Material and labour for scrubbing, cleaning thoroughly for removing the dirts, sediments, silts etc from the internal surfaces of UG sump (bottom & wall) by using brushes and bleaching powder and other cleaning materials as required including pumping arrangement for drain out the water,and applying two coats of lime wash inside the wall surface of the tanks including writing the words " MILITARY ENGINEER SERVICES, TANK CAPACITY AND DATE OF CLEANING" in capital letters of suitable size on outside visible place of UG sump with synthetic enamel paint (white )over black back ground and two coats of colour washing(colour should be light yellow) of outside surface of Under ground sump of capacity 50000 gallons ,and all the steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (colour should be Blue)after preparation of the surfaces at BM school pump house complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying and testing in trenches centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron pipes of 100 mm dia suitable for pressurized water delivery with spigot & socket end, class 'K-7' conforming to IS:8329/2000 (latest version) - blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for (push on) rubber gasket jointing with inside cement mortar lining and black bitumen external coating, duly ISI marked incl. taking down old u/s DI/CI pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work, DI fittings, will be measured and paid separately under relevant items this sch.

Material and labour for ISI marked ductile iron flange fittings as per IS: 9523/2000 of class K-12, PN-16 for pressurized water delivery with inside Cement Mortar lining and outside zinc followed by black bitumen coating for 100mm dia to 200 mm dia such as bends, Tapers tale pieces, Tee pieces (single branch) Y junction double branch,cross collars, caps and plug set including rubber gasket joints and taking down old unserviceable item complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rubber gasket (pushon) joint of same make of DI pipe having two section of diferent hardness for DI pipe spigot & socket ends and fittings of bore dia 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate inclusive of necessary earth work excavation up to 1.5M depth

Taking down old unserviceable PPR gate valves of size 25/32mm dia

Supply and fix, in replacement of 25 mm bore PP-R Gate valves (brassinsert) as per requirement of the site , complete all as specified and as directed .

Construction of brick masonary pits of internal dimension 0.6 mtr x 0.6 mtr x 0.6 mtr in cement mortar 1:4 (bottom PCC floor of the pits should be minimum 15cm below the bottom surface of Gun metal globe valve to provide sufficient working space) bottom floor the pit to be constructed in PCC (1:3:6) 15cms thick with 20mm stone aggregate, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered in CM (1:4) 15mm thick. The Gun metal globe valve and other fittings should be housed in centre of the pit. The cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet min 3.00 mm thick with angle iron frame made out of 50mmx 50mm x6mm with galvanized steel hinges one nos and locking arrangement duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down from site old unserviceable foot valve PVC/CI foot valves of size 50/80/100/150/200mm dia

Supply and fix PVC body foot valve 50mm bore spring which ever be required for fixing including making good disturbed surface and taking out old cast iron/brass foot valve from the suction side of the pump set from the sump etc. complete all as specified and direct at site.
