SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames, wooden/PVC doors/steel ventilator) area not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area exceeding 1.50 sqm but not exceeding 4 Sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out 5mm thick plain clour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube including painting of edges to match with sheet, all as specified & shown in relevant drawing of item No. 8095 in MES Schedule SSR-2020 (Part-II), fixed in opening using MS screw 75mm long with PVC fastener including making good disturbed wall surfaces (brick, plastering, tiles and painting work as per existing) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing factory made solid core PVC door shutter 30mm thick (stiles) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes of 19mm gauge thickness and size of 19mmx19mm for stiles and for top and bottom rails 15mmx15mm. MS frame shall have a coat of red oxide primer of approved make and shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC sheet, 'C' channel of size 30x50mm forming stiles and 5mm thick wide PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles, and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side and 10mm (5x2mm) thick, 20mm thick PVC sheet to be fitted in MS frame welded/ sealed to the stiles and rails with 30mm wide x 5mm thick PVC sheet beading on either side and joined together with solvent cement adhesive and an additional 5mm thick PVC strips of 20mm width is to be stuck on interior side of C channel using PVC solvent adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions, door to be fixed to frame with and including 3 Nos MS powder coated butt hinges heavy duty of size 75mm long x 25mm wide and 2mm thick and 32mm long steel screws drilled suitable to pass through both the walls of the MS tube complete all as specified in SSR-2009 (Part-I, specifications) & shown in relevant drawing of item No. 8080 in SSR-2020 (Part-II, rates). The width of stiles & rails will be in proportion to the width of the door shutter as specified in SSR-2020 (Part-II). complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing 100mm long Aluminium anodised, barrel tower bolts of extruded section and fixed complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing stainless steel butt hinges 100mm, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 100mm long Aluminium handles, cast type, anodised, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing factory made 125 x 60mm pressed steel frames, thickness of sheet 1.25mm for doors with one or more rebates including supply and fixing necessary lugs and lock strike plate, etc. , including fixing butt hinges suitable Nos as directed for each leaf, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply only.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping/packing around chequered tiles/interlocking tiles/PCC jalli/chowkhat & similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing factory made glazed and skeleton shutter, 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood open rebated (two panels as approved) and prepared to receive glass, gauge etc, without sash bars, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc. Sizes of members as specified in SSR Part-I, Section 8 and fitted to chowkhats, menbers shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Primer shall be measured paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing factory made plain framed panelled shutters (two panels as approved), 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood with lock rail and panel inserts of 12mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rails and styles as per IS-1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401, including 2nd class soft wood kail beading 20mm wide tapering from 10mm to 5mm on one side and also fitted to chowkhat complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Primer shall be measured paid separately under appropriate item (painting) of BOQ.

Supply only 100mm long powder coated mild steel butt hinges medium weight cold rolled complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing mild steel barrel tower bolt stove enamelled black with bright bolt 200 mm long, fixed complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing mild steel pressed handle of size 150mm, oval type stove enamelled black complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing mild steel sliding door bolts 300mm long, plate type, stove enameled black, with bright bolt not less than 12mm dia with and including a minimum of 6 bolts and nuts washers, four on bolt plate and two on staple plate complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing 150mm long Floor door stopper of aluminium alloy body and tongue, anodised, with hard drawn steel spring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing mild steel 300mm long rat tail rod pattern spring including roller and roller plate and fixing to wooden frame with screw complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing, factory made steel window confirming to IS 1038 with side hung shutters including projecting type hinges, with steel handle, steel peg stay, complete, dovetailed welded, with glazing bars including fixing of lugs in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast and making good disturbed area of walls and cills to match the existing surfces by bricks / plastering works and painting work etc complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing, factory made steel window confirming to IS 1038 with side hung shutters including projecting type hinges, with steel handle, steel peg stay, complete, dovetailed welded, without glazing bars including fixing of lugs in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast and making good disturbed area of walls and cills to match the existing surfces by bricks / plastering works and painting work etc complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing, factory made steel ventilators all as per IS 1038/83, with top hung shutters including hinges, suitable steel handle, steel peg stay, fixing lugs in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast and making good disturbed area of walls and cills to match the existing surfces by bricks/plastering works and painting work etc complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frame including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/spring clips, oil putty complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing and cutting as per size requirement 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality in squares/retangular not exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane and fixed in any type of doors / windows / ventilators (openable/fixed type) with fixing material complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing galvanized mild steel wire cloth 0.56mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18mm fixed with tinned tack or galvanised wire staples complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for Preparation of new wooden or wood based surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor/plinth surface by picking and prepare the surface to receive the PCC, sweeping cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 300mmx 200mm / 450mmX 300mm, 7mm to 8mm thick, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick (Av thickness) bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, as in floor, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing drapery curtain rod 19/20mm dia, fabricated out of mild steel pipe with PVC coateing (ABS), wall thickness of pipe not less than 20 guage, including fancy type brackets and pair of decorated end knobs (finials), stop roller etc, fixed to wall for doors and windows cuttings as required and fixing at site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces including mixing of liquid WPC in mortar @ 200ml per bag of cement of 50kg, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only)

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) on any face of ceiling, finished fair and even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other means, and preparing the surfaces smooth by applying white cement based putty to make the surface even and smooth by using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper (washable), as approved tint/colour by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered or concrete surface of wall by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls/pillars/cornices by scraping down with using mechanical sander machine (including provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, brooming and washing down and preparing the surfaces smooth and after that applying average 3mm thick layer (1.5mm thick each in two layer application) of white cement based putty (wall care putty, make Birla JK or equvilent as approved by Engineer-in-charge), after applying putty first and second coat sanding the surface as per requirement by using mechanical sander machine to make the surface even and smooth upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and after prepare the surface smooth applying two coats of oil bound distemper (washable) as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush or roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - Each stage i.e after complete removal and before applying OBD as specified above, the surface shall be passed in writing by the Enigineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls / pillars / cornices by scraping down with using steel patti wire/ brush / sand papering or by any other mean, remove / scraping down all loose particle, smoke soot, moulds, moss & efflorescent salts, oil & greasy spots etc brooming all dust and washing down with water including applying white cement based putty where required for filling to depressions/nail holes/light cracks etc and to make surface even and smooth and also using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) on uneven surface to make the surface even and smooth (before and after applying putty as per site situation) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surface smooth applying two coats of cement base paint as per approved tint/colour with using paint brush/roller brush, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - Complete removal /scraping to old existing treatment as directed by Engineer-in-charge, each stage i.e after complete removal and before applying CBP as specified above, the surface shall be passed in writing by the Enigineer-in-charge in site order book.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surface of walls / pillars / cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other mean and preparing the surface smooth, applying one coat of exterior emulsion primer as priming coat and after that applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint (Apex paint / wheather coat, 100% exterier grade), by using paint brush / roller brush as approved tint/colour complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered or concrete surface of ceiling by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge

Material and labour for preparing old plastered or concrete surface of ceiling by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge

Demolition and Digging out sunken floor filling including taking out unserviceable WC and removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for sunken treatment to sunken floor, cleaning the surface by wire brush, rendering to floor and sides with 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) including supply and mixing of WPC in mortar @ 3% of cement content, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, after that material and labour Providing for applying two coats of two component (1 part Liquid: 2 part Powder) ready to use cementitious waterproof coating on properly prepared surface by brush having elongation of >50% for the applying water proofing treatment as per following on horizontal and verticle surfaces of sunken floor complete all as per manufacture instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Applying 1st coat of two components modified polymer coating . (ii) Provn of glasses fiber mess of 2x2mm immediately on alone coating. (iii) Applying 2nd coat of two components modified polymer coating after 72hrs on horizontal and verticle surfaces. Make : Dr Fixit/Fosroc/BASF/STP NOTE:- (i) Complete treatment to be carried out by authorised applicator. (ii) Before, as work proceed and after completion of each process of treatment take colour photograph and keep in safe custody of Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 30mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in floor, sunken floor etc, including supply and mixing of WPC in mortar @ 3% of cement content, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for PCC (1:7:12) type F2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as loose filling of sunken floors complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour in repair for 100 mm bore cast iron soil waste and vent pipe (sand cast pipe ) in any length with or without ears, laid in trenches or in floor jointing with cement mortar including taking down old onserviceable pipe, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material & Labour for 100 mm bore cast iron soil waste and vent pipe (sand pipe ) in any length with or without ears, fixed to wall with stack clamps (interval of 1m) made out of FI 50x5mm and 16mm dia round iron stay and jointing with cement mortar including dismantling/taking down old pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material & Labour in repair for 75 mm bore cast iron soil waste and vent pipe (sand cast pipe ) in any length with or without ears, laid in trenches or in floor jointing with cement mortar including taking down old onserviceable pipe, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material & Labour for 75 mm bore cast iron soil waste and vent pipe (sand pipe ) in any length with or without ears, fixed to wall with stack clamps (interval of 1m) made out of FI 50x5mm and 16mm dia round iron stay and jointing with cement mortar including dismantling/taking down old pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing PVC (SWR) bends (any radius) suitable for 110mm bore pipe fixed to walls or laid in floor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement cromium plated shower rose 125mm size, with or without swivel joints, any size, including fixing to steel pipe or union complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement bib tap cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle with capstan head, wall flange, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply and fixing in replacement stop valve/angle valve cast copper alloy, fancy type, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed both end for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing in repair 450 mm long PVC connection 15mm size with PTMT nuts complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement vitreous china wash basin, white, flat back of size 550mm x 400mm, including 32mm chromium plated waste coupling and PVC waste pipe including bracket and cutting for and pinning in end of bracket or erecting including fixing only pillar tap (new or serviceable old pillar tap as per site condition ) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Pillar tap if required in replacement, shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only under appropriate item of BOQ.)

Supply and fixed in repair pillar tap cast copper alloy with capstan head, chromium plated, fancy type, high pressure with or without letter 'Hot' or 'Cold' with long shank and fly nuts screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of tap shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS

Supply & fixing in repair brass chromium plated tubular towel rail 20mm dia 'D' type, 600mm long between flanges fixed to plug, Cat part No. CAN -1101S of Jaquar or Equivalent make mentioned in Appendix 'A' of PSS-II complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement MS chromium plated, soap tray approximate size 160mmx160mm, including fixing to wall with CP screws and PVC plug complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement 10 litres capacity PVC valveless syphonic action type low level flushing cistern white with inlet, ball valve, float, handle including brackets and 32mm dia PVC flush pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair vitreous China squatting pan 'Orissa' pattern white of size 580mmx440mm with integral foot rests (excluding flushing cistern, flush pipe above floor and trap), including demolation of tile, PCC, taking out old WC, taking out lime concrete filling and after fixing new WC re filling lime concrete (1 lime, 2 sand or surkhi and 5 aggretate), min. 150mm thick all round and finished just below level of rim of pan to receive the floor finishing, including fixing PVC flush pipe upto finished floor level, joints of flush pipe and trap make leakproof and testing before filling concrete and including all other connected work as required upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. (NOTE : Tile work with screed shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Supply & fixing rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank white colour of capacity 500 litres (cylindrical vertical, triple layered with closed top), hoisted and fixed in position including making inlet and out let connection and fixing ball valve and gate valve including dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable PVC water storage tanks of any description complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Float valve and gate valve shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only under appropriate item of BOQ.)
