RENOVATION OF HOUSE NO.24 SECTOR 4 CHANDIGARH.

Dismantling of ceramic tiles or vitrified and plaster to making the surface clean for refixing the glazed tiles including removing of malba complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand). The tiles are to be fixed by providing 3 mm thick space. The groves are to be filled with cementitious grout mix with proportion of 0.90 kg grout and 0.10 kg of hardener for each kg of filling material complete in all respect and to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in- Charge. Size of Tile 600 x 1200 mm

Providing and laying antiskid vitrified floor tiles of size 600 x 1200 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to 15: 15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade. The tiles are to be laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 cparse sand). The tiles are to be fixed with 3 mm grove using spacers. The grove are to be filled with cementitious grout mix with proportion of 0.90 kg grout and 0.10 kg of hardener for each kg of filling material complete in all respect and to entire statisfaction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and fixing 35mm thick 2nd class teak wood (kiln seasoned) glazed window shutters consisting of vertical and horizontal styles 75x35mm size with 4mm thick floated glass pane fixed with 1/2"x3/4" teak wood (kiln seasoned) beading. The rate further includes the cost of 3" butt hinges, S.S. Tower bolts 4", S.S. handles 2 nos. I-hook and two coats of Spirit Polish after preparation of surface (special quality) complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 35mm thick phenol bounded factory manufactured solid flush door shutter ISI marked with both side 4mm teak ply in the existing chowkhat. The rate includes the cost of all necessary stainless steel fittings and french spirit polish on teak ply complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 15 to 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels. Granite stone slab of colour Black, Cherry/Ruby Red (Based on DSR 8.2.2.1)

Providing and fixing 2'-0” deep cupboard /cabinet/vanity consisting of 19mm thick commercial board and 6mm thick ply on back side, 4mm thick teak ply pasted on the exposed surface and making shelves in cabinet 0.8mm mica inside canbinet . The rate further includes the cost of lipping, piano hinges, cupboard lock, screws, nails, 2 nos. fancy s.s. handles, 2 nos. magnetic catchers, fevicol and painting two coats over one priming coat and preparation of surface on board and ply surface and spirit polishing on teak ply complete in position as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing modular kitchen with cabinet made out of 18 mm thick HDHMR board machine made. The HDHMR board of 8 feet by 4 feet should weight not less than 46kg. The edges of cabinet is to be fixed with PVC edge bend of 0.8mm thick with adhesive (hot melt). The complete box shall be assembled with mini fix Handleless Profiles and should be machine fitted (Built-in) into the cabinets. It further includes the cost of 4 nos legs 4" high with load capacity of 200kg per leg). The cost also includes PVC skirting 12mm thick in front of cabinet bottom. This cost also includes the front shutter made out of 18mm thick HDHMR exterior grade board with both side 1mm high gloss laminate. The shutter should have 4 side PVC edge bend 2mm thick fixed with adhesive (hot melt). All these should be complete as per drawings supplied by the consultant and need to be verified by the consultant and the Engineer- in Charge.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
