Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete using hard granite broken stone in foundations, trenches etc. including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, leveling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

1 : 2 : 4 (1 cement : 2 sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 25mm nominal size) for encasement of stoneware pipes including consolidation, curing etc., complete.

Propping and supporting the structural members and its adjoining areas with steel props (adjustable or as required), bracings, steel/timber runners etc to relieve the structural member of the required load coming over it as per the pattern given by the contractor & approved by Engineer-in-charge complete.

Steel Prop of up to 5 MT Capacity and up to 3.40 m height

Extra for every additional height of 0.3 M or part thereof

Supplying, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works including sloped roof and arches etc., as per drawings and specifications, all centering, scaffolding complete (Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces).

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side at all height made using 40mm diameter M.S. tube spaced @ 1.5m center to center at both horizontal and vertical joining with cup and lock system with M.S.tube, M.S.tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc., including maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved, removing after completion of repair works, the scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners connection with the building, etc., wherever required for essential safety features for the workmen, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 2) The buildings are Electrical substation and the contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) - 1987. (Safety Code for scaffolds). 3) All working platform must be of minimum 600 mm wide, made of M.S pipe and must have guard rails as per specification. 4) Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the repair work is in progress. 5) To protect workers on lower platform against falling objects from higher level over head protection should be provided on the scaffolds. 6) Necessary aluminium/ M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required location around the building to enable Departmental Supervisor/Engineer climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building.

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1.5:3 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc. as per drawings and specifications. Note :The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).

Providing, hoisting and fixing in position of 75mm thickness of precast slabs in cement concrete 1 : 2 : 4 using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing, finishing the exposed surface, curing, fixing at all levels, grouting with CM / Cement grout wherever required, etc., all complete excluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item as per specifications and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Random Rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1 : 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) in above plinth for compound wall using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry including bond stones of 2 Nos/Sq.m at 1.5 to 1.8 mtrs apart, raking out joints, sunk / flush pointing in CM 1:3 , scaffolding, forming grooves wherever required, curing, etc., all as per standard specification.

Providing and laying brick masonry in Cement Mortar 1:6 with well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality in all shapes and sizes including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete surfaces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge.

Providing and inserting 12mm (± 2mm) dia Galvanized steel/ Aluminium injection nipple suitable to withstand high pressure grouting in honey comb area/weak/porous concrete including drilling of holes of required diametre (20mm to 30mm) up to depth from 30mm to 80mm at required spacing, making the hole dust free by blowing compressed air, sealing the sides of injection nipple with adhesive chemical of make MC Bauchemie (MC Fix-ST) or Bostik (Plug leak) or other approved make and allow it to cure, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and injecting PU based injection grout of make MC Bauchemie (MC Inkjet 2700L) or other approved make in proportion as recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete by suitable two component injection gun/pump at required pressure including mixing of two component, injecting at specified pressure, cutting of nipples after curing, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- i) The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected. ii) Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. iii) The treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of grouting in concrete. iv) Cost of providing and fixing of injection nipples will be paid for separately under relevant item.

Chipping of unsound/weak reinforced cement concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type of approved make at all lifts including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities, cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes, disposal of debris within 2 Km lead, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge

25mm average thickness

Providing anti corrosive treatment to steel reinforcement by removing the rust from corroded reinforcement and applying anti-corrosive chemicals as per specification including cleaning of reinforcement from rust to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover with paint brush, removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush, thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, applying anticorrosive coating, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Bars upto 12 mm diameter

Providing and fixing of 10mm dia shear connectors/ steel reinforcement in reinforced or plain cement concrete by drilling 12mm dia holes at 1mtr c/c or as specified with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 75mm and upto 200mm in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars/ shear connectors including drilling holes, fixing the steel bars in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Note:- The cost of steel reinforcement will be paid for seperately under relevant item)

Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations and all lifts using SBR Polymer modified plain/ reinforced cement concrete for structural members having minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 10mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] with specified average thickness including preparing the dismantled concrete surface by hacking the surface for better adhesion, treating the exposed steel reinforcement using approved chemicals, providing additional reinforcement, if any required, applying bond coat, filling/plastering with polymer modified concrete repair mortar in layers using approved polymers, curing, cleaning of floor/windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Cost of additional reinforcement, shear keys, form work and anticorrosive treatment will be paid for separately under relevant item)

Repairs to internal/ external plastering over brick work/ concrete at all locations and all lifts using Polymer modified cement repair mortar including preparing the surface by hacking the surface for better adhesion, providing glass fibre mesh or chicken reinforcement, if any required, applying bond coat, filling/plastering with polymer modified repair mortar in layers using approved polymers, curing, cleaning of floor/windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

12mm average thickness - Plain plaster

20mm average thickness - Plain plaster

19mm average thickness Rough cast plaster (7 mm thick rough cast in C.M 1.3 using 6 mm and below size granite chips over 12 mm thick base coat)

Repairs to the wall and ceiling cracks by chipping and removing the damaged portion upto 20 to 30mm deep, 100 to 200mm wide and plastering with CM 1:3 including making grooves over cracks, grouting with cement slurry or approved crack filling compound, providing Glass fibre mesh, applying necessary approved quality bonding chemicals, finishing the surface, curing, white washing two coats, disposing the debris within 2Kms lead etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Repairing and rectifying the minor repair works in CM 1:3 like wall cracks, floor cracks, spalling of mortar on sides of doors, windows, wall and door joints, including the cost of materials, T&P etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing Steel work welded in built up sections and framed work at all lifts comprising Chequered plates, MS angles, other structural steel sections, etc., of TATA or SAIL or approved equivalent make including cutting, welding, bending to shape, painting exposed faces with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer / zinc phosphate primer, embedding with Cement concrete, if necessary, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings. [Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist and concrete embedment's for fixing the steel works. ]

In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladders, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

Supplying, fabricating and fixing of Foundation bolts for fixing truss made up of MS/TMT bars of approved dia. including cutting, bending to required shape, making thread of required pitch, providing suitable bolt, embedding in RCC using templates, fixing the bolts, painting the entire bolt with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer / zinc phosphate primer as per manufacturer instructions, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and laying of one course of Cool Roof tiles over roof slab / sloped surface of terrace and skirting using tiles of size 300x300mm and 10mm (±1mm) thick of make Johnson, Somany, Thermatek or other approved equivalent make with SRI (Solar Reflectance Index) > 78, Solar reflection > 0.70 & initial remittance >0.75 laid on 20mm thick bed on Cement mortar 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing admixture including removal of dead mortar from roof slab, cleaning the surface, exposing floor & wall function along parapet and column if any, applying SBR based bond coat at floor and wall junction, sealing the floor & wall junction with water proofing mortar, laying screed concrete in CC 1:2:4 to form slope and haunch portion along parapet, if any required including laying tiles with required slope as per manufacturer specification, grouting the joints with approved tile grout, etc., all complete as per manufacturer Specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - i) Bond Coat: Applying SBR based bond coat at parapet wall and floor junction for a width of 150mm on either side of the junction of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or Ultratech (Xtracrete). Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. ii) Integral Water proofing Admixture: Mixing of integral water proofing admixtures in recommended proportion conforming to IS 2645 of make Sika (Plastocrete-Plus) or FOSROC (Conplast-WL) or FAB Chemical (Mixflow-WP) or Bostik (Bostik-LW) or Ultratech (Cretepro). Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. iii) Cost of screed concrete in CC 1:2:4 will be paid for separately under relevant item.

Providing and laying Cementitious water proofing treatment system comprising of bond coat, top screed concrete including preparation of surface by chipping/dismantling the existing loose surfaces/ roof tiles with bed mortar, cleaning the surface by washing throughout, filling the cracks using approved crack fillers, injection/ grouting the cracks where ever required with cement slurry using suitable water proofing admixtures, applying bond coat, finishing the top with 20mm thick IPS flooring with water proofing admixtures, leak test, curing, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- i) Cost of dismantling the existing tiles and bed concrete, grouting the cracks if any required will be paid separately under relevant item. ii) This treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of waterproofing treatment, authorized trained applicator should be used and certificate should be submitted before commence the work. iii) This work shall be executed at inaccessible terrace at a height of upto 11m. Aluminium mobile tower scaffolding having double width platform with stairway as directed by EIC shall be provided by the contractor to access the working area during execution of work. iv) Five years guarantee from the date of completion of maintenance period shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed format of the department for the workmanship and the materials provided. v) 50% (Fifty percent) of security deposit will be retained as performance security for the guarantee period and the same will be released after successful completion of the guarantee period i.e., after five years to be reckoned from the date after the maintenance period prescribed in the contract.

Providing and fixing in position Aluminium partitions, doors, windows, ventilators, louvers, fixed glazing, sliding windows north light glazing, sliding shutter 'E' Channel, trellis, etc., using heavy duty standard anodized aluminium extruded sections, anodized aluminium sheets as per relevant IS code of "JINDAL" or approved equivalent make including pivots, approved door and window handles, door stopper, EPDM gasket, neoprene gasket lining, stainless steel screw, mastic filling, weather strips, washers, reinforcing the door shutters at top and bottom with MS rod threaded and fixed to vertical members, etc., as required and as per drawing etc., all complete at all heights and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: 1. Payment shall be made on the basis of weight of aluminium members/section fabricated and actually installed in position without extra allowance for wastage no extra payment shall be made for non-aluminium consumable items like screws, gasket, weather strips PVC/Neoprene lining, sliding wheels for windows, in built tower bolt, reinforcing rods, etc., 2. Glazing, particle boards, Aluminium grills, mesh etc., will be paid separately under relevant items. 3. All fittings except under Note-1 will be paid separately under relevant item and the fittings shall be of matching colour anodized aluminium sections. 4. The aluminium section shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required cleat angles at no extra cost. 5. The aluminium section shall be anodized with "MATT FINISH" (15 micron thick) finishing and of approved shade/colour with the approval of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing Aluminium butt hinges of size 125 x 75 x 4mm conforming to IS : 205 of make 'Classic or Crown' or approved equivalent make including anodised transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, fixing with necessary CP screws, etc., all complete as per specification.

Providing and fixing IS:204 marked Aluminium tower bolts of size 150x12mm of make 'Classic or Crown' or approved equivalent make including anodised transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, fixing with necessary CP screws, etc., all complete as per specification.

Providing and fixing ISI marked Aluminium sliding door bolts (Aldrops) of size 250x16mm 'Classic or Crown or Global' or approved equivalent make as per IS 2681 including anodised transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, fixing with 5 Nos of clip and staple with necessary CP screws etc., all complete as per specification.

Providing and fixing IS:208 marked aluminium handles of size 125mm x 12mm dia. of make 'Classic or Crown or Global' or approved equivalent make including anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS :1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, fixing with necessary SS screws etc., all complete as per specification.

Providing and fixing in position of built in Mortice lock with pair of Key of "GODREJ" or approved make for aluminium doors including cutting the frame and fixing with necessary screw etc., complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position of Ultra Vertibolt XL+ operable by key from outside and by knob from inside of "Godrej" (1CK - Texture brown) or approved equivalent make with four keys including fixing in door with necessary screws etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

White / Colour washing Two Coat of lime solution using shell lime of approved quality admixed with glue, ultra marine etc., on existing surfaces of walls and ceiling at all lifts including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding, removing nails, brooming down the surfaces for removing cobwebs, smoke dirt etc., filling the holes, cracks, crevices with Snowfilla or other suitable filler materials, covering the furniture by suitable covering materials, cleaning/removal of white washing splashing and dropping from floors, doors & windows, electrical fixtures, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Painting all internal faces of walls / plastered surfaces with Two coats of Interior Emulsion paint of make Asian (Tractor) / Berger (Bison) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of interior wall primer of make Asian (Professional) / Berger (BP Primer) or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces by scrapping the existing white wash / colour wash using scrapping machine with dust free vacuum collection system, cleaning the existing white wash/colour wash area, roughening the surface, washing the area thoroughly with lime and soda mix or other approved chemical by using high pressure washer, preparing the surface dust free, applying approved make wall care putty wherever required to make surface smooth without porous as per manufacturer specifications, applying primer coat, the dust accumulated during scrapping shall be collected in appropriate dust bin collector/ equipment and disposed with in an initial lead, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: The sample shall be got approved by the EIC before making bulk order.)

Providing Painting over all exposed surfaces at all heights over rough cast plaster/plain plaster with Two Coats of premium exterior emulsion paint of make Asian (APEX - Dust proof exterior emulsion) / Berger (Anti dustt weather coat) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian / Berger or other approved equivalent make including including preparation of surfaces by scrubbing / cleaning the fungus / stains, cleaning with water, filling the cracks with approved crack filler and including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, curing, scaffolding at all lifts, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Painting over Plain Plaster at all lifts.

Painting over Rough cast Plaster at all lifts.

Painting doors, windows, grills, rolling shutter and pipe lines with one coat of Synthetic Enamel paint of Asian or other approved make and colour at all lifts including cost of all materials, scaffolding, labour, preparing the surfaces for receiving the paint by scraping, rubbing applying wood filler etc., as per specification.

Painting Two coats of enamel (marker) paint of approved colour on the face of the wall/ Display Boards including paint two coats over a coat of primer, labours, scaffolding, applying wall care putty wherever required to making surface smooth, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the EIC.

Numbering the substataion/Transformer/feeder pillar by writing letters/ numbers/ symbols with enamel (Marker) paint of approved colour on the face of the wall/ Display Boards using templates and stencil cutting, including cost of materials, labours, scaffolding, applying wall care putty wherever required to making surface smooth, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the EIC.

Providing and fixing 110mm OD best quality SWR uPVC pipes - Type A (suitable for ventilation work and rain water applications) conforming to IS: 13592 - latest edition with ISI mark including moulded fittings/specials such as bends, shoes, etc., jointing with seal ring conforming to IS - 5382 leaving 10mm gap for thermal expansion, fixing to the wall with adequate no. of PVC clips for rain water down take pipes etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Refixing the 110mm dia size of existing Rain water pipes which have come out from its original position due to decay of teak wood plug/packing piece, rusted GI clamps including providing new Teak wood plug/packing piece, fixing with new GI clamp with necessary screws, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer

Dismantling Plain cement concrete/Brick bat coba at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Reinforced cement concrete at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling RR Masonry in cement mortar at all lifts including clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling structural steel work in builtup sections for trusses, rafters, purlins, etc., including dismembering and stacking within 100 metres lead at stacking at GSO Maintenance store, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Disposal of surplus excavated earth / Debris exceeding 1 Km but not exceeding 2 Kms by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Labour charges for removing solar panels including clearing the rusted mounting fasteners, disconnecting the cables, carrying and safe stacking within a lead of 50 meters, covering the stacked panels with PVC coated Tarpaulin of grade not less than 550 GSM as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of following SS fasteners for the assembly of steel members

A4 70 grade M8X25 mm SS bolt and Nut with spring and plate washers
