Manning and operation of package type AC plant at BGRP of capacity of 7.5 ton-03 Nos. ( 2 x 7.5 TR working and 1x 7.5 TR standy) Make : Blue Star, Model DPW-1322 S running daily 8 hrs. 01 shift for smooth functioning of entire system and to maintain specific temperature as directed complete. AC plants consists of the following accessories:-

Manning and operation of DG set 2 Nos 320 KVA capacity each ( one working and one standby) installed at INHS Patanjali for three (03) shifts round the clock on all days including Sunday and holiday comprising the following equipment all as directed by Engineer -in -charge .

NOTE FOR Item No 4-

(i) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for daily routine maintenance as detailed below for trouble free functioning of DG Set and equipment.

(a)Checking /rectifing of loose connections.

(b) Maintaing rhe general clearance of the installation

(c) Check the water /coolent level in radiator & top up as and when required .check oil level & fuel and inform Engr-in-charge.

(d) Check oil level & fuel and inform Engr-in-charge.

(e) Check level of electrolyte in battery and top up if required.

(f) Check battery terminal and if founf loose /tight properly.

(vii) Fuel will be issued by Department through issue voucher free for consumption only for DG Sets.

Note for item No.1 to 5

(a) Contractor has to employ following staff for manning & operation of the AC plants at each shifts of 8 hours

(i) One No operator having minimum ITI qualification in Ref Mech/Electrician trade from Govt recognised institute with minimum 2 years experience in maintenance & operation of AC plants in each shift of 8 hrs (. The operator must be competent to caryout the routine maintenance & check of AC plant including maintenance/check/inspection of electrical panel board. for Sl Item No 1 to 4

(ii) One No operator having minimum ITI qualification in FGM/Electrician trade from Govt recognised institute with minimum 2 years experience in maintenance & operation of DG set in each shift of 8 hrs (. The operator must be competent to caryout the routine maintenance & check of DG set installation including maintenance/check/inspection of electrical panel board. for Sl Item No 5

(b) Contractor will maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly , monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book/register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge

(c) The operator will ensure general cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.

(d) The routine maintenance/checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as per the list of routine maintenance activities with periodicity as per appendix 'A' to PS hereinafter attached.

(e) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegitation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. . (f) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per uniform will be levied and recovered from dues. (g) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates.

(h) Defective parts of plants will be replaced and measured under respective item of this schedule.

(i)Power supply for operating the installations will be made availiable by department free of cost.

SCH 'A' PART-II (ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF AC PLANTS)

M&L dismantling electric motor of any make, 3 phase 415V of following capacity, opening the motor for rewinding using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding as per manufacturer design including varnishing & drying and re-assembling the motor, connecting with proper alignment and testing complete including transporting to workshop for rewinding complete all as directed.

M & L for Servicing of water pump split casing type set by removing & dismantling pump and connected pipes & electric connections etc and replacing of unserviceable parts with new gland packing set Gun metal bushes, bearing, water seal packing complete cleaning of impeller greasing etc reassembling and refixing in original position complete with packing and necessary nut & belt etc including testing for smooth functioning etcof following capacity all as specified and directed.

(a) 5 hp at WED/NSD

(b) 3 hp at BGRP

Taking out old unserviceabe scroll compressor 13 TR capacity from the unit after disconnecting electrical wiring and piping connections , nuts and bolts etc and Supply and fixing new scroll compressor 13 TR capacity and connecting pipe line for existing piping brazing and electric connection etc complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 8 above but for 7.5 TR Capacity.

M & L for disconnecting condenser for descaling & Plugging them & providing of 15 mm tee out let for local circulation of mild acid solution in the condenser (separate container and small pump set to circulate diluted acid solution to be used) PH value of solution to be circulated & to be kept 4 and checking frequently i.e. every one hour during the operation Scalgun WS solution to be used for descaling purpose after 2 to 3 hours of cleaning if ph value remains less than 7 flush with fresh water mixed with sodium carbonate tubes and cleaning with nylon brush after closing the end covers, circulating diluted acid solution as specified above & PH value to be maintained as above & flushing the same with fresh water including recharging of stored refrigerant up to required pressure complete all as specified & directed by EIC of for 30 TR at WED/NSD

Pumping down the plant to preserve the existing refrigerant gas & leak testing chiller plant by charging of Nitrogen gas in to entire plant & monitoring for 24 hrs to find the leakages rectification of leak by brazing/ Capping leaked tubing & replacement of necessary gasket packing as wherever required including copper tubes of suitable size vacuumising of the plant by vacuum pump & keeping 24 hrs for testing including rectification of leakages if any finally recharging of existing refrigerant gas to the plant and and topping up of refrigerant if required to maintain the standard pressure complete testing of the plant for smooth functioning complete.

Taking down motor, blower fan assembly from cooling Tower, removing unserviceable fins , & providing new PVC fins of size 4"x6" ,after cleaning of Louvers, drift eleminators fill surface by moderate pressure water nozzle to remove all surface impurities incl removal of rust/scale, scrapping down the hard water deposited from bottom tray with chemical and preparing the surfaces and painting with one coat of anticorrosive paint to match with existing colour, servicing of fan and motor assembly including removal of dust, oil, scale of motor body and replacing of unserviceable nozzle,bearings , painting with anti corrosive paint, draining and filling of bearing housing with new SAE 20 grade mineral oil, greasing of bearing with IOCL mobilux etc , & reassembling complete of following cooling towers

(a) FRP Cooling tower capacity 131 USGPM Make Paharpur AT WED/NSD

(b) FRP Cooling tower capacity 30 USGPM Make Paharpur AT BGRP

Note: (a)Defective parts of plants will be replaced and measured under respective item of this schedule. (b) Fins, float valve reqd for replacement will be measured under under respective item of this schedule.

Supply & fixing in repair Nitrile insulation layers of size 25 mm thickness sticking on the chiller surface by using approved adhesive and ceiling joint by weather proof tape after removing unserviceable nitrile insulation from the chiller & cleaning complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(a) Supply & Fix in repairs MS pipe heavy grade 80 mm dia including removing of unserviceable MS pipe medium grade of 80 mm dia all as specified & directed

M&L in repair duct insulations with resin bonded fiber glass wool density 24 Kg/Cum with laminated aluminium barriers thick 50 mm and including following :- (a) Cleaning the duct surface. (b) Applying rubber based adhesive CPRX compound. (c) Ceiling all joints and circular cover laps including alumunium foil taps 50 mm size 12/50 mm maximum intervals 1.2 mtrs.

Removing side panel of AHU of any capacity, dismantling of AHU carefully removing unserviceable blower bearings and removing motor and blower assembly , replacement of AHU blower bearings after machining of shafts, cleaning bottom tray of AHU and refixing electric motor and top side panel in origial position with new bolts washers and shafts keys and bottom of tray and checking the shafts balancing and testing for smooth running all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair of impeller of monoblock pump set of capacity 5HP split casing type set by removing & dismantling pump and complete cleaning of impeller greasing replacing of unserviceable coupling ,etc reassembling and refixing in original position complete with packing and necessary nut & belt etc including testing for smooth functioning all as specified and directed.

Manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning in repair of the following extensible cubical type indoor mounting powder coated, modular compartmentalized IP 42, dead front, dust and vermin proof, floor mounting 2 mm thick sheet clad switchboard suitable for use at 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire 50 cycle system.

Note:- The following provisions shall be required to be made in the switchboard detailed below (a) The switchboard shall have provision for entry of all XLPE cables from the top/bottom as required. (b) All live accessible parts shall be shrouded and all equipment shall be finger touch proof. The bus bar insulation shall be with heat shrinkable sleeves. SMC/DMC shrouds and bus bar supports shall be used.

(c) Suitable tinned copper extension links for incoming/outgoing cables shall be provided whenever required. (d) space heater/light/air filter shall be provided for each vertical compartment. PART-III : ROUTINE MAINT OF DG SET 320 KVA

Opening the LT Panel board cubical type for DG set located in DG room, cleaning the Bus Duct chamber, inspect the complete panel, tighten the all incoming, outgoing ACBs/MCCB s/ SFU of different capacity, nuts, bolts, bus bar insulator and replace with new one if required and heating up for removal of moisture, record its IR value with the help of 1.1KV megger and applying thick coating of Z931 strippex B and Z 955 Strippex (SL) of stanvac product for preventing from flush over and fire hazard, including replacement of 3mm thick gasket, closing of all holes and charging the same complete all as directed.

All as per item No 50 hereinbefore but for main electric panel

M&L for scrapping old paint and rust, cleaning and preparation of surface of DG set, DG set enclosures, diesel tank, rolling shutter of DG set, DG panel board and painting with synthetic enamel paint to match with existing colour and painting the exhaust pipe with aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for isolating earthing lead conductor from test point and measuring resistance value of earth pit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs of AVR Model AS 440 of alteranator 3 phase 415 Volts of 320 KVA Make Stamford Alternator complete testing all as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs of Rectifier service Kit of alteranator 3 phase 415 Volts of 320 KVA make Stamford Alternator complete testing all as directed.

Supply and Fix in repairs of new battery of 12 volts 180 AH battery all as specified and directed

Taking out the radiator from the engine up radiator fins descaling core for elimination of residual etc com[plete all as specified and directed.

Taking out & caliberation of fuel injection pump, testing complete and refixing the same to original position etc complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing of 320 KVA DG set of make Greaves Mode;l No 7 BD 2 V 12 MK II HP -396 , by opening up the rocker and cover, adjusting the rocker arm tappet gap, removing & cleaning the inlet & outlet valves, replacement of tappet cover gaskets, checking & adjusting fuel injection timing, removing the diesel feed pipes, cleaning throughly & pressure testing, removing the oil sump of engine, cleaning & replacement of Engine Oil , oil filters, fuel fitters, replacement of inlet manifold gasket, draining out diesel from diesel storage tank completely, cleaning the tank & drying, outlet & over flow pipes from tank to engine. including replacement of spare parts as require etc complete all as spcified and directed. Note- (i) Servicing of DG set has to be done by authorised service engineer of cummins only. (ii) Spare parts requred will be measured and paid separately. M&L for rectification of defects and making functional cold room,cool room of any capacity incl rectification of minor defect such as tripping of MCBs, replacement of MCBs labour only wherever necessary, rectifying loose electrical connections, making fresh connections in electric panel / connectorr etc, making functional of defective drain pipe blockage/leakage etc, checking of functionality of compressor of any capacity etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Unit rate quoted shall include for maintaining proper record and obtain the signature of concerned user unit. (ii) Unit rate quoted shall include for sundry items / materials as required.
