REPAIR AND MAINT OF RO PLANT CHLORINATION AND REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM OF ATC SRE AT AF STN UTARLAI.

Comprehensive maintenance/ repair for RO Plant of capacity 5000 Ltrs per hour - 02 Nos as under : (i) Contractor has to provide one service each month by qualified technician (ii) Any complaint shall be attended within 24 Hrs. (iii) Periodical maintenance of cleaning the membrane/ cartridge/ filters with citric acid, washing with high pressure water pump, servicing of chemical dozing systems, calibration of level indicator, valves, greasing of raw water pump, high pressure feed pump, decarburizing of control panel/ LT Panel etc. (iv) Replacement of other major spares as per existing size and capacity shall be measured and paid separately. (v) During dismantling and reassembling, testing of the equipment safety measures shoud be followed and safety equipments like mask, gloves etc shall be provided by contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates Note: Rate of labour cost for dismantling the spares and assembling the new parts/ system is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of comprehensive maintenance.

Repair to ACF by opening the chamber, remove all the materials like activated carbon, media upto bottom of the chamber, cleaning the inner walls by using suiatble cleaning agent, remove the fine deposits, cutting the supporting base by welding, fabricate the supporting base as per existing size and shape, fix to the chamber as before by welding, preparing the surface, painting with two coats enamel paint over one coat of red oxide, replacing the gasket of the opening way, filling the ACFwith media pebbles upto the top by laying in layers as before, close the opening and testing should be carried out upto satisfatcion of Engr-in-Charge. Note: Replacement of ACF 600 and various size of media shall be measured and paid separately

Taking up or down steel water tubing and connections complete all as specified and directed for the size 50mm dia.

S&F 50mm bore dia of GI pipe, medium grade ISI marked with all fittings laid in floor complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs of Gun - metal globe or gate valve with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipes and for unions complete all as specified and directed for the size 50mm dia pipe.

S&F in repairs Pressure gauge 4"dial 0-14 kgs rating pressure guage complete all as speciifed and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of PVC tank of capacity 10000 Ltrs, dewatering the tank, desilting and removing of left over water from bottom, cleaning tank surfaces by using bleaching powder approx 5 Kg and remove all foreign materials and clean with plain water all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The job shall be completed within 8 hrs to avoid any interruption in distribution of water supply

Dismantling and assembling of monoblock/ high pressure feed pump set 3 to 7.5 HP capacity, 3 phase incl electric connection and removing it from its position carefully and transporting the same to the work shop for servicing, greasing and refixing the same in its original position after repairs including connection up of water and electric connections including testing and commissioning complete all as specified. Note : (a) The spares required for repair the pump sets and rewinding of motors will be measured and paid separately under respective item. (b) Expendable stores like cotton waste/cleaning materials, lubricants , gland packing, rubber seal, metal filling, machining and transportation to and from site to work shop are deemed to be included in rate quoted. (c) Labour elements shall be included in unit rates.

M & L for rewinding of 3 phase electric induction motor 3 HP capacity with super enameled copper conductor of same guage weight and tuns to achieve its full efficiency including tying the windings and connecting the coils and brining the connections as that of exisitng complete including renewal of worn out/unserviceable bearings etc all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for rewinding of 3 phase electric induction motor 7.5 HP capacity with super enameled copper conductor of same guage weight and tuns to achieve its full efficiency including tying the windings and connecting the coils and brining the connections as that of exisitng complete including renewal of worn out/unserviceable bearings etc all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair of rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks of capacity 100 Ltrs (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified. Note: PVC Tank shall be ISI Marked and having two layers.

Material and labour for repairing/servicing the Electric induction motor and centrifugal pump coupled type by carefully disconnecting the connection cables and earthings, disconnection of electric, water supply connections both side (suction and discharge side) and fixing of dummy plates as per site requirement. Removing side covers, servicing, greasing, changing of gland packing, gaskets, defective minor parts and re-assembling, testing, preparing the surfaces of the motor and pump for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint and commissioning the motor and pump of capacity 60 HP to the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) The rent of T&P for handling the pump motor assembly during dismantling and refixing is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by contatcor. (iii) Major spare parts of motor will be measured and paid separately under following respective items.

M&L for maintenance to 3 cylinder, 51.5 KW Diesel engine for 'B' check as per the recommendations of manufacturer (OEM) including renewal of necessary recommended filters, engine oil, 'O' rings etc., complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of U/G sump of capacity 20000 Gln first with plain water and then with the bleaching powder 20 Kg after cleaning making white wash of the inner surface with the lime complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The job shall be completed within 8 hrs to avoid any interruption in the system

Material and labour for preparing of old steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour for fire fighting equipment DD Pump, valves, pipes, hose box, hose drum etc with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour in ATC Fire Fighting Pump System. Note: Prior Approval of colour sample of paint should be taken from Engr-in-Charge before applying.

S&F in repairs of rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks of capacity 2000 Ltrs (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified including dismantling the unsv tank and necessary connections inlet and outlet should be done all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Servicing single head fire hydrant/ any type fire brigade of any size taking out, checking out for any obstructions to the functioning of hydrant, servicing, replacement of damaged parts/accessories, like bolts & nuts, rubber gaskets etc complete all as directed.

Servicing of sluice/ non return valve of any size upto 200mm dia taking out, checking out for any obstructions to the functioning of sluice/ NRV, servicing, replacement of damaged parts/accessories, like bolts & nuts, rubber gaskets, gland packing etc and refixing the same as before complete all as directed.

S&F in repairs gun metal threaded foot valve of size 100 mm dia with suitable strainer all as specified.

S&F in repairs gun metal threaded foot valve of size 50 mm dia with suitable strainer all as specified.

Taking up or down steel water tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing complete all as specified and directed for the size 50 mm bore dia complete all as specified.

All as per item No 36 but for 100 mm bore dia complete all as specified.

S&F in repairs Hose box made of 18 gauge MS Sheet 800mm X 600mm X 250mm with double door with 4 mm thick glasses and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet with lock and keys suitable to accommodate two canvas fire hose of dia 63mm dia, length 15 metre painted fire red out side and brilliant white inside yard suitable for outdoor application complete all as specified.
