Repairs to 250 KVA transformer installed at electric substation of LIS Didwara by way of disconnecting of the electric transformer from the input and output power connections, lifting of electric transformer from its installed position by using manual labour, hydra or other suitable mechanical means and then shifting to workshop by using carriage vehicle. Unloading at workshop and then dismantling the 250 KVA transformer at workshop by way of extracting out the damaged HT coils & LT coils, LT bushes, HT bushes, HT & LT bush rods, rubber gasket, nuts and bolts, draining out the existing/old transformer oil in clean drum/collection vessel. The job includes complete rewinding of 3 nos. HT leg coil assembly with aluminium wire of appropriate gauge with proper insulation & taping, reconditioning of 3 nos. LT leg coils which includes proper insulation. Keeping the coil assembly in the oven to make moisture free so that requisite megger value is achieved. Providing and fitting of new LT and HT bush rod sets (including bushes), rubber gasket, new brass nuts and bolts and other necessary items for proper functioning of transformer. Cleaning the sump/container of transformer with appropriate chemical agent to remove all carbon deposit.The job also includes welding the defective portion of the transformer tank to seal the leaking area and prevent further leakage of transformer oil. After completion of the welding work, the repaired portion will be thoroughly tested to ensure a leak proof seal, thereby restoring the integrity of the transformer tank and ensuring safe and reliable operation. Lowering the assembled coil assembly in the sump of the transformer and then securing it with the body of the transformer. Filling the existing transformer oil in the sump after giving heat treatment/Reconditioning to make it moisture free. The job includes providing and filling of fresh/new 100 Litres Transformer oil for topping up the transformer. Refitting the top cover by providing and fitting requisite gasket, nuts and bolts of appropriate sizes. Testing the continuity of each phase and securing all connections. The job further includes loading of repaired transformer into mechanical transport using manual labour/hydra or other suitable mechanical means , shifting of repaired electric transformer back to the site i.e. LIS Didwara, in the same manner as transported from site to workshop, unloading and installing at transformer hoisting channel/platform with the help of tools & tackles, skilled manual labour. Connecting of HT supply. Allowing the transformer to charge at no load and then connecting the LT supply and testing the transformer on full load at site. The estimate has been framed after deducting the rebate on old damaged aluminium coils. The complete job includes cost of material, (skilled/unskilled) labour charges, loading & unloading, to &fro carriage, testing and installation and hire charges of the crane, tools & tackles used during the execution of job. Complete Job. Note: 1.The contractor/firm must ensure safety mechanisms for the workers and material involved during the execution of job at the site, as the sole responsibility lies with the contractor/firm. 2.The tenderers are requested to visit the site and quote the rates as per site conditions. Any modifications/ alterations of the job, absolutely necessary if required at the time of execution may be done as per actual site conditions.
