Disconnecting all the electrical connections from H.T. and L.T. side of unserviceable transformer of capacity upto and including 100 KVA i.e. Jumpers/cable from the cable end box or bushings & earthing terminal of the transformers including taking down, loading, unloading of transformer & transportation by vehicle from substation to the repairing workshop & tranportation from workshop to same substation or any other substation / including reinstallation, commissioning and testing after repair complete all as specified and directed Note : Repair to transformer shall be measured & paid for seperately under relevent items of BOQ)

Opening the transformer cover of capacity upto & incl 100 KVA along with the conservator by removing the nuts bolts , removing the internal H.T. & L.T. connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings, taking out the core-winding assembly out of the tank, removing out burnt HV and LV windings from the core assembly, cleaning of core assembly with Carbon Tetra Chloride solution including necessary repairs for the unserviceable transformers having ratio 11 / 0.433 KV, draining & decanting of burnt transformer oil and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank with Carbon Tetra Chloride solution for the transformers , rewinding of HV and LV coils with suitable size super enamelled copper wire / copper / aluminium strip (As Existing) having suitable class insulation material,heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and removing all the moisture present in it, removal of leakage of tank if any by welding, refilling transformer oil to tank, after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling making the internal H.T. & L.T. connections by fixing the studs, bushing, fitting the top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator, testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil complete all as specified & directed. Note : (i) The quoted rates shall includes for labour required for S&F in replacement of unserviceable spare part & Spare parts shall be measured & paid for seperately under respective items as supply only (ii) Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 40 KV either new or filtered shall be filled and shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ.

Dehydration including filteration of transformer oil using dehydration filteration plant including testing of sample before and after dehydration and filteration complete all as specified and directed for the following capacity of transformer. (The dielectric strength to be achieved 40 KV at 2.5 mm gap after completion of dehydration and filteration). Note:- (i) Dehydration of transformer oil in the Transformer carried out on the site by dehydration machine and the amount quoted is deemed to be inclusive of this provison. (ii) All the Labour work like disconnection of cable and reassemble & drum etc. has to be carried out by contractor under their own arrenement & deemed included in their quoted rate)

M&L for Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, with peak of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for protecton of cable abutting each laid dry flat width equal to the length of cable cover etc complete all as spd and directed.

M&L for Dry fine sand cushioning to under ground cables 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying, stretching and testing the cable all as direted. Note : Punned thickness shall be measured & paid

M&L for detection of any type of fault in HT underground Line of any size and core. (laid in soil at plane area or forest area) with the help of HT Meggar. Seggregation of faulty span by meggering and making span serviceable by repair of cable or S&F in replacement of cable. Note : 1. Detection of one fault in faulty span will be measured as Each Job. 2. Earth work and taking out will be measured seperately. 3. Material for repair and S&F in replacement will be measured saperately.

Detection of any type of fault in HT underground Line (laid in soil at plane area or forest area) with the help of Cable fault locator machine. Cable fault locator with carring vehicle will be brought by the cable fault detection agencies. Span of faulty cable will be trace out by the agencies by meggering HT cable. Note : 1. Detection of fault in one span of length will be measured as Each Job. 2. Technicians will be employed by the working agencies. 3. Earth work and taking out will be measured seperately. 4. Material for repair and S&F in replacement will be measured saperately. 5. One Job shall be measured if the fault has successfully rectified by the fault locator machine and Technician.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty ) with aluminium conductor, 11KV grade, suitable for earthed system, with aluminium conductor of size 95 Sqmm 3 core incuding taking down unserviceable HT cable of any type / size/ description , etc laid in trenches or fixed to wall / pole or passing through pipes or road crossing, incl testing complete all specified and directed. (Note : Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid sepratley.)

Necessary permission will be obtained from department by contractor one day prior to trimming in particular area and shut down of that area will be arranged by department accordingly. The trimming work shall be commenced once it is permitted by AGE in writing. (ii) Total length of line from supply point to load end will be measured for the purpose of payment, irrespective of the No of trees required to be trimed. (iii) only effective length i.e length where tree branches are touching HT line or neaby HT line shall only be measured & paid under this item. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained by the deptt at later stage. [The approximate length of one span is 30 to 45m]
