| 1.01(B) Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity of Diesel engine as accepted by the accepting officer based on manufacturers technical details water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexiable coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS -10001/10002/ 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- (i) Fly wheel with housing (ii) Cooling System :- Moulded radiator with fan and belts (iii) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping upto & outside and 1meter away from the enclosure, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of 28 SWG complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. | 1.03(xiv) Base Frame : - Made out of ISMC of sturdy design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes. | 1.04(C) Acoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 160 KVA DG Set. (i) NAL approved as per CPCB. (ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (iii) The generating set batteries and control panel should be inside the enclosure. (iv) Fuel tank should be in side the enclosure. (v) Construction Details/specification are as follows : - (a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick. (b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick. (c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool (64kg/Cum). (vi) The accoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit. (vii) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated platform. (viii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. (ix) The enclosure should be suitably illuminated by CFL/FTL Lamp fittings. (x) The noise level should be <75 Db at 1m under free field conditions. (xi) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. | ||||||||||||
| 1.05Notes :- (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant ISI design. (ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of oil and FOL for final successful acceptance test. (iii) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer. (iv) All civil works including PCC platform and foundations work required for equipments including making good during installation and commissioning of Gen Set. The depth of the foundation and PCC shall be provided as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as per specified and directed. (v) Pre-commissioning test by IEM or any testing officer as nominated by HQ CE (A&N) Zone through Accepting Officer after installation of DG Set. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of half an hour on 10% overhead in presence of testing officer, all arrangements shall be made by the contractor for tests (vi) The Contractor shall submit GA drawings of DG Set for approval of Accepting Officer before placing order. | ||||||||||||

NOTES: 1) The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover 50mm thick reinforced with TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100mm c/c both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl. Page Nos. 422 & 423 of SSR Part-II.
