED WORKS AT AF STATION UNDER GE (AF) CHABUA

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m in depth and not exc 1.5 m wide for taking out/laying CI/GI pipes and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing at a level not exceeding 1.5 m from starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up old unserviceable 150 mm bore GI Pipe from trenches/floors with necessary fittings and valves etc complete all as specified and all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 4 here-in-before above but 100 mm bore GI Pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 4 here-in-before above but 80 mm bore GI Pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 4 here-in-before above but 50 mm bore GI Pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix, 3 (Three) layered, PP-R (Polypropylene Random Co-Polymer) pipes, 160 mm OD, SDR 7.4 (PN 16), UV stabilized , inner anti microbial, fusion welded, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain fittings and brass threaded fittings, laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following factors:- (1) Clamping for PP-R pipe on wall, the distance between two clamps not more than 0.5 mtr and clamp must be for PP-R pipe only (not iron clamp) fixed to walls/ceiling by drilling holes and inserting PVC raw plugs and tightening with SS screws not less than 1½" long as per manufacturer's instructions. (2) Flanges in pipe lines shall be provided at an interval of not exceeding 30 mtr in continuous lengths. (3) Where required "Tee & bend/elbow", insert flanges in both/all sides of "Tee & bend/elbow" shall be provided.

Supply laying in trenches ductile iron (DI) pressure pipe with spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast, class K-7, confirming to IS : 8329-2000 with internal metallic zinc coating and external black bitumen coating suitable for push on joint (tyton) in any length of 150 mm bore complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate (s) includes for all jointing & jointing material.

Supply and fixing, Cast iron sluice valve of size 150mm bore, heavy duty (PN-1.6) with flanged ends, brass spindle any pattern with iron wheel head confirming to IS:14846, including jointing and jointing materials, nuts, bolts, rubber gasket and washers, complete including taking down old unserviceable valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 50 mm bore dia Gun-metal, gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends on GI pipes with GI union, including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as specified and all as directed.

Construction of brick masonry valve pit/chamber of internal dimension 90 cm x 90 cm x 90 cm depth with sub class 'B' old size bricks in CM (1:4) and 10 mm thick plastering in CM (1:4), PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (Using 40 mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in foundation lean concrete, PCC (1:3:6) type CI (using 20 mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in bedding and copping MS frame with 40 x 40 x 6 mm angle iron 3 mm thick MS sheet cover plate with locking arrangements, hinges and two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surface, three coats of white wash on plastered surface (exposed to view) including necessary breaking of the existing old chamber, excavation in soft loose, soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, including dismantling/demolition of old unserviceable valve pit/chamber complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 18 here-in-before but valve pit chamber of internal dimension size 60 x 60 x 60 cm, complete all as specified and as directed.
