REPAIR TO APP MEMRANE AND WATERPROOFING OF ROOF TOPS, PARAPETS, CRUMBLES AND RAIN BEATING IN OTHER THAN HOSPITAL BUILDINGS AT INHS ASVINI

Demolition of Unreinforced cement concrete of any type, manually or by mechanical means, including loading, transportation, and disposal of dismantled material to the designated low-lying area, complete, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:The quoted rate shall be deemed to include dismantling and removal of the existing roof treatment system, wherever encountered, such as mud phuska, brick tile coba, PCC tiles, APP membrane, heat-resistant tiles, elastomeric coating/paint, or any other existing roof treatment, to expose the RCC roof slab surface. The rate shall also include careful dismantling and re-fixing/reinstallation of solar panels, wherever required, complete with all necessary handling, labour, tools and tackles, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Plain cement concrete, type B-0, 1:2:4 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate, as in roof padding, including use and waste of all temporary fillets, side forms, and screed strips to divide area into panels, including leveling, consolidation, and curing, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick Ready Mix plaster (1:3) finishing with "Instant Neeru" on faces of concrete surfaces on RCC roof slab and parapets/external wall surfaces with WPC @3% by weight of cement or as per manfacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : WPC will be measured under separate item of schedule.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

Materials and Labour for Roof Treatment to RCC Roof, comprising the following:(a) Surface Preparation: Preparing the RCC roof surface to receive the waterproofing treatment by removing all dust, dirt, laitance, oil, grease, wax, loose plaster, loose concrete, old waterproofing treatment, existing felt, APP membrane, elastomeric coating, or any other foreign matter, ensuring a clean, dry, sound and dust-free surface, complete, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Repair of Defective Areas Repairing slab and parapet wall junctions, cracks, honeycombs, blowholes and other defective portions by cutting/opening cracks in 'V' groove, cleaning thoroughly and filling with cement mortar 1:4 mixed with Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) bonding agent as per manufacturer's recommendations. The repaired cracks/junctions shall be reinforced with 45 GSM fibre mesh embedded in SBR-cement slurry, complete, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (c) Polyurethane (PU) Elastomeric Liquid Waterproofing Membrane System: Providing and applying a high-build, single-component Polyurethane (PU) elastomeric liquid waterproofing membrane suitable for exposed RCC roofs, having solids content not less than 80%, Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) not less than 109 as per ASTM E1980, tear strength not less than 20 N/mm as per ASTM D624, and tensile strength not less than 2 N/mm² as per the manufacturer's tested values. The waterproofing system shall comprise one coat of compatible primer (or SBR primer diluted in the ratio of 1:5 with water, wherever recommended by the manufacturer), followed by application of the first coat of PU membrane at a minimum consumption of **0.65 litre/sq m** while the primer is tacky. A **45 GSM fibre mesh** shall be embedded in the first coat with a minimum overlap of **50 mm** in both irections. After adequate curing of the first coat, two additional coats of PU membrane shall be applied at a minimum consumption of **0.65 litre/sq m per coat**, ensuring complete and uniform coverage. The completed waterproofing system shall achieve a **minimum Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of 1.50 mm**, including all materials, labour, tools and tackles, surface preparation, application, curing and all incidental works, complete, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note- Works shall be carried out through authrised applicator of water proofing only, each stages shall be recorded in a stage passing register which shall be duly in endosed by the einc before payement of RAR.

M&L for Taking up or down steel tubing 15 mm mm dia and connections, in walls, floors, roofs or in trenches and in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note- Work shall be carried through authrised applicator of PU only. Stage passing register for each stage shall be prepared and duly kept on records signed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Taking up or down steel tubing 20 mm mm dia and connections, in walls, floors, roofs or in trenches and in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Taking up or down steel tubing 25 mm mm dia and connections, in walls, floors, roofs or in trenches and in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & fixing of galvanised steel (GI) water tubing, medium grade, 15 mm dia, with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, tees, unions, etc.), including fixing complete to walls, ceilings, roofs, and in floors or laid in trenches, including cutting/chiesealing chases in walls and floors for concealment and making good, and including pipe supporting clamps suitable for 15 mm dia at 1.5 m centre-to-centre, including necessary scaffolding, complete all as specified and directed. Note- Clamping arrangements shall be measured and paid separately.
