REPAIR/MAINTENNACE OF EOT CRANE,FLAME PROOF LIGHTS,FITTING FIXTURES AND OTHER CONNECTED E/M WORKS AT VARIOUS LOCATION OF 18WG AT GE AF PATHANKOT.

Carrying out detailed inspection, survey and condition assessment of complete EOT crane of capacity 1 to 10 Ton including bridge girder, trolley, crab mechanism, hoisting unit, long travel and cross travel mechanisms, gear boxes, motors, brake assemblies, wheel assemblies, wire ropes, hook block, electrical control panel, pendant station, current collector system, flameproof equipment, earthing arrangement and all connected accessories, preparation of defect list, identification of worn-out components, submission of inspection report including all labour, T&P, consumables and incidental works complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of hoisting mechanism including removal of motor, brake assembly, gearbox coupling, wire rope drum, bearings and associated mechanical components for inspection and repair, refixing after completion of repair, including supply and fixing in replacement of minor hardware, nuts, bolts, spring washers and labour complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling, cleaning and refixing of trolley (cross travel) mechanism including wheel assemblies, bearings, drive shaft, motor coupling, lubrication and alignment after repair including supply and fixing in replacement of minor consumables, labour and incidental items complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling, servicing and refixing of long travel drive mechanism including gear coupling, drive shaft, wheel alignment, lubrication, replacement of minor hardware wherever required, testing and commissioning complete including materials and labour in replacement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of complete crane structure and mechanical assemblies including removal of accumulated grease, dust, carbon deposits and rust using approved cleaning chemicals, wire brushes, compressed air and cleaning solvents, complete including labour, consumables and disposal of debris all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note for 1 to 5 :- (a) Checking / repair , lubricating , testing as per manufacturers instruction shall be carried out as and when asked by the Deptt as well as complaint received from user side well within 24 hours from date of complaint and test sheet shall be submitted to Engr-in- Charge to ensure smooth safe and efficient operation of crane else recovery of Rs 1000 per day shall be recovered. (b) Spare parts/ gear oil shall be measured and paid sepreately . (c) A Job will be considered for a period of one months for each EOT Crane to keep the crane functional.

Supply and fixing in replacement of minor hardware including HT bolts, nuts, washers, split pins, spring washers, locking plates, keys, cotter pins and miscellaneous fasteners required during dismantling and reassembly, complete including materials and labour in replacement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Lubrication of complete crane using approved grade grease and lubricating oil for bearings, gear couplings, wheel assemblies, sheaves, rope drum bearings and all moving parts including cleaning of old grease, application of fresh lubricant and operational checking complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Loading, unloading and shifting of dismantled crane components from site to repair area and back including chain pulley blocks, lifting tackles, labour, transportation within station premises, stacking and safe handling complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of identification tags, ferrules, cable markers, danger notices, equipment labels and numbering plates including engraving, fixing and updating identification records complete including all materials and labour all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Initial testing and operational checking after dismantling and reassembly including insulation resistance test, continuity test, brake operation, travel movement, hoisting movement, limit switch operation, emergency stop, phase sequence verification and preparation of test report complete including labour, testing instruments and consumables all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
