Engaging Consultant for Preparation of DPR for Pollution abatement and river front development along the banks of Thamirabarani River in Tirunelveli City Municipal Corporation

Providing the arrangements for the study shall consider the planned/proposed developments. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) shall be prepared based on site assessment, technical, financial, environmental, and social aspects, consisting of detailed designs, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings, bid documents, cost estimates, and specifications. A Topographic Survey shall be conducted along the entire Thamirabarani River stretch within the Corporation limits, covering the complete width of the river. A comprehensive Assessment of Pollution Sources shall be carried out to identify point and non-point sources of pollution along the river. Water Quality Analysis shall be performed at multiple locations and periodic intervals to establish baseline pollutant levels. Effluent Management measures shall be proposed to treat industrial and domestic wastewater, including recommendations for treatment plants, sewerage networks, and solid waste management. A Sewage Diversion Plan shall be designed for interception and diversion mechanisms to prevent untreated wastewater from entering the river. The consultant shall assist Tirunelveli City Municipal Corporation (TCMC) in obtaining all necessary state and central approvals for the project. The study and all required investigations shall be conducted in compliance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) of TNUIFSL. (excluding GST)
