FD-20) Opening/ Taking out existing unserviceable component such as front and rear legs (left or right side), front or rear rails, top rails, bottom stiffener including S&F of following new components, made out of well seasoned sheesham wood to the shape and size as shown on drawing for chair CBA/Writing complete all as shown on drawing and as directed.

(a) Front leg (left or right side) to chair,made out of well seasoned sheesham wood original shape & size as shown on drawing and as directed.

(b) Rear leg (left or right side) to chair, made out of well seasoned sheesham wood original shape & size as shown on drawing and as directed.

(c) Right or left front or back member of seats with canning holes as shown on drawing, made out of well seasoned sheesham wood original shape & size as shown on drawing and as directed.

(d) Bottom stiffener, made out of well seasoned sheesham wood original shape & size as shown on drawings and as directed.

Table Office Clerk Wooden/Table of Sorts: Taking out old Unserviceable components of Table office clerk/Table of sorts wooden and S&F following new components such as Table top, legs, drawer, cup board, cup board shutters, stiffner, short rail and long rail etc complete all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(a) Top New Top made from pre-laminated particle board 18/19 mm thick exterior grade one side teak face other side balancing white duly fixed with 4mm thick Teak wood beading around the Top rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(b) Legs New Legs to be made from seasoned shisham wood as per original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(c) Side Rail New Side rails to be made from seasoned shisham wood as per original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(d) Long Rail New Long rail to be made from seasoned shisham wood as per original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(e) Drawer New drawer to be made from seasoned sheesham wood plank 12 mm thick & ply wood commercial 6 mm thick as per original shape and size and as directed.

(f) Stiffner New stiffner made from seasoned sheesham wood as per drawing and as directed.

Table office Officers wooden :- Taking out old Unserviceable components of Table office officer wooden and S&F following new components complete all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(a) Top of size of table office Officer wooden 1800 mm x 1200 mm rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(b) Legs of table office officer wooden.

(c) Drawer of table office officer wooden.

(d) Cup Board : New cup board of table to be made from ply wood teak face 4 mm thick as per original shape and size rest all as per drawing & as directed.

(e) Cup Board Shutter: New shutter of table office officer wooden to be made out from pre laminated particle board 18/19 mm thick exterior grade one side teak face & other side balancing white fixing with 4 mm thick Teak wood beading in original shape & size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(f) Stiffner: New Stiffner made from seasoned shisham wood in original shape as per drawing and as directed.

Table Lab size 1830 mm x 760 mm x 800 mm

(a) Top:- Taking out old Unserviceable table top & S & F new top of table Lab size 1830 mm x 760 mm X 800 mm made out from 18/19 mm thick prelaminated partice board exterior grade one side laminated and other side balancing white and provided Teak wood beading 4mm thick around the top as per required original size and shape rest all as per drawing and directed.

(b) Front shutters of Cup Board:- Taking out old Unserviceable shutters and S & F new front shutters of cup board of wooden tables etc made out of 18/19 mm thick pre-laminated particle board exterior grade with one side decorative lamination and other side balancing white type of size 590 mm x 425 mm including two numbers mild steel butt hinges (medium weight) of size 50 mm one number aluminium anodised handle 75 mm long and one number aluminium anodised hasp & staple 50 mm in each shutter complete all as per drawing and as directed.

Table Lab size 1800 mm x 760 mm x 800 mm

(a) Top:- Taking out old Unserviceable top and S & F new top of table Lab size 1800 mm x 760 mm x 800 mm made out from 18mm thick prelaminated particle board 18mm thick one side decorative lamination and other side balancing white and provided Teak wood beading 4mm thick around the top as required original size and shape rest all as per drawing & as directed.

M&L for french polishing two coat on table office clerk/table of sorts (wooden) polished surface after preparation of surface by rubbing down all unevenness to smoothness with sand paper and well dusting the surface. The pores in the wood shall be filled with a filler made of paste of whitening in water or methylated spirit ( with a suitable pigment like burnt sienna etc) Material for french polishing shall be pure shellace varying from pale orange to lemon yellow colour free from resin and dirts shall be dissolved in methylated spirit at the rate of 0.15 Kg of shellac per litre of spirit conforming to IS- 348-1981suitable pigment be added to get the required colour. The polish shall then be applied by a pad of woolen cloth covered by a fine cloth. The pad shall be moistened with polish and rubbed hard on the surface in series of overlapping circles applying the polish sparingly but uniformly over the entire area to give an even surface. A trace of linseed oil on the face of the pad faciliatates this operation. The surface shall have uniform texture and high gloss.

CHAIR DINING / CHAIR WOODEN BOTTOM

(a) S&F new front leg of chair dinning / chair wooden bottom made of shisham wood of size and shape / pattern as in replacement of unserviceable / broken leg complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(b) All as per serial item No. 11.01 but rear leg of chair dinning / chair wooden bottom complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(c) All as per serial item No. 11.01 but front / rear / side rail of chair dinning / chair wooden bottom complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(d) M&L for re-polishing of complete exposed surface of chair dinning after preparation of surface with french polish (one or more coats as required) complete all as specified and directed.

(e) S&F seat of chair BK / chair wooden bottom made of 6 mm thick plywood of size and shape / pattern as in replacement of unserviceable plywood seat with and including tightening of joints by providing new screws and applying fevicol complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

TABLE PEG: -

(a) S&F of new table top made of pre-laminated particle board 18/19 mm thick exterior grade in teak finish duly covered with 4 mm thick 1st class hard wood (TEAK) beading as in replacement of unserviceable / broken top complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(b) S&F new leg of table peg made of shisham wood of size and shape / pattern as in replacement of unserviceable / broken leg complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(c) S&F new front / rear rail of table peg made of shisham wood of size and shape / pattern as in replacement of unserviceable / broken rail complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(d) S&F new side rail of table peg made of shisham wood of size and shape / pattern as in replacement of unserviceable / broken side rail complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(e) M&L for re-polishing of complete exposed surface of table peg after preparation of surface with french polish (one or more coats as required) complete all as specified and directed.

TABLE DRESSING LADIES (FD-259, FD-336) : -

(a) S&F 5 mm thick beveled edge looking mirror of size 1210 X 300 mm with teak wood frame complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(b) S&F PVC knobs complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(c) S & F as in replacement 6 mm thick BWR grade type BB, ply as in backside of table dressing complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(d) S&F glass shutter made of 4 mm thick glass complete all as specified, shown on drawing and directed.

(e) M&L for re-polishing of complete exposed surface of table dressing ladies after preparation of surface with french polish (one or more coats as required) complete all as specified and directed.

REPAIR TO SOFA SET 4/5 SEATERS (FD-18,FD-281): -

Removing of old tapestry cloth, Hessian cloth, lining cloth, cotton and coir fibre from old sofa set and S & F of new tapestry cloth, Hessian cloth, lining cloth, coir fabric and cotton including fixing of sides with screws as shown on drawing, tightening of serviceable springs and replacement of unserviceable springs as required (Approximate quantity 20%) complete all as per drawing, specified and directed.

NOTE: - Rate of tapestry cloth shall not be less than Rs. 250 per meter of standard width quality and shade shall be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of foam cushion of size 21” X 22” X 100 mm thick of 40 density duly covered with tapestry cloth of approved quality & shade as in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

POLISHING THE WOODEN FURNITURE: - M&L for re-polishing of complete old exposed surface of the following furniture items after preparation of surface with french polish (one or more coats as required) complete all as specified and directed:-

(a) Almirah large with shelves 1/2H, 1/2 shelves.

(b) Almirah medium with shelves 1/2H, 1/2 shelves.

(c) Sofa set of 5 pieces.

(d) Table bed side.

(e) Book case.

(f) Side board.

(g) Sofa set of 4 pieces.

(h) Centre Table

ALMIRAH STEEL LARGE/MED/SMALL (FD-1031, FD-1034)

(a) Taking out existing unserviceable locks from almirah Large/Med/Small steel & S&F new locks of Six levers of the same shape & size with duplicate keys complete all as shown on drawings and as approved by GE (I).

(b) Taking out broken/damaged handle of steel almirah and S&F new handle of mild steel chromium plated of same shape and size as specified and shown on drawing and as approved by GE (I).

(c) Taking down existing unserviceable shelves of almirah large steel and S&F of new steel shelves of same shape and size Made of 1 mm thick MS black sheet including Two coat of synthetic enamal paint OG over a coat of red oxide primer by spray machine complete all as specified in drawings and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(d) All as per serial Item No. 16.03 above but shelves of almirah Med/Small steel

(e) Taking out old unserviceable door hinges from almirah large / med /Small steel and S&F of new door hinges mild steel 75/80 mm long by welding rest all as specified and as directed.

(f) Taking down unserviceable cover of lock from almirah large/med/Small steel and S&F of new cover of locks of same shape and size all as specified and as shown on drawings.

(g) Taking down unserviceable locking devices & rod complete set from almirah large steel and S&F of new locking device complete as per same shape and size all as specified and as shown on drawings.

(h) All as per serial Item No. 16.07 above but Almirah Med/Small steel.

(j) Dismantling of unserviceable leg of Almirah large steel and S&F of new leg made of MS steel 1 mm thick complete of the same shape and size including welding to bottom of almirah large and painting the same with two coat of synthetic enemal paint of OG over a coat of red oxide primer by spray machine complete all as specified and as shown on drawings.

(k) All as per serial Item No. 16.09 above but Almirah Med /Small Steel

Preparation of existing painted surfaces any description exceeding 10 cm width or girth like almirah steel, Cabinate filling steel book case steel , Rack steel 7 shelves 3 side closed, Table Office Officer steel, table office clerk steel and cleaning with abrassive cloth etc removing of dirt filling of depression if any with putty preparing the surfaces smooth for painting with one coat of synthetic enameled paint olive green on both side glossy finish inside and out side by spray machine complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Chair Verandah (FD-333)

(a) Recanning of chair varandah matt pattern with 4 mm to 5 mm wide 0.5 mm thick half round new plastic cane cream/white colour conforming to sample kept in furniture yard as specified in drawing and as directed.

(b) M&L for welding of broken frame of chair Varandah as and where required as specified and as directed.

(c) M&L for painting of chair varandah with two coats of white synthetic enamel paint after preparing of old painted surface by scraping with abrasive cloth chair varandah complete all as specified and shown on drawing and as directed.

(d) Removing of old unserviceable mising hard PVC shoes to chair varandah and S&F new PVC hard shoes, rest all as per drawing and as directed.

Table office clerk Steel

(a) Taking out old unserviceable exisiting top of table office clerk Steel and S/F new top made out from pre laminated particle board 18/19 mm thick exterior grade duly fixed with 4 mm thick teak wood beading all around the top rest all asper drawing and as directed.

(b) Taking out old existing broken/damage leg of table office clerk steel and S&F new leg size 25mm x 25 mm square conduit pipe made from MS Sheet 1.6mm thick to make the table in original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(c) Taking out old existing broken/damage bottom stiffner and S&F new stiffner 25mm x 25 mm square conduit pipe 1.6mm thick by welding to the frame to make the table in original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(d) Taking out old exising broken / damage drawer of table office clerk steel and S&F of new drawer made from MS sheet 1mm thick to make original size and shape complete all as shown on drawing & as directed.

Table office officer Steel

(a) Taking out old unserviceable exisiting top of table office officer Steel and S&F new top made out from pre laminated particle board 18/19 mm thick exterior grade duly fixed with 4 mm thick teak wood beading all around the top rest all asper drawing and as directed.

(b) Taking out old existing broken/damage leg of table office officer steel and S&F new leg of size 25mm x 25 mm square conduit pipe made from MS Sheet 1.6mm thick to make the table in original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(c) Taking out old existing broken/damage bottom stiffner and S&F new stiffner 25mm x 25 mm square conduit pipe 1.6mm thick by welding to the frame to make the table in original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(d) Taking out old exising broken / damage drawer of table officer steel and S&F of new drawer made from MS sheet 1mm thick to make original size and shape complete all as shown on drawing & as directed.

(e) Taking out existing damage/broken Box and replace the same with MS sheet 1mm thick to make good its original shape and size rest all as shown on drawings and as directed.

(f) Taking out old exisitng damage/broken handle and supplying and fixing new Chromium plated handle shape and size rest all as shown on drawings and as directed.

CHAIR CBA STEEL (FD-75M)

(a) S&F new seats made out of well seasoned sheesham wood duly canned with 1/2 round plastic cane 2 mm wide 0.4 mm thick and border with 3.5 mm wide 0.5 mm thick for chair steel with arms after removing existing damage/broken seat complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

(b) S&F new back made out of well seasoned sheesham wood duly canned with 1/2 round plastic cane 2 mm wide 0.5 mm thick and border with 3.5 mm wide 0.5 mm thick for chair steel with arms after removing existing damage/broken back all as specified and shown on drawing.

(c) S&F new mild steel cleats of size 50 mm x 25 mm x 3 mm in replacement of old unserviceable cleats by welding to the frame complete of chair CBA steel with arms all as specified and shown on drawings.

(d) Removing of old existing unserviceable cap and S&F new PVC cap for chair steel tumbler with arms complete all as shown on drawings and as directed.

(e) Removing of unserviceable shoes and S&F new hard rubber shoes to chair steel tumbler with arms with appropriate screw all as specified and shown on drawings.

(f) Removing of old unserviceable arms and S&F new arms made out of well seasoned sheesham wood with steel screw of appropriate size complete of chair CBA steel with arms complete all as specified and shown on drawings

(g) Removing of existing paint by scraping with abrasive cloth and painting two coats of OG synthetic enamel paint on steel surface and preparation of surface complete all as shown on drawing and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

CHAIR CBB STEEL(FD-75M) : -

(a) S&F new seats made out of well seasoned sheesham wood duly canned with 1/2 round plastic cane 2 mm wide 0.4 mm thick and border with 3.5 mm wide 0.5 mm thick for chair CB B steel without arms after removing existing damage/broken seat all as specified and shown on drawing

(b) S&F new back made out of well seasoned sheesham wood duly canned with 1/2 round plastic cane 2 mm wide 0.4 mm thick and border with 3.5 mm wide 0.5 mm thick for chair CBB steel without arms after removing existing damage/broken back all as specified and shown on drawing.

(c) Removing of existing paint by scraping with abrasive cloth and painting two coats of OG synthetic enamel paint on steel surface and preparation of surface complete of chair CBB steel all as shown on drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(d) Taking down the old unserviceable medium/high back office chair / Visitor chair openning and repairing with replacement of unserviceable screws as per sample and replacement of side sport handle of any type all as per sample with allas required and directed at site.

(e) Taking down the old unserviceable medium/high back office chair opening and repairing with replacement of unserviceable hydraulic pressure unit with new one as per sample and fixing all a required and directed at site Make: Godrej/methodex/durian.

(f) Taking down the old unserviceable medium/high back office chair/Visitor chair foam with cover back side with fixing arrangements with replacement of unserviceable screws as per sample of any type all as per sample with all as required and directed at site Make: Godrej/methodex/durian

(g) Taking down the old unserviceable medium/high back office chair/Visitor chair foam with cover sitting side with fixing arrangements with replacement of unserviceable screws as per sample of any type all as per sample with all as required and directed at site. Make: Godrej/ methodex/ durian

Recanning of chair dinning/ chair writing/ chair CBA/Chair easy etc. complete

M&L for recanning of chair dinning/ chair writing/ chair CBA Godrej pattern with 2 mm wide 0.5 mm thick half round new plastic cane cream/white colour conforming to sample kept in furniture yard complete all as directed and as specified in drawings.

Bed Ply Top

Taking out old unserviceable exisiting plywood of GI charpai and Bed ply top and S/F new plywood of 12mm thick including fixing of plywood by suitable size of nut bolt complete all as specified and directed. Kitply/Archid/

Taking out old existing broken/damage leg of Bed ply top and New Legs to be made from seasoned shisham wood as per original shape and size complete all as specified and directed.

CENTRE TABLE:- Taking out old Unserviceable components of Centre Table wooden and S&F following new components such as Table top, legs, short rail and long rail etc complete all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(a) Top New Top made from pre-laminated particle board 18/19 mm thick exterior grade one side teak face other side balancing white duly fixed with 4mm thick Teak wood beading around the Top rest all as per drawing and as directed.

(b) Legs New Legs to be made from seasoned shisham wood as per original shape and size rest all as per drawing and as directed.
