PROVISION OF INTERNAL ROAD AND RESURFACING OF EXISTING ROAD WITH ROAD FURNITURE ETC UNDER GE 865 EWS AT LEH

Preparing the existing black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen over black bitumenous surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen (VG -10), rolled using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE. (ii) The binder content specified is minimum. Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

Providing premix bituminious macadam using HMP laid rolled and compacted to reuired gradient and camber using binder with paving bitumen VG 10 minimum 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified add directed by Engr-in-Charge (consolidated thickness 75mm or loss) Note -(i) work shall be executed as per design mix Govt Approved Lab (NABL)/ Govt Engg College as approved by GE (ii) The binder content specified is minimum Any Variation in binder content during Mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

M&L for preparing of old/ new bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines dashes arrows etc and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair SOLAR cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mmx 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4v/0.3 watt one NI- ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bringht LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective retiectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green , red and yellow reflector radium tape 25mm wide strips withn anti theft steel net for refector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x 300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out hard / dense soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out hard / dense soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., n exc. 1.5m high from base, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc.1.5 m above the starting point., complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement , M & L, concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Rolling and consolidation of formation surfaces in cutting of roads, consolidation to required level, radiant and camber, filling in hollow and depression with exc 8 to n.exc 12 tonne power roller. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 200mm thick(spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulder quarried stone interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with exc 8 to n.exc 12 tonne power roller. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 150mm thick (in two layers of 75mm each) (Compacted thickness) WBM with coarsed aggregates (i.e with lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled consolidated to gradient and camber required with exc 8 to n.exc 12 tonne power roller. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE- Each layer will be measured seperately.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
