Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, cables and pipes etc. n exc 10sq m on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas in soft/loose soil, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in soft/loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm with Hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m abovethe starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting including watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber, to 98% modified proctor density at optimum moisture content, keeping roller wheels wet, if required, filling in hollows and depressions to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing, laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) granular sub base course (GSB) grading as per grade-II specified table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications of road and bridge works 2013 in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination there of as per the requiremen. The material mechnaically mixed spread and levling on the sub grade and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieveing required compaction density of atleast 98% of the miximum dry density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerance as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications of road and bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm WMM in two layer 75 mm each (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam manufactured in WMM plant. Each layer compacted separately (as per Table 400-12 and 400-13 of MORTH&H specification for Road and Bridge works) with crushed stone aggregate specified grading spreading and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing, laying and compacting 100 mm thick dry lean concrete (DLC) of aggregate gradation as per Table 1 of SP-49-2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7 Mpa. Minimum cement content not less than 140 Kg/Cum DLC mixed in Batching plant, transported to site and laid including spreading and compacting using high amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) futher by doubl;e drum smooth wheeled vibratory roller with 80-100 KN static weight to achieved minimum dry y less than 98% of maximum dry density, necessary finishing etc complete all as specified and tolerance to be table 900-1 of MoRTH specifiecations for road and bridge work 2013. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 5.0mm thick and cushion with clean river san duly clear of residual, organic arid deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer as specified and directed (No additional amount to be paid for overlap). complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for high density polythene film ( transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness of virgin quality (as per ASTM D-2103, IS-2508) , non-recycled laid with side and end overlapping not less than 300mm complete all as specified and directed. Note :(i) Coarse Sand layer shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Measurement shall be for net area. Quoted rate shall be deemed to include overlapping of polythene film.

M&L for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) thickness upto 250mm with minimum field Flexural Strength of 45 Kg/Sqcm lower control limit (LCL) at 28 days in pavement slab using min 400 Kg of cement per cum (only 43 grade OPC must be used in PQC) mixed with non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement by mech means at the rate of 0.25% by weight of cement per cum of PQC. The max size of aggregate in PQC must be 31.5mm and gradation (as per Table 600-3 of MORTH Specification) including formwork for laying in bays, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note :- (i) Expansion joints, Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. No deduction shall be made in computing PQC for Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints. (iii) Finishing coat shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) For the purpose of pricing this item, cement content shall be considered 400 Kg/Cum. Minus price adjustment @ Rs 8 per Kg for cement shall be made to the quoted rates in case quantity of cement is less than 400 Kg/ Cum. However no plus price adjustment shall be made to the quoted rate in case quantity of cement is more than 400 Kg/ Cum. (v) The cost of admixture required as per design mix shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) Non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective item of BOQ. (vii) Design mix for PQC shall be got carried out by the contractor from NABH accedredited IIT/NIT/Govt Engg College/Govt approved Lab and shall be got approved by GE before commencement of cement concrete work in PQC/hardstanding.

Supply only non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres of length 12mm to 18mm, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable alkali resistant, equivalent diameter 15 to 40 micron, minimum melting temperature 250°C and minimum tensile strength 300M Pa be used upto 0.25% by weight of cementn complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 25mm thick expension joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subseqyent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, staigth and smooth edges. Joint cleand thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-molded 25mm thickcompressible polyethylene closed cell type filler boad as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interv al of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant, Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polythylene based sealant backup rod of 30mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN 41875-2003 with minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 years performance guaranteee, applying masked tape on edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for forming construction joint, 25 mm deep and 10 mm wide early entry saw and subsequent cutting by suing diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, staight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt. oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant, Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polythylene foam backup rod of 12 mm ndia, application of bond breaker tape on topof backup rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying for complete with BS_5212, BS-4254 and EN 41875-2003 with minimum movement acoomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 years performance guarantee, applying masked tape on edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for forming dummy/contraction join with an initial saw cut of 3 mm sooon after the concrete has set, up to a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the widening the firest saw cut to 6mm and 24mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, staigth and smooth edges, joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, Oil, Vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by dorward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant, placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polythylene form backup rod of 08mm dia, application of boad breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN 41875-2003 with minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 years performance guarantee, appliying masked tape on edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete pavement by brooming while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.
