Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m deep & not exceeding 1.5m wide or area not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan& depth not exceeding 1.5 m in soft/loose soil and getting out for foundation, shafts,valve, pit, wells, manholes, pier holes, trenches etc complete all as specified & directed.

Note: Permission required for civil authority/ department prior to executing of work is responsibility of contractor and cost for same shall be deemed to include in quoted rate.

Returning filling in excavated soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm depth in soft / loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up or down old rusted / corroded / damaged cast iron pipe 150 mm bore spigot and socketed any size and any class at different locations and burning out and recovery of lead for re-use including removal of pipes from site complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, Laying, jointing & testing of 150 mm bore Ductile Iron pipe with flanged ends centrifugally cast of Class K-9 pressure pipe for water supply system ISI marked in any length laid in trenches in proper alignment , complete as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Joints shall be measured and paid separately.

Cast iron sluice valve of 150 mm bore heavy duty with pressure rating PN 1.6 conforming to IS : 14846 with cast iron body bonnet wedge stuffing box with high tensile steel spindle cast iron hand operated wheel & cap top nuts, bolts and washers, both ends flanged and drilled ends suitable for 6 mm thick rubber gasket joints complete all as specified & directed. Make : Kirloskar / Leader / Upadhay / Kejriwal or BIR

Construction of brick masonary valve pit chamber of size 1050 mm x 1050 mm x 1050 mm (internal dimension) including necessary excavation and earthwork in soft loose soil, foundation bed concrete 150 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm stone aggregate projected by 150mm all around from the outer face of brick wall including PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) in coping , brick work in one brick thick wall build in cement sand motar 1:4, 15mm thick rendering in cement sand mortar 1:4 on internal surface & top of of valve pit upto 150 mm external, mild steel sheet cover 3 mm thick and mild steel sheet fitted in angle iron frame size 40mm x 40mm x 6mm around of valve pit, locking arrangement with pad lock of size 50 mm steel 6 leaver with double keys of make ; Godrej / Link or Harrision locks complete including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer on steel surface, complete as specified & directed.
