Amount

Attending day to day external treated water supply complaints of all nature i.e. leakage in water supply pipe lines, fittings/fixtures, entruction in water supply including entering the complaints in complaint register book complete all as specified and directed.

Attending external Electric supply complaints of day to day maintenance of existing LT panels including connecting electrical accessories/spares of Sewage treatment plant and sewage well installations, electric fittings with lights, short circuits in installations including noting the complaints in complaint register complete all as specified and directed.. (Note for srl No 1 & 2 :- (a) Material required for attending complaints shall be measured & paid separately under respectvie items here-in-after. (b) Engineer-in-charge will decide to number of manpower i.e plumber/fitter required to rectified the defects and contractor must be ensure to rectify the defects within time bound limit as directed by Engineer-in-charge.)

Notes for Srl No. 1 & 2 :- (c) The rates quoted by the contractor shall also deemed to be included for the following :- (i) The complaints shall be attended and the defects shall be rectified by a team of experienced Electrician/Plumber/fitter as applicable assisted with adequate number of helpers, matriculation passed qualified having minimum 03 years experience . (ii) The complaints shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 100/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from his dues to the maximum of Rs 1000/- per day for all complaints not attended in a day. Contractor rep shall be available wef 0800 Hrs to 2000 Hrs to recieve and notify coplained. (iii) In case , after checking & attending the defect,if it is not possible to rectify the defect within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-charge by the contractor/his rep. If Engineer-in- charge is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will be made.

(iv) While attending the complaint of water supply/electric supply if earth work is required then the same shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of Sch 'A'/BOQ. However no extra payments shall be made for dewatering. (v) Cutting of GI pipe in position and threading is also deemed to be included in the job quoted rates (Fittings and fixtures shall be measured and paid separetely under respective items of Sch A/BOQ). (vi) All T&P required for attending the complaints shall be provided by the contractor without any extra. (vii) The pipe fitter shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters,Taps, Pipe wrench ,Chain wrench, Caulking tools, complete set of spanners and ladders etc..,as required at site. (viii) Old retrieved material shall be the departmental property and shall be deposited in the MES stroe yard on the same day.

Notes for Srl No. 3 to 30 (i) The supply only items shall be deposited by the contractor in mes store yard and after obtain the items the Board of officer (BOO) will assess the quality and quantity of materials. After necessary approval of the board of officer (BOO) the stores shall be taken on charge in stock in hand ledger and audit officer will verify credit in the ledger. After that the stores shall be issued for further use against the complaint at site through indent. (ii) The labour component for fixing the material is deemed to be included under sr. item No. 1 & 2 respectively here-in-before and no extra payment will be made to contractor on this account.

Supplying, laying, jointing & commissioning DI pipe 100 mm bore, as per IS-8239-2000, class K-7 with inside cement mortar lining , spigot & socketed ends, laid in trenches, in new or old location with & including DI fittings with rubber gasket joints complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up Cast Iron /Ductile Iron water mains 150 mm bore including all fittings with spigot & socket ends of lead/tyton joints including burning out lead joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing & commissioning DI pipe 150 mm bore, as per IS-8239-2000, class K-7 with inside cement mortar lining , spigot & socketed ends, laid in trenches, in new or old location with & including DI fittings with rubber gasket joints complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed not exc 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Carrying samples for Testing of treated water of STP and submission of detailed test report to the office of the Engr-in-charge and detail are as under:- (a) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 3025 mandatory for chemical, colour ,odour, PH Value TSS BOD Cod residual chlorine total nitogen, sulphate, oil and grease ammonical Nitrogen (NH3-N) and Bacteriological total collifrom organisms per 100 Ml (MPN) and E colilie in 100ml Note - rate quoted shall deemed to be included for :- (i) Cost of sterilised bottle as required (ii) To and fro transportation charges for collection of sample.
